Abstract

The online buying and selling of songbirds in Surakarta has grown significantly with the rise of e-commerce, offering convenience, efficiency, and broader market access. Consumers can easily browse and purchase birds through various online platforms without geographical limitations. However, this type of transaction also presents several risks, including fraud, uncertainty about the bird’s quality, and potential issues during shipping, such as injury or death. Legal protection for consumers engaging in online transactions is regulated under Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection (UUPK) and Law No. 11 of 2008, amended by Law No. 19 of 2016, on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE). These regulations outline the rights and obligations of both business actors and consumers to ensure fair and secure transactions. Despite the benefits of online transactions, challenges such as lack of transparency, unreliable sellers, and logistical issues remain prevalent. Consumers are advised to conduct transactions with reputable sellers, such as members of bird enthusiasts’ communities, to reduce the risk of fraud. Additionally, in cases of consumer losses, dispute resolution mechanisms are available through e-commerce complaint services or institutions such as the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK), Consumer Protection Organizations (LPKSM), and the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI). As online commerce continues to evolve, strengthening consumer protection mechanisms is essential to creating a more secure and reliable marketplace for songbird enthusiasts.

Abstract

Teuku Umar Barat – Gunung Salak Street Intersection is one of the intersections that serves high traffic movement in the West Denpasar area. The problems that occur at the intersection are traffic congestion with high delays, especially during rush hours. To improve the performance of the intersection so that efficiency and smooth traffic flow can be achieved, a study was conducted with the aim of regulating traffic management in the intersection area with a one-way flow circulation pattern. Analysis of the performance of the section and intersection in existing conditions and the planned scenario using MKJI 1997, there are two alternative traffic managements, namely Alternative 1: Diverting Traffic Movement on the North and South Legs (North Gunung Salak Street – South Gunung Salak Street) multi-program traffic signal arrangements. Alternative 2: Diverting Traffic Movement on the East and South Legs (West Teuku Umar Street – South Gunung Salak Street) with traffic signal arrangements. The results of the analysis show that Alternative 2 is the best solution to reduce the amount of delays and increase the capacity and level of service at the Teuku Umar Barat – Jalan Gunung Salak intersection.

Abstract

Digitalization allows people to process and access information services with others. The existence of policies can support the implementation of Smart Governance because digital progress helps people utilize public services digitally, such as that done by PDAM Kota Tangerang by using the Siganteng application. This study uses a qualitative method that uses observation and interviews to collect data on how new technology can improve the quality of web-based public services at Perumda Tirta Benteng Kota Tangerang. The target informants are the community and also the public relations staff of the call center at Perumda Tirta Benteng Kota Tangerang. The results of the study show that the Siganteng application is an innovative service because it makes online complaints easier.

Abstract

This article will discuss the meaning of a language, talking about language is certainly inseparable from talking about meaning, because meaning is the most important element in a language, both spoken language directly and language that is not spoken in the form of writing, this is certainly inherent in every language in the world. The research that will be discussed by the author in this article is related to meaning, more specifically, it discusses the meaning of the laa particle in the text of the Koran letter An-Nisa. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, because it focuses on analyzing the meaning of the laa particle in the Quranic text, especially in Surah An-Nisa. Based on the results of data collection conducted by the author, there are 36 data of “laa” particles that have different meanings.

Abstract

Islamic character in the youth is significantly influenced by various factors, including religious education and their psychological understanding of Islamic teachings. This study aims to explore how the psychology of religion plays a role in the formation of Islamic character in the youth of Indonesia. In this study, the psychology of religion is understood as the science that examines the impact of religion on an individual's psychological development, including in the aspects of morality and ethics. The formation of Islamic character in the youth can be carried out through an integrative approach, combining the principles of psychology with Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach by analyzing literature and case studies related to the psychology of religion and Islamic education in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that the application of psychology of religion in education can form a strong Islamic character by instilling moral values in accordance with Islamic teachings, such as honesty, discipline, and empathy.

Abstract

In recent years, technological developments have opened up new opportunities to improve the effectiveness of emergency police services. One technology that has taken center stage is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT allows physical objects around us to connect and communicate with each other, opening up opportunities to create smart solutions in various fields, including emergency services. In this context, the Haversine method becomes relevant due to its ability to calculate the distance between two geographic coordinate points by considering the curvature of the earth's surface. The problem often encountered is the slow response and inaccuracy in determining the location of emergency events, especially in complex or remote areas often increasing the risk of public safety. The goal is to measure the effectiveness of the application in improving the speed and accuracy of response to emergency situations. This study uses a quantitative research design to develop and evaluate an IoT-based police emergency service application using the Haversine method. Based on the survey, the most widely used social media by internet users in Indonesia aged 16-64 years is WhatsApp (90.9%), followed by Instagram (85.3%), Facebook (81.6%), TikTok (73.5%). The results of manual calculations show the same results as the results of the closest distance search conducted by the application, namely that the location of the nearest police post/police to Citra Bangsa University is Kupang City Police Station.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the performance of a boost converter based on the XL6009 IC through a series of experimental tests with variations in the input voltage. The boost converter circuit design is made with main components such as inductors, capacitors, Schottky diodes, and feedback resistors to regulate the output voltage level. The test was carried out by providing an input voltage of 2.6 V, 2.7 V, 2.8 V, and 2.9 V, followed by measuring the resulting output voltage. The results of the tests show that the circuit successfully increases the input voltage to a higher level, producing output voltages of 7.93 V, 9.37 V, 10.63 V, and 11.57 V respectively. The voltage increase ratio is in the range of 3 to 4 times, which reflects consistent performance and is in line with the attributes of the boost converter. Additional analysis shows that the circuit design can be refined to increase efficiency and reduce voltage fluctuations. The findings of this study prove that the XL6009 IC is a useful component for boost converter applications in various power electronic systems, such as portable power sources, renewable energy systems, and battery charging.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility and attractiveness of e-module learning media by using book creators in the SKI subject of Sunan Kudus Class VI material. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The development model uses the ADDIE development model adopted in Robert Maribe Brach. Media eligibility is based on the results of validation and media attractiveness based on student pre-test and Post-test results and media attractiveness response questionnaires. The effectiveness of the e-module was tested with nonequivalent control group design and t-test with SPSS program. The results showed that the results of media validation got a score of 85.45%, the results of material validation got a score of 91.30% with very feasible criteria, and the response of media attractiveness for students got a score of 80.87% with interesting criteria. Based on the t-test, a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the An-Nur e-Module using Book Creator on improving student learning result. The improvement in student learning result can be seen in the paired samples statistics table that the experimental class pre-test score is 58.61 and the experimental class Post-test is 84.52, and (5) the experimental class Post-test results are 84.52 and the control class Post-test group is 75.82. Thus, that the level of learning result among students with An-Nur e-Module is higher than students with conventional learning

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the communication strategy implemented by PT Global Sigma Mandiri in influencing customers through WhatsApp social media in the context of marketing communication. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. Data were obtained through interviews with the company's marketing staff and analysis of WhatsApp content used in communication with customers. The results showed that PT Global Sigma Mandiri uses various approaches in marketing communication, including the delivery of customized promotional messages, personalized customer relationship management, and utilization of WhatsApp features to build two-way communication. Thus, WhatsApp as a communication platform is effective in increasing customer engagement and satisfaction.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly. One of them is characterized by the use of TikTok social media as a means of promotion, purchasing and selling products. The @RosePakpahan account utilizes TikTok by using affiliates for the purpose of earning income or commission from product sales. Marketing communications carried out to promote and sell products are based on the A-I-D-A theory (Attention, Interest, Desire and Action). The method used was an interview with a qualitative approach to Rose Pakpahan. This is to find out how to use TikTok social media by using affiliates on the @RosePakpahan account. The results of this research show that TikTok can make the audience interested in watching content and even buying the products being sold, thus making @RosePakpahan earn economic income. Therefore, TikTok is not only an entertainment medium, but also a product marketing tool.
