Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of corn seed viability and to determine the influence of interactions between these two factors. This research was carried out in the laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Gajah Putih University, Takengon at an altitude of 1237 above sea level. The parameters observed consisted of Growth Potential at 5 and 10 days after sowing, Germination Power at 5 and 10 days after sowing, Wet Stove Weight at 5 and 10 days after sowing, and Dry Stove Weight at 5 and 10 days after sowing. seedling. The results of the research showed that the soaking treatment and the location of the seeds on the cob had a significant effect on growth potential at the age of 5 and 10 days after sowing. There was no real interaction between Soaking and Seed Location on the Cob in each observation.

Abstract

Chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one of the horticultural plant commodities that is in great demand and is classified as an important vegetable commodity because it has a high economic value among the Indonesian people. Fertilization is an effort made with the aim of replacing lost nutrients and increasing the supply of nutrients needed by plants to increase plant production and quality. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) factorial pattern consisting of 3 treatment levels. The first factor is magnesium sulfate fertilizer, consisting of 3 (three) levels, namely: M1 = 36 grams / plot (4 grams / plant), M2 = 54 grams / plot (6 grams / plant), M3 = 72 grams / plot (8 grams / plant). The second factor is the dose of Mutiara NPK fertilizer consisting of 3 levels, namely: N1 = 50 grams / plot (5.5 grams / plant), N2 = 75 grams / plot (8.3 grams / plant), N3 = 100 grams / plot (11 grams / plant). Research results The treatment of magnesium sulfate and NPK fertilizer doses had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves at 20, 30 and 40 days after planting, and fruit weight per plant and per plot at 90 and 120 days after planting. The administration of a dose of 72 grams/plot (M3) and a dose of NPK 100 grams/plot (N3) showed the best results for plant growth and yield parameters. There was also a significant interaction with fruit weight per plant at 90 days after planting

Abstract

Leek plant (Allium fistulosum L.). including one type of leaf vegetable as a kitchen spice in Indonesia. This research was carried out in Linung Bulen II village, Bintang District, Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Which will take place from May to August 2024. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of Guano Fertilizer Dosage and Goat Manure Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Concentration on the growth and yield of leek plants (Allium fistulosum L.). This research used a randomized block design with a factorial pattern, which consisted of 2 factors, namely the first factor was the provision of Guano fertilizer, the second factor was goat manure POC. Consisting of 3 levels. First, Guano fertilizer dose which consists of 3 levels, namely: G1: 0 kg/plot, G1: 2 kg/plot, G2: 3.5 kg/plot, second, goat manure POC concentration which consists of 3 levels, namely: P1: 0 ml/1 liter of water, P2: 160 ml/1 liter of water, P2: 200 ml/1 liter of water. The results showed that there was a real interaction between the dose of guano fertilizer and the POC concentration of goat manure on the growth of leek plants (Allium fistulosum L.). Among other things, only the number of leaves aged 45 days after planting and the amount of wet fruit weight per plot at 75 days after planting leek plants.
