Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase students' conceptual understanding of one way electric circuit material using the Vascak Physics Animation media. The subjects of this research were students from one of the classes at the Bekasi School, consisting of 13 students and 17 female students. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a before-after design. Data analysis using a paired sample t-test based on pretest and post test data shows that there is a significant difference between before using Vascak Physics Animation with an Asiymp.Sig (2- Tailed) significance value of 0,000 and after using Vascak Physics Animation and the results of the average value The average Normalized Gain (N-Gain) is 0,41 in the medium classification so that it can be concluded that there is an influence of using the Vascak Physics Animation online media on students' conceptual understanding and the use of the Vascak Physics Animation learning media shows that it is effective in increasing students' conceptual understanding of unidirectional electric circuits material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) on the physics learning outcomes of high school students through a meta-analysis of national scientific publications. The approach used is a descriptive method with meta-analysis techniques applied to data from various studies implementing the SRL model. The analysis results show that the application of SRL has an effect with an average effect size of 0.252 (small category). Based on the education level, the effect size is 0.241 (small category). Based on regions, the highest effect sizes were found in Bali (0.485) and South Sumatra (0.665), both categorized as large effects. Regarding related variables, the general effect size of SRL is 0.221 (SD = 0.221; small to moderate category), while the effect size of SRL on learning outcomes is 0.261 (SD = 0.261; small to moderate category). These findings indicate that the implementation of SRL has a meaningful impact on improving physics learning outcomes among high school students.
