Abstract

One of the problems that existed at the Rembang Village Office was due to the vacant land which was one of the obstacles, the UPNVJ Thematic Community Service students decided to use hydroponics as a planting medium to be developed because it did not require large areas of land, as well as the tools and materials needed to make hydroponics. easy to get and how to make it easy. Mustard greens are one of the easiest plants to grow using hydroponic growing media, so we decided to plant mustard greens because of its ease of cultivation. Compared to existing planting media, hydroponic growing media has better possibilities. So that the planting medium only needs to be fertilized, watered, and occasionally cleaned. In order for the Rembang Village Office to become an example of hydroponic planting for Rembang Village residents, UPNVJ Thematic KKN students established and planted using hydroponic planting materials to optimize this.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country with one of its sub-sectors being plantations and coffee being one type of plantation crop that has long been cultivated. This has resulted in a high culture of drinking coffee resulting in an increase in coffee grounds. There are still many coffee shops/cafes that throw away coffee grounds, even though coffee grounds can still be utilized, one of which is as an organic face mask. Coffee grounds contain antioxidants that can maintain skin health, moisturize and smooth the skin. The purpose of this study is to utilize coffee grounds and reduce environmental pollution which causes the greenhouse effect and to find out how many people like organic face masks from coffee grounds and rice flour. In this study, the face mask was made with a formulation of 50% coffee grounds and 50% rice flour. The test parameters in this study are organoleptic tests of aroma, color, texture, liking, pH test and effectiveness test. The results showed an average pH value of 5.0. The average color organoleptic test was 2.52, texture 2.88, aroma 3.32 and average liking 3.2. The drying time of the mask is 15 minutes. This coffee grounds face mask is well accepted by panelists.

Abstract

Aceh Province is a province that has developed halal tourism for foreign Muslim tourists quite well compared to other regions. This can be seen from the application of a sharia-based system which has become part of the daily lifestyle of the people. The author's way of obtaining data is by reading relevant sources from documents, books, articles, magazines, news, and so on. An important effort to be made in the development of halal tourism in Aceh is the alignment of the budget towards the tourism industry. Tourism will not be successful if it is fully left to the independence of the community or letting the private sector work alone. Budget alignments are needed for the tourism industry by allocating realistic funds both for the development of infrastructure, main and supporting facilities and increasing the capacity of human resources in the field of tourism, especially halal tourism.

Abstract

Abstract: The combine harvester machine entered and was adopted by farmers in Benculuk Village in October 2020. The combine harvester machine entered Benculuk Village due to several driving factors, namely the lack of a number of harvest workers, the mobility of farm workers to other jobs, the use of a combine machine that is more practical and efficient, the yield cleaner and more optimal, and farmers keep abreast of existing trends. Because after the introduction of the combine harvester machine it has been proven to be able to provide benefits for farmers including being able to minimize the level of crop loss, increase crop production, improve the quality of rice yields, and efficiency in the use of costs, time and energy expended. The purpose of this study was to examine the description of the rationality of farmers in Benculuk Village after the combine harvester machine was introduced. This study uses the theory of rational farmers from Samuel L. Popkin (1986). The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Where the research location is in Benculuk Village, Cluring District, Banyuwangi Regency. The findings from this study after the introduction of the combine harvester machine to farmers in Benculuk Village changed the life order of the farmers who used it. The changes that are felt have an impact on changes in civilization, namely changes in the technological machines used by farmers when they go to paddy fields. Ecological changes that make paddy soil more muddy and watery. Economic changes, namely farmers are more profitable, as well as changes in the social life of landowners and farm workers. After the introduction of the combine harvester machine in Benculuk Village, it shows that the farmers there have become rational farmers who lead to capitalism.
