Abstract

Changes in the livelihood interests of rural communities to urban areas have become an important topic in the field of sociology and economics. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence changes in the livelihood interests of rural communities to urban areas. The research method used is observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the study show that the factors that influence the change in the livelihood interests of rural communities to cities are economic, social and psychological factors. Economic factors include better job opportunities, higher salaries, and opportunities to increase economic well-being. Social factors include the influence of friends and family already working in cities, as well as the desire to pursue an urban lifestyle. Psychological factors include the desire to seek new experiences and challenges in life. This study concludes that changes in rural community interest in livelihoods in the city are driven by a variety of complex factors. Rural communities must be provided with adequate education and training in order to compete in cities. In addition, the government must create enough jobs in rural areas to reduce migration to cities and strengthen the local economy.

Abstract

Robusta (coffea canephora) coffea becomes one of the favored commodities and is the most widely cultivated in Indonesia the purpose of this study is for (1) to discover how attributes of the product are affectted of the decision to buy robusta coffe at tasikmalaya city”s kahaji coffe shop and (2) to know which variables of the quality of the product have the most influence on the decision to buy robusta coffe at the kahaji coffe shop Tasikmalaya city. This study use the survey method or research and data collection using methods, interviews, observation and questionnaires. Up to the study of 95 respondents and was a consumer who made visits or bought coffe at the kahaji cafe, using technique samples Accidental Sampling and analysis models are using linear regression. Result in this study explain that (1) the attributes of the kahaji coffe products are both partial and simultaneously have an effect significant attribute variable on the purchase decision of kahaji coffe is the aroma variable and the price because it has a smaller value than 0,05’s 0,000.

Abstract

Making Innovative Planting Media from Unused Materials is a community service outreach activity that was carried out immediately with the Faculty of Agriculture at SMP Negeri 3 Gondang. Students are very eager to learn new material and can work on it for extended periods of time in class. With the existence of this activity, a mutualistic symbiosis between the plant faculty and the SMPN 3 Gondang was formed. SMPN 3 Gondang has the potential to be a top-notch school that combines theory and practice to teach Merdeka curriculum, even though the Faculty of Agriculture lacks a dedicated space for teaching Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). This activity will continue to be carried out in the future with different themes.

Abstract

Fertilizer is one of the main factors that determines plant productivity. One alternative fertilizer cost efficiency measure that can be taken is to increase the effectiveness of fertilizers in the field (Poeloengan et. al., 2000). The aim of fertilization in the field can be formulated in general policy as follows, the target of fertilizer application is to achieve 100% fertilizer application in the field with the correct application method and the right time of fertilization and each plant receives the amount of fertilizer according to the dose specified in the fertilizer recommendations to ensure adequate plant nutrients. and achieving high production for Producing Crops (PC) (Fathoni et. al., 2011). This research uses a descriptive analysis method regarding the costs of fertilization on high-yielding oil palm plants in Division I of Langga Payung Plantation P.T. Tapian Nadenggan. Observation indicators are data on recommendations for oil palm plant fertilization (type and dose of fertilizer in 2016-2018); Fertilization realization data for 2016-2018; Fertilization recommendations and fertilizer realization are made for a period of one year. Recommendation and realization data were analyzed using Student's t-Test at α = 5% to compare data per year. Cost of fertilizing plants producing oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) Division I Langga Payung Plantation P.T. Tapian Nadenggan is influenced by 3 components, namely: Purchase of fertilizer, transportation and wages of sowers, which is based on research data that the components of fertilizer costs in 2018 are not significantly different from the components of fertilizer costs in 2017 and 2016. Likewise, the fertilization cost component in 2017 is not significantly different from the fertilization cost component in 2016.

Abstract

Proses yellow honey merupakan proses pengolahan kopi, dimana menyisakan kulit daging yang dapat memberikan rasa manis pada kopi. Komsumsi kopi saat ini masih sangat rendah hal ini disebabkan banyaknya minuman penyegar kemasan dengan berbagai macam bentuk dan rasa. Usaha untuk meningkatkan komsumsi kopi dilakukan dengan menambahkan rempahan sebagai penambah rasa serta khasiat yang diberikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, secara kualitatif yaitu menjelaskan hasil uji organoleptik kopi arabika dengan pengolahan yellow honey. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis varian (ANAVA) dengan melihat F hitung. Pencampuran bubuk kopi yellow honey dan bubuk jahe sesuai dengan perlakuan, 48 gr kopi + 2 gr jahe, 46 gr kopi+ 4 gr jahe dan 44 gr kopi + 6 gr jahe dengan penambahan air 100 ml dengan suhu 89°C dan setiap formulasi disediakan untuk 30 cup. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji organoleptik pencampuran bubuk kopi honey dan bubuk jahe yang paling disukai panelis adalah formulasi 48 gr bubuk kopi honey + 2 gr bubuk jahe. Berdasarkan hasil ANAVA pada level signifikasi 5% (0,05) dengan F tabel (2,27), Hasil penilaian panelis terhadap semua sampel bubuk kopi honey dan bubuk jahe yaitu terdapat perbedaan signifikan rupa bentuk, warna, aroma jahe, rasa kopi, rasa pahit, kekentalan/body, aftertaste dan penerimaan keseluruhan sedangkan untuk aroma kopi, rasa jahe, rasa manis dan rasa asam tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan diperkebunan petani yang berada di Kabupaten Bener Meriah yang sesuai ketinggian. Parameter yang diamati terdiri dari berat 1000 buah merah, persentase biji normal, biji segitiga, biji gajah, biji bulat, rendemen dan trase green been. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh ketinggian tempat dan kerapatan naugan lamtoro berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap berat 1000 buah merah, biji segitiga, dan trase green been dan berbeda nyata terhadap biji normal, biji bulat dan rendemen. Tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara Ketinggian Tempat pada setiap pengamatan.

Abstract

Semakin menciutnya lahan sawah di Aceh Tengah tepatnya daerah kebayakan yang diakibatkan oleh adanya konversi lahan maka secara bersamaan akan menurunnya intensitas dan produktivitas padi local dengan melakukan suatu penelitian pemberian konsentrasi air kelapa dilakukan dalam beberapa faktor, hal ini bertujuan untuk mengamati tingkat konsentrasi yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan perkecambahan benih. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kering Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gajah Putih Takengon pada tanggal 06 November 2023 s/d 19 November 2023. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola factorial. Berdasarkan banyaknya faktor dan taraf perlakuan yang dicobakan maka diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan 36 satuan percobaan yang masing-masing terdiri atas 3 kali ulangan. Pemberian konsentrasi dan lama perendaman Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT) Alami berpengaruh nyata terhadap Potensi Tumbuh dan Kecepatan Tumbuh sedangkan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada Berat Brangkasan Basah akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap Berat Brangkasan Kering serta tidak adanya Interaksi yang nyata yang terjadi pada Viabilitas Benih Lokal (Rom Ilang). Abstract

Abstract. Arabica coffee is one of the drinks that has a delicious taste and distinctive aroma and has a positive effect on health. Furthermore, Arabica coffee is very popular with local people and the world community. The coffee roasting process has a crucial role in forming the characteristics of the taste and aroma of the coffee produced. The coffee roasting process is divided into light roasting temperatures, namely 190 ° C - 195 ° C and medium roasting temperatures of 200 ° C - 205 ° C, which greatly determines the taste to be enjoyed and is very important for the coffee processing stages. Arabica coffee in Central Aceh has great potential, but has not been identified based on the roasting level. A deep understanding of the effect of roasting levels on Arabica coffee brewing is important to meet the increasing consumer needs for high-quality coffee. Although there has been a lot of research on the coffee roasting process, there is still a need to better understand how roasting levels affect the characteristics of coffee brewing, especially Arabica coffee, especially in Central Aceh. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly from the original source through a questionnaire, this data was obtained from the panelists' responses to the assessment of coffee samples for taste testing. In other words, researchers collect data by answering research questions through a survey method, the data is then recorded in a sensory assessment form. In this study, the data was analyzed quantitatively using analysis of variance (ANOVA) by looking at the calculated F value to determine the differences between sample groups. The results of the panelists' assessment of all samples of light roast, medium roast and dark roast roast levels were significant differences, color, coffee aroma, coffee taste, bitter taste, sweet taste, sour taste, thickness/body, and overall acceptance while for appearance and aftertaste there was no significant difference

Abstract

Abstrak. Mina padi merupakan sistem pertanian terpadu yang menggabungkan budidaya padi dengan perikanan dalam satu lahan yang sama. Metode ini berpotensi meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian serta memberikan keuntungan tambahan bagi petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi internal dan eksternal mina padi di Joglo Tani serta menyusun strategi pengembangannya menggunakan analisis SWOT. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Joglo Tani memiliki keunggulan dalam kualitas sumber daya manusia, sistem irigasi yang baik, dan lokasi yang strategis. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti serangan hama, keterbatasan lahan, dan belum optimalnya teknologi yang digunakan. Dengan posisi pada kuadran I dalam analisis SWOT, strategi yang direkomendasikan adalah pertumbuhan agresif melalui optimalisasi lahan, peningkatan teknologi, serta penguatan pemasaran produk organik. Abstract

Propagation of sugarcane plants is basically done vegetatively. The success of sugarcane cuttings is inseparable from the use of growth stimulants (ZPT). Shallots, apart from containing the hormone auxin, are also known to contain the compound allithianin which functions to facilitate metabolism in plant cell tissues and can also function as a fungicide and bactericidal. This study aims to determine the effect of shallot water growth regulators and to determine the effective soaking time on the growth of shoots of sugarcane cuttings. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 4 (four) treatments and 6 repetitions so that there were 24 experimental units. The order of treatment was T0 (without soaking in shallot water), T1 (soaking in shallot water for 1 hour), T2 (soaking in shallot water for 2 hours), and T3 (soaking in shallot water for 3 hours). Parameters observed were shoot length, number of leaves and stem diameter of sugarcane cuttings. The results showed that the sugarcane cuttings after being soaked in shallot water at different times had a very significant effect on the shoot length and stem diameter of the sugarcane cuttings, and had no significant effect on the number of leaves. The best treatment was obtained at T3 (soaking for 3 hours).
