Abstract

Kolesterol adalah zat yang diproduksi alami oleh organ hati tetapi juga bisa ditemukan dalam makanan, kolesterol berlebih akan menimbulkan kerak yang akan menjadi penyebab dari berbagai penyakit berbahaya. Menurunnya kondisi dalam diri seorang lansia menyebabkan penurunan fisik sebagai faktor penurunan kesehatan lansia yang akan memunculkan berbagai penyakit degeneratif seperti kolesterol. Senam ergonomik merupakan salah satu terapi nonfarmakologi untuk membantu pembakaran kolesterol. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan senam ergonomik untuk penurunan kadar kolesterol pada pasien lansia di keluarga wilayah binaan Puskesmas Pegandan Semarang. Metode studi kasus berupa studi kasus deskriptif. Pengambilan data menggunakan dua orang lansia dengan mengalami kolesterol tinggi dan sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Pengukuran menggunakan alat Easy Touch GCU, Subjek I hasil pre test kadar kolesterol 206 mg/dL dan post test 201 mg/dL, Subjek II dengan pre test kadar kolesterol 245 mg/dL dan post test kadar kolesterol 223 mg/dL. Hasil observasi pengkajian kadar kolesterol pada Subjek I dan Subjek II menunjukan terdapat penurunan terhadap kadar kolesterol antara sebelum dilakukan senam ergonomik dan setelah melakukan senam ergonomik selama 3 kali dalam seminggu dengan Tingkat kemandirian keluarga Subjek I mengalami peningkatan dari 2 menjadi 3 dan Subjek II meningkat dari 3 menjadi 4.

Abstract

Sindrom Pernafasan Akut Parah Corona Virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), virus yang menginfeksi manusia yang sangat mudah menular dan ganas yang muncul di Wuhan, Cina, pada Desember 2019; menyebabkan penyakit pernapasan yang disebut penyakit Virus Corona 2019 (COVID-19), yang telah memberikan dampak besar pada kesehatan masyarakat global dan menyebabkan gangguan luas pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Setelah COVID-19, beberapa pasien mungkin mengalami sindrom imobilisasi yang terkait dengan disfungsi pernapasan, dan hampir mencapai 20% kasus berkembang menjadi Post COVID Syndrome (PCS) diikuti oleh sakit kepala, gangguan perhatian, rambut rontok, dan dispnea, dengan kondisi yang mengancam jiwa, yang keduanya memerlukan intervensi rehabilitasi. Dalam studi ini, kami memilih teks lengkap bahasa Inggris dari PubMed dari tahun 2020 hingga 2022, terutama membahas tentang efek akupunktur dalam rehabilitasi COVID-19 termasuk PCS. Meskipun hanya bukti terbatas yang ditemukan, akupunktur memiliki efek menguntungkan tertentu dalam rehabilitasi COVID-19.

Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan penyakit yang masih menjadi pandemic saat ini, salah satu upaya pencegahan penularannya ialah dengan menggunakan masker. Namun kepatuhan penggunaan masker pada masyarakat khususnya anggota PKB dan WKI GMIM wilayah Kawangkoan Dua masih rendah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan kajian penggunaan masker yang didasarkan pada teori Health Belief Model (HBM).Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk menganalisis kepatuhan penggunaan masker pada anggota PKB dan WKI GMIM di wilayah Kawangkoan Dua.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Mix Method dengan rancangan explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data ialah dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam pada 6 informan, serta dilakukan juga telaah dokumen dan observasi lapangan. Penelitian dilakakan di wilayah Kawangkoan Dua pada bulan Juni-Desember 2022. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa para informan tidak patuh meggunakan masker disebabkan oleh karena ketidaknyamanan saat menggunakan masker dan aktivitas dominan dilakukan di kebun. Selain itu berdasarkan teori HBM para informan menyadari akan bahaya covid-19 dan pentingnya menggunakan masker namun tetap harus diimbangi dengan protokol kesehatan lainnya. Selain itu ditemukan tidak adanya hambatan seperti kesulitan untuk mendapatkan masker. Meskipun beberapa informan tidak patuh menggunakan masker namun masih ada informan yang tetap menggunakan masker meskipun hanya digunakan pada tempat-tempat tertentu yang mewajibkan menggunakan masker.

Abstract

Based on rules of National Agency of Drug and Food Control No. 32 of 2019 concerning the Safety and Quality Requirements of Traditional Medicines, it is stated that every traditional medicine must have a water content value of 10%. Excessive water content in a product will result in a decrease in the quality of traditional medicinal preparations. This study was conducted with the aim of determine the percentage of the water content of unregistered branded slimming herbal products circulating in Cimahi City by the provisions of water content requirements based on BPOM. This research is quantitative research using experimental methods. Determination of water content in this study using the gravimetric method, with the heating method at a temperature of 105°C at a certain time. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the average value of water content in the six herbal medicine samples, namely samples A, B, C, D, E, F, respectively, was 10.5%; 13.55%; 10.65%; 11.58%; 11.01% and 8.48%. So that the value of the water content of branded slimming herbs is not registered in Cimahi City, only one of the six samples studied has met the requirements set by BPOM is F sample.

Abstract

Colorectal cancer is the third most common type of cancer in the world. Chemotherapy is one of the treatments for colorectal cancer with the most widely used regimens known as FOLFOX and FOLFIRI. One of the most common side effects of chemotherapy from these two regimens is leukopenia. This study aims to examine the characteristics of age, gender, use of the regimen, the decrease in the leukocyte value of each regimen and the difference in the decrease in the leukocyte value from the use of the FOLFOX and FOLFIRI regimens. This research is an observational study, which was carried out retrospectively with total sampling and quantitative descriptive analysis. The data was taken from medical records of colorectal cancer patients who underwent chemotherapy with the FOLFOX and FOLFIRI regimens at one of Bandung Private Hospital for the 2021 period. The results of this study showed that colorectal cancer patients were most dominant at the age of 56-65 years as much as 50% and suffered by mostly male patients as much as 64.3% with the use of both regimens in the same amount, that is 50% each. After undergoing the first chemotherapy, there was a significant decrease in leukocyte values in both regimens. The mean percentage reduction in leukocytes with the use of FOLFOX was 19% and FOLFIRI was 28%, but statistically, the decrease in leukocyte values in the two regimens was not significantly different.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of prescriptions for BPJS outpatient BPJS with the national formulary, determine the level of patient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services, and determine the relationship between prescription conformity with the national formulary on the level of patient satisfaction at Hospital West Bandung. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive analysis. Data on the suitability of prescription writing with the national formulary were obtained from observation sheets. Each item on the recipe sheet is checked for compliance with the national formulary. Meanwhile, patient satisfaction data was obtained from a satisfaction questionnaire sheet. There are eight assessment indicators that must be filled out by respondents. The number of samples in this study were 97 prescription sheets and 97 respondents. Data were analyzed using ETA test. The results showed that 86% of prescriptions were in accordance with the national formulary, the majority of patients were satisfied with pharmaceutical services, and there was no significant relationship between the suitability of prescription writing with the national formulary on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

The implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination is one of the national programs that must also be carried out in all health services involving all health workers, including medical record officers. The role of the Medical Record Officer in the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination is one that supports the achievement of the target for the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination in health services. This study aims to determine the role of medical record officers in the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination at Community Health Center (Puskesmas) X West Bandung Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews and direct observation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman with the data validity technique using an extension of participation. The subjects of this study were 3 medical record personnel who were involved in the implementation of the covid-19 vaccination at Community Health Center (Puskesmas) X West Bandung Regency based on the snowball technique. The results showed that the role of the medical record officer at the time of the covid-19 vaccination was as an interviewer, in charge of p-care access and data input, password holder, observer and reporting officer.

Abstract

The incidence of Urinary Tract Infection in Indonesia ranks second which often attacks women's health. The preliminary study found that 1 out of 18 female students had urinary tract infections with four recurring events. The research objective was to describe self awareness about vulva hygiene measures in adult women in preventing urinary tract infections. Self awareness is a person's intelligence in placing himself in certain situations and conditions and what he should do. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling with 195 female students as respondents. The instrument uses a google form questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that 137 respondents (70.2%) had high self-awareness to recognize feelings and behaviors, 190 respondents (97.5%) had high self-awareness to recognize strengths and weaknesses, 162 respondents (83.1%) had self-awareness have high self-awareness, 108 respondents (55.4%) have high self-awareness of making the right decisions, 170 respondents (87.2%) have self-awareness skilled at expressing thoughts, feelings, opinions, and high beliefs, 112 respondents (57.5 %) have moderate self-awareness in self-evaluating. The conclusion of the study is that most of the adult women's self-awareness is high regarding vulva hygiene measures in preventing urinary tract infections. The researcher suggests further researchers to be able to find other variables related to vulva hygiene measures in preventing urinary tract infections.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the establishment of face-to-face learning in schools and children are at risk of contracting COVID-19 if they do not comply with health protocols. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes to obeying health protocols in school-age children. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaire to 105 students at the Cianjur private elementary school. Respondents fill out knowledge and attitude questionnaire. Bivariate data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed that more than half of the respondents were male (55.2%), 11 years old (29.5%), 5th-grade elementary school (28.6%), had good knowledge (77.1%), and positive attitude towards health protocols (54.3%). The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and attitude towards obeying health protocols in school-age children (p-value = 0.013). The results of the study found that there were still those who had sufficient and less knowledge, and respondents who had good knowledge still had negative attitudes. Researchers suggest for school-age children to use this research as information in order to increase awareness that health protocols are important to prevent the transmission of COVID19, and for teachers to use more effective media in providing education on health protocols to increase knowledge that affects attitude formation.

Abstract

Nursing Care Documentation is an umbrella for nurses as responsibility and accountability. However, its implementation in hospital is often contrained by limited time, knowledge and infrastructure. The purpuse of this study was to determine the relationship between the work environment and the documentation of nursing care. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample technique used total sampling with a total sample of 85 nurses who documented nursing care. Based on the results of data analysis, more than 50% of respondents said that the work environment was good. The results of observations made by researchers, 80% of nurses in inpatient rooms document nursing care properly. Bivariate analysis using the chi square test obtained a p-value of 0.000 < α, which means that there is a significant relationship between the work environment and the documentation of nursing care. conclusion, the documentation of nursing care is influenced by the quality of leadership, leadership style, programs and policies, professional development, autonomy and interdisciplinary relations which all have a p.value of 0.000 < α (0.05) which means a significant effect.
