Abstract

Parent Productivity in the Lakor Goat Farming Business in Rural Conditions on Lakor Island, Southwest Maluku Regency. This research was carried out in May-June 2023 in three villages, namely Letoda, Yamluli and Lolotwara villages. The method used was a survey of 30 Lakor goat breeder respondents who were determined using a simple random sampling method. The research results showed that the average weaning weight of the three sample villages, namely Yamluli Village, was 14.3kg, Lolotwara Village was 14.8kg and Letoda Village was 14.6kg; average body weight of goat kids aged 6-8 months from three sample villages, namely Yamluli Village 19.9kg, Lolotwara Village 24.3 kg and Letoda Village 23.6kg; types of forage in the form of banyan leaves, kusambi leaves and natural/field grass; the number of marriages/pregnancies from the three sample villages, namely Yamluli Village 1.5, Lolotwara Village 1.5, and Letoda Village 1.6 times, type of birth from the three sample villages was single 34.67%, twins 272% and triplets 48, 67%; litter size 3.79 tails, pre-weaning mortality 13.17%; The sex ratio of the three sample villages is Yamluli Village 2.1:2.2, Lolotwara Village 3.5-4 and 3.1:3.2 Tail Village and the lust cycle is 18-24 days. It was concluded that parent productivity in the Lakor goat farming business in rural conditions on Lakor Island, Southwest Maluku Regency is still good because even though the rearing of goats on Lakor Island is semi-intensive, the forage on Lakor Island really fulfills the livestock's needs, resulting in good productivity.

Abstract

Bayam merah merupakan sayuran yang terbilang sering dikonsumsi oleh anak –anak maupun, ibu hamil, menyusui dan kalangan lansia dengan kandungan kebaikan didalamnya sebagai antioksidan dan disentri serta membersihkan darah disertai mampu menjadi obat herbal penyakit anemia, Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dosis kompos kulit gelondong kopi dan dosis pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.), serta untuk mengetahui interaksi antara kedua faktor yang diuji cobakan, Pelaksanaan penelitian ini di Kampung Belang Jorong Kecamatan Celala, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan juli sampai agustus 2024. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Perlakuan dosis kompos kulit gelondong kopi dan dosis pupuk urea berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 15, 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam, diameter batang pada umur 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam, dan jumlah daun pada umur 15, 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam. Pemberian dosis 3,2 kg/plot (K2) dan 72 gram/plot (U2) menunjukkan yang terbaik terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman diameter batang, pertambahan jumlah daun, berat brangkasan basah per sampel dan per plot.

Abstract

This research was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Gajah Putih University, Takengon, which was carried out from 1 August 2024 to 10 August 2024. The aim of this research was to find out how much influence concentration and soaking time had on the viability of local cherry tomato seeds. The results of this research were that the concentration of bean sprout extract had a significant effect on growth potential at 5 and 10 days after sowing, wet stover weight at 5 days after sowing. The germination capacity at the age of 5 and 10 days after sowing has a very significant effect and the weight of the wet stover at the age of 10 days after sowing. The length of soaking time for bean sprout extract did not significantly affect the viability of cherry tomato seeds but tended to produce the highest growth potential, germination capacity and growth speed.

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia still often faces food problems, such as the conversion of agricultural land into industrial and residential areas which causes a decrease in rice productivity. High-quality seeds are seeds that have high germination. One of the drivers in increasing seed viability is the use of Growth Regulatory Substances (ZPT) such as those contained in young coconut water which are needed for plant development and growth. Young coconut water also contains organic compounds such as vitamin C, B vitains, auxin hormones, gibberellins and cytokinins. The experimental design used in this study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern. The factors studied were the concentration of coconut water (A) and duration of immersion in coconut water (L). The provision of young coconut water had a significant effecton growth potential, germination rate, growth speed, and growth simultaneously but had a very significant effect on the weight of the wet stover, and had no significant effect on the dry stover, weight. Abstract

The need for purple eggplant in Indonesia increases every year so that the productivity of purple eggplant itself must also be increased. Seeds that have superior quality will further support the increase in purple eggplant productivity in Indonesia. One of the drivers in increasing seed viability is the use of Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) such as those contained in tomato extract which are needed for plant development and growth. Tomato extract contains the hormones auxin, gibberellin and cytokinin. The experimental design used was a factorial design arranged in a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. The factors studied were Concentration (T) consisting of 3 factors, namely; T1 (20%), T2 (40%), T3 (60%) and Soaking time (P) consisting of 3 factors, namely; P1 (2 hours), P2 (4 hours), P3 (6 hours). The administration of tomato extract had a very significant effect on the parameters of growth potential and germination power, then had no significant effect on the parameters of growth rate and dry germination weight. The soaking time of tomato extract had a very significant effect on growth potential and germination power, then had no significant effect on the parameters of growth rate and dry germination weight. There was no significant interaction between the concentration of tomato extract and the soaking time on the viability of purple eggplant seeds in all observation parameters.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the quality of Arabica coffee beans and to determine the influence of interactions between these two factors. This research was carried out on farmers' plantations in Bener Meriah Regency which corresponds to the level of research that has been carried out. The parameters observed consisted of the weight of 1000 red fruits, the percentage of normal seeds, triangular seeds, elephant seeds, round seeds, yield and green traces. The results of the research showed that the influence of altitude and density of lamtoro naugan had a very significant effect on the weight of 1000 red fruits, triangular seeds and green beans and was significantly different for normal seeds, round seeds and yield. There was no real interaction Naugan Density in each observation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of giving doses of NPK fertilizer and vermicompost fertilizer, and to determine their interactions on the growth and yield of red bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) factorial pattern consisting of 2 treatment factors, there were 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications so that the number of experiments was 27 experimental plots. The distance between plots was 50 cm with a spacing of 30 cm x 20 cm, BASF 16 16 16 NPK fertilizer dose consisting of 3 treatments, namely: N1 : 50 grams/plot, N2: 100 grams/plot, N3: 150 grams/plot Doses of vermicompost fertilizer consisting of 3 treatments, namely: K1 : 175 grams/plot, K2: 225 grams/plot, K3: 275 grams/plot. The treatment of NPK fertilizer doses had a significant effect on plant height at 20 and 30 HST, but had a very significant effect on plant height at 40 HST, number of leaves, number of pods, seed weight per-sample and seed weight per-plot. The treatment of N2 (100 grams/plot) showed the best treatment. The dose of fertilizer treatment did not significantly affect all parameters. There was no significant interaction between the doses of NPK fertilizer and vermicompost fertilizer on the growth and yield of kidney beans.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of growth and yield of Pakcoy plants and to determine the effect of interaction between these two factors. This research was carried out in Bandar Lampahan Village, Gajah Putih District, Bener Meriah Regency with an altitude of 1272 above sea level with a pH of 7. The parameters observed consisted of from Plant Height at 7, 14 and 21 days after planting, Number of Leaves at 7, 14 and 21 days after planting, Weight Per Plant at 25 days after planting, and stover weight per plot at 25 days after planting. The results of the research showed that the use of coffee spindle shell compost and SS fertilizer had a very significant effect on the weight per plant at 25 days after planting and the weight of stover per plot at 25 days after planting. There was a very real interaction between Coffee Spindle Compost and SS Fertilizer when observing the Weight Per Plant at 25 days after planting.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kopi, mengetahui penggunaan zpt atonik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kopi serta interaksi antara pupuk urea dan pengunaan zpt atonik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dikebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gajah Putih Takengon dengan ketingian 1237 mdpl dengan pH optimum 6. Parameter yang diamati terdiri dari Tinggi Tanaman pada umur 60, 90 dan 120 hari setelah tanam, Diameter Batang pada umur 60, 90 dan 120 hari setelah tanam Jumlah Daun pada umur 60, 90 dan 120 hari setelah tanam, dan Panjang Daun pada umur 60, 90 dan 120 hari setelah tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penggunaan Pupuk Urea dan ZPT berpengaruh nyata terhadap Tinggi Tanaman pada umur 60, 90 dan 120 hari setelah tanam. Tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara Pupuk Urea dan ZPT Atonik pada setiap pengamatan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of coffee plant seedling growth and to determine the interaction effect between these two factors. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Gajah Putih University, Takengon at an altitude of 1200 above sea level with an optimum pH of 6. The parameters observed consisted of Plant Height at 30, 40 and 50 days after planting, Stem Diameter at 30, 40 and 50 days after planting, Number of Leaves at 30 and 50 days after planting, and Leaf Width at 30, 40 and 50 days after planting. 50 days after planting. The results of the research showed that the use of goat manure dosage and the time of application had a significant effect on plant height at 40 and 50 days after planting and leaf width at 50 days after planting. There was no real interaction between Goat Manure Dosage and Time of Administration in each observation.
