Abstract

Altimetry satellite technology is used to regulate sea level. Observations are carried out every year to study the dynamics of sea level in the world. Sea level anomalies (SLA) in each region have different values and vary greatly. The main cause that increases from sea level is the thermal increase that increases from the mass of water from melting ice and glaciers on the surface of the earth. Therefore, this research aims to calculate the SLA from the SARAL / AltiKa satellite data and Jason's satellite series to study the variability of sea level in Indonesia's western sea, namely: the Java Sea, Karimata Strait and the South China Sea. From the research conducted, sea level rise obtained using SARAL / AltiKa satellite data in the range of -10 mm to 8 mm at a rate of decline of 0,459 mm / year. Meanwhile, Jason's series satellite data produces sea surface variations of around -2 mm to 11 mm at a rate of decline of 0,817 mm / year. From these two satellite observations, sea level decreases occur in the Java Sea, while in the Karimata Strait and parts of the South China Sea increasing sea level rise. In addition, this study uses research analysis to study the association of SLA data from SARAL / AltiKa and Jason satellite observations. The results of comparative analysis are very strong and in line with the estimated coefficient value of 0,9332.Keywords: Altimetri, Jason, Perairan Indonesia, SARAL/AltiKa, Sea Level Anomaly, Trend

Abstract

Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) is commonly referred to as flowing concrete because it has a high slump specification with a slump value of more than 19 cm (ASTM C 1017). Self-compacting concrete has been widely used in the construction world because it has several advantages, such as increasing workability. The high workability of SCC concrete is due to the use of superplasticizer added materials that are mixed into the concrete. With the addition of a superplasticizer, it can improve the workability of the concrete mix. So that SCC concrete has a low water-cement factor, SCC concrete is easier to work with when compared to normal concrete. In this study, the addition of the percentage of glass powder started from 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% and 12.5% with a 1.5% superplasticizer. Strength growth from each time difference of the concrete compressive test has increased the value of the compressive strength, the percentage increase in the average compressive strength test results. At the age of seven days the average compressive strength of concrete reaches 87.16%, while at 14 days the average compressive strength of concrete reaches 93.39%, and at 28 days the average compressive strength of concrete reaches 100%. The addition of glass powder to SCC concrete generally shows an increase in compressive strength. The highest average compressive strength was at 7.5% glass powder with 1.5% superplasticizer with a compressive strength of 7, 14, and 28 days, respectively, which was 48.80 MPa, 52.41 MPa, and 56.19 MPa. The level of addition of glass powder for SCC concrete based on the calculation of the maximum use of glass powder is 7.5% by weight of cement with a superplasticizer content of 1.5%Keywords: Concrete Mix, Flowing Concrete, Self Compacting Concrete, Strength, Superplasticizer

Abstract

Prambanan Temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in Indonesia that has been declared one of the world heritage sites by UNESCO in 1991. The soil structure underneath the temples consists of Young Mount Merapi and sand sediments characterized as a light structure. It can shift quickly, making Prambanan Temple susceptible to vertical movements. Geodetic measurement was held periodically using Total Station, but there has not been any comprehensive analysis for the vertical movements. The study generated computation for the vertical movements of the monitoring point located on the body of the Prambanan Temple. Then an analysis of the vertical movement was generated. This computation uses observations data of the vertical angles and horizontal distance for the first- period (2019) and the second-period measurement (2020) from the deformation monitoring points spread across six temples in the yard of Prambanan Temple. The height value (Z) and standard deviation are computed using a general least square adjustment method. The vertical deformation is analyzed by a statistical test which consists of a significance test for different parameters and a single point displacement test using a confidence level of 95%. Furthermore, analysis of the vertical movement velocity is carried out at each monitoring point. The result is the Z value for the second-period measurement along with its precision, the value of vertical movement, and the velocity of vertical movement at each monitoring point. The Z value obtained in the second-period measurement has a standard deviation value of less than 4 mm, ranging from 0,322 to 3,096 mm.

Abstract

The 14th Sustainable Development Goals has less in common with the others, which mostly concern about poverty, hunger, inequality, healthy and education. The difference is that the goal doesn’t really linkages, and it is more likely independent. Apart from that, the goal is mainly talk about how marine resources can be used sustainably without being harmful to environment itself. Therefore, the academic sector should be taken into account in order to accomplish the goal through its science capacity and analytic. Geodesy and Geomatics Science will be a very useful tools in creating sustainable use of oceans and furthermore will help to assist government in decision making. The topic of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System will be the main discussion in order to help the implementation of 14th SDGs which will be explained in technical aspects section. This paper come up with recommendation for government and its policy through the discussion in the legal and institutional aspects.Keywords: 14th SDGs, Decision making, Geodesy and geomatics, Sustainable Development, Marine resources;

Abstract

In the management of marine resources, a marine cadastral system is needed in the administration of water space objects. This study aims to examine the development of Indonesian marine cadastre in terms of four the main aspects of marine cadastre, namely legal aspects, institutional aspects, technical aspects, and human resources aspects, as well as comparing the status of Indonesian marine cadastre with the marine cadastre status of other countries.. The results of this study indicate that from the legal aspect, Indonesia does not yet have a law that specifically becomes the legal basis for the application of marine cadastre in Indonesia. From the institutional aspect, it can be seen that the implementation of marine cadastre in Indonesia is still managed sectorally by ministries/agencies related to water space. Indonesia has developed technical implementation of marine cadastre in Indonesia.

Abstract

According to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea as a result of the 3rd conference (UNCLOS III) held in 1973-1982, the continental shelf is defined as an area on the seabed and subsoil that is outside the territorial sea, as long as its natural prolongation from land, to the outermost edge of the continental margin, or up to a distance of 200 nautical miles from the baselines. The coastal State may also propose a continental shelf of more than 200 nautical miles (extended continental shelf) based on the position of the foot points of the continental slope. In this study, the method for determining the position of the foot points of the continental slope begins with identifying the morphology of the slopes around the boundaries of the Exclusive Economic Zone, then based on a global bathymetry map, the coordinates of the foot points of the slope are determined, then plotted into foot of slope lines. The results of this study are 19 coordinates of points indicated as the foot of the eurapic rise slope in the southwest region of Sumatra Island, which can then be used to determine the boundaries of the extended continental shelf.Keywords: Continental shelf, Coordinate of foot of slope, Extended foot of continental slope,UNCLOS III

Abstract

The Belawan Harbor Shipping Line is the access used by ships that will dock and sail from the Belawan port. Belawan port itself is the largest port on the island of Sumatra, so many ships with large drafts enter the port. It takes a maintenance of the shipping lane by acoustic method so that the depth of the channel is maintained. The results showed that the depth of the Belawan port shipping lane was between -6 to -11 meters MSL. The depth plan that has been set by the port management is -8.5 meters MSL so that dredging of the channel is needed at several points. The results of the bathymetric data accuracy test based on the IHO S44 special order indicate that the survey still meets the tolerance. The tolerance threshold value given is 0.2617 meters and the standard deviation of the measurements in this study is 0.0480 meters. In addition, the value of the margin of error is 0.0480 meters.Keywords: Cruise line, IHO S44 Special Order, MSL, Ship draft
