Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of teenagers using a second account on Instagram as a means of supporting self-actualization in the digital era. A second account, or secondary account, provides a private space for teenagers to share personal content, express feelings, and explore their identity without the social pressures that often arise on the main account. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study explores the subjective experiences of teenagers in using a second account as a tool to display a more honest and liberating self-image. The study shows that a second account not only functions as protection from social pressure, but also becomes a useful medium for building self-confidence, building closer relationships with small social circles, and exploring various aspects of one's identity. In a broader context, this phenomenon reflects changes in the behavior of social media users who increasingly need private space in the digital world. This study is expected to enrich the literature on the role of social media in shaping personal identity and become a reference for further research on the behavior of digital platform users.

Abstract

Service strategy is seen from the efforts made by a company or entity to improve the quality and efficiency of Customer Service. A laboratory must carry out service activities that can make its customers feel satisfied. Service is defined as an action or deed of a person or organization to provide satisfaction to customers or fellow employees. The purpose of this study was to determine Interpersonal Communication in Customer Service in Maintaining Reputation at Gunung Sahari Laboratory. This research is a qualitative study. Data collection was carried out by interview and google review survey. Data analysis using the interactive analysis model. The results of the study on Interpersonal Communication in Customer Service in Maintaining Reputation at Gunung Sahari Laboratory, can be concluded several important things. The implementation of effective interpersonal communication has been shown to have a significant role in maintaining the company's reputation. Aspects of communication, both verbal and non-verbal, which are carried out properly, have been shown to have a major impact on maintaining the positive image of Gunung Sahari Laboratory. Gunung Sahari Laboratory is advised to carry out routine training on interpersonal communication, both verbal and non-verbal, in order to improve the quality of service on an ongoing basis. In addition, periodic evaluation of the implementation of Customer Service communication standards.

Abstract

‘Grave Torture’ movie tells the dramatic journey of a girl named Sita and her younger brother named Adil, whose lives changed completely after losing their parents due to terrorism. The story has many messages that are close to social and community issues in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out the hidden meaning of the ‘Grave Torture’ movie based on Roland Barthes’ Semiotic Analysis. This research is a qualitative study with Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis method which consists of three elements, denotation, connotation and myth. This data was obtained through the ‘Grave Torture’ movie. Through a reflective approach, this film reflects various forms of social messages that occur in society, especially those who are Muslim. Films become a medium of education and reflection on the dangers of trauma that damage the victims. This film reminds the audience to always be careful, create a positive environment and dare to fight negative thoughts and always dare to fight violence or other detrimental actions and provide support for victims.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of the times, where sellers must adapt to the digital advancements of the internet in the online-based sales process. One of the platforms used to sell products online is the shopee marketplace. The purpose of this research is to understand the role of marketing public relations in establishing effective communication to promote products on the shopee marketplace through the MJE Online Shop account. This study employs a qualitative approach with the content analysis method, and data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and interviews with three informants. The research findings, verified using the 4P and AIDA theories, indicate that the role of marketing public relations in price-strikethrough discount promotions shows a strong positive correlation between marketing public relations and promotion. Promotions attract consumers due to more economical prices and the convenience of purchasing their needs at affordable costs. These findings suggest that the role of marketing public relations can serve as a strategic tool for sellers on the Shopee marketplace to enhance their competitiveness and increase product sales.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the meaning of moral messages in RJL 5 YouTube content by Fajar Aditya, especially in the episode “Lost 3 Days on Mount Slamet”. In the digital era, media such as YouTube plays an important role in conveying educational and entertainment values. This episode attracts attention because it tells a true story with deep moral messages, such as the importance of preparation before climbing, awareness of safety, teamwork, and mental toughness in emergency situations. The research used a semiotic analysis method with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques of direct observation of the selected video content, supported by Roland Barthes' semiotic theory and moral communication theory to reveal the meaning of the narrative and visuals. The results show that this episode contains strong moral messages about the importance of permission from parents when going on a trip, preparation in climbing, patience, and mental resilience in dealing with extreme situations such as getting lost in the wild. This content is not only entertaining but also provides valuable learning, and is expected to encourage creators to pay attention to moral and educational aspects in the works presented. This research also contributes to communication studies in understanding the role of digital media as a means of conveying moral values.

Abstract

Suppose is a special symmetric matrix of order 6×6 with integer powers, where the entries are real number elements. To obtain the general form of the trace of the matrix by determining the general form of the matrix A_n^6 where the rank of the matrix is ​​first sought from the power of two to eleven and the power of negative two to negative eleven. Then guess the general formula for the exponent of the matrix with positive integer powers which is proven by mathematical induction and with the same steps guess the formula for the exponent of the matrix with negative integer powers which will be proven by the matrix inverse rule. So that the result is obtained, namely the general form of the trace of the matrix and is proven by the definition of trace along with examples of applications of the trace matrix.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Analysis of Teacher Needs Planning at SMPN 2 Batu Belah, Siantan Timur District, Anambas Islands Regency. The type of research conducted was mini research, data collection through interviews and observations. Planning for teacher needs at SMPN 2 Batu Belah is crucial to maintain the quality of education. The first problem shows that the shortage of teachers in this school is caused by the number of students studying, limited budget, and lack of teachers with appropriate backgrounds, especially in science and English subjects. Geographical factors and uneven teacher quality affect teacher planning. To overcome this, long-term planning is needed with data-based needs analysis, improving teacher competence through training, and utilizing technology in learning. Collaboration with universities and local government support is essential to ensure effective and sustainable teacher planning.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the pattern of marketing communication from conventional to digital methods, allowing companies to reach a wider audience with higher efficiency. Rabando Group, as a company engaged in online distribution, realizes the importance of utilizing social media, especially Instagram, as a strategic platform to increase brand awareness. The purpose of this study is to determine Rabando Group's digital marketing communication strategy in increasing brand awareness on Instagram. The data collection method in compiling the thesis uses observation, interview, documentation and literature study methods with the analysis method in the form of qualitative analysis, namely a data analysis method without using statistical analysis. The results of the study show that Rabando Group utilizes the AIDA strategy to increase brand awareness on Instagram. At the Attention stage, the brand attracts the audience's attention with attractive visual content and consistent uploads, making the brand "Top of Mind" in the minds of consumers. The Interest stage is carried out by delivering relevant information via Instagram Story and live, which strengthens brand recall when the audience compares the brand with competitors. At the Desire stage, emotional storytelling and highlighting product benefits support brand recognition, making it easier for the audience to recognize the brand through its unique characteristics. The Action stage utilizes effective CTAs and a simple purchasing process to convert unaware of brand audiences into potential consumers, thereby expanding marketing reach and increasing brand awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the tenant relations communication strategy implemented by Epiwalk Mall in maintaining and improving good relations with tenants. Effective communication plays an important role in building trust, increasing satisfaction, and loyalty of tenants towards mall managers. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. The communication techniques applied include face-to-face communication, use of digital media, surveys, and a responsive and proactive personal approach. This strategy allows managers to understand tenant needs, handle complaints quickly, and create mutually beneficial relationships. The results of the study indicate that the combination of these communication techniques not only increases tenant satisfaction but also strengthens Epiwalk Mall's image as a professional and caring business partner. The collaborative and empathetic approach applied in interactions with tenants creates a comfortable and productive work environment. This study provides theoretical contributions to the field of tenant relations communication and offers practical recommendations for mall managers in improving relations with tenants for business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy employed by Gamchi.id through its Instagram account to enhance its brand image. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis method, the research explores the implementation of the Three Ways Strategy (Push, Pull, Pass). The findings reveal that Gamchi.id successfully utilized Instagram as an interactive platform for promotion, consumer education, and building customer loyalty. The strategies implemented include publishing attractive visual content, collaborating with influencers, and organizing special events relevant to the target audience. Through a well-planned and creative approach, Gamchi.id has strengthened its brand image among Indonesian consumers
