Abstract

Zakat management in Indonesia is one of the interesting things to be studied in order to alleviate poverty and improve the welfare of the community, this can be seen from the potential IDR 217 trillion national charity but only reached about IDR 1.5 trillion. Factors affecting the collection of zakat in Indonesia is the level of trust muzaki against Zakat Organisation (OPZ) that in this study is a Zakat Collector Unit (UPZ), muzaki option to distribute zakat directly to mustahik individually, lack of knowledge of the mechanisms muzaki charity, and the lack of muzaki knowledge of the existence of UPZ. To address this problem, we need an information system that can organize management processes that occur in the management of UPZ-based charity, especially mosque-based UPZ, the mosque as a base because of it religious activities in the community. The method used is the analysis to direct UPZ location and design of the interface, rules, and prototype. From this study produced an Integrated UPZ and BAZNAS Tasikmalaya City Information Systems using web technologies.

Abstract

The information in in the audit report of local government financial statement (LHP LKPD) was not managed digitally. The information in LHP from 33 provinces has just accumulate in a place without next process to take its main information. The absence of information searching application inhibit the learning process of the existing reports in advance. Therefore, an application can extract information from a set of LHP documents are needed to get main information, called criteria, consequence, cause, response, and audit advice. This research creates a tool to extract the information in the audit report of local government financial statement (LHP LKPD). Information extraction method that used in this research is rule-based classification and pre-processing method that used is POS Tagging. The objective of information extraction in this research finds some sections in audit finding (Temuan Pemeriksaan-TP) that are criteria, consequence, cause, response, and audit advice. The accuracy of training and test data are 98,27% and 89,77%. Decrease accuracy caused by usage of pdf2text that do not give a convertible identical between the input and output data, and usage of wordmatch method for classification.

Abstract

In dividing assignment, manager is not recommended to make decision with only intuition and experience, but must be based on facts. The problem is the fact-based decisions will be long or difficult to do with conventional ways. Therefore, Decision Support Systems (DSS) is needed. In DSS, providing advice should be more than one option so that manager can choose the bestoption. However, commercial applications for assignment cases in operation research can only provide one optimal solution. Besides, commercial applications cannot handle assessment process that has specific criteria, such as Microsoft Excel and WinQSB. The theory used in thisapplication was assignment method. The study implementation used waterfall model in System Development Life Cycle method. The study results show that the application can produce optimal solutions more than one option if possible so that it repairs the lack of commercial applications in operation research. Thisapplication can also give solution for any assignments accurately and comprehensively because it can handle assignment assessment that has spesific criteria.

Abstract

Currently there are no alternative materials other than text book teaching entrepreneurship. In this study the authors will mengembangankan interactive multimedia teaching materials entrepreneurship in vocational class X as an alternative teaching materials entrepreneurship. The Interactive Multimedia Instructional Materials using the Problem Based Learning approach in the form of learning method that uses problems as a first step in collecting and integrating new knowledge based on experience . Where the Problem Based Learning approach will be built in the form of interactive multimedia using Macromedia Flash MX . Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network has some weaknesses, such as limited power, memory and communication. Sensor is supplied with a very limited power batery. Besides, Wireless Sensor Network should also consider the available bandwidth, range sensor and sensor communication range. The main objective of this study is to analyze the performance of linear demodulation named Zero Forcing (ZF) and Minimum Mean Squared Error (MMSE) in wireless sensor network using Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) system with Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER) as the parameter to measure the performance of endurance to noise. The application of ZF and MMSE linear demodulation with MIMO configuration to Wireless Sensor Network is constantly good, the performance of ZF to reach BER 10-3 needed SNR 21 dB, while the performance of MMSE to reach BER 10-3 needed SNR 18 dB.

Abstract

Cervical cancer has became the common women disease in the world. Mostly, cervical cancer has been already known lately, because it is very dificult to detect this in early stage. In this work, a computer based software using Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) has been designed as the early cervical cancer detection aid tool. There are six methods before the detection is performed, namely preprocessing, contrast stretching, median filtering, morphology operation, image segmentation, and Discrete Cosine Transform based feature extraction. In tihis work, 73 cervical cell images that consist of 50 normal images and 23 cancer images are used. 35 normal images and 14 cancer images are used to train the LVQ. Then, 23 normal images and 9 cancer images are used in the testing process. Our results show 88,89 % cancer image can be detected correctly (sensitivity), 100 % normal image can be detected corerctly (specificity), and 95,83 % for overall detection (accuracy).

Abstract

This paper discusses the efficient and accurate implementation of the discrete Haar Wavelet Transform (HWT) by selection of the best fit filter bank structure and data format. There are three filter bank structures including one polyphase and two lattice filter bank structure and also three data formats including two fixed point and one single precision floating point data format which are used in implementation of discrete Haar wavelet transform are discussed in relation with the using of FPGA resources. Beside that this paper also discuss about the effect of decomposition level on utilization of FPGA resources. The decomposition level is varied from 1st to 6th level and then its effect on the FPGA resources will be observed. The implementation of the Haar wavelet transform is performed on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Xilinx Spartan-3E and it is intended for processing of voice signals. By using the lattice filter bank structure and fixed-point data format, the implementation of Haar Wavelet Transform with six decomposition levels only require 5% of FPGA’s slice and give accuracy 98.9%.

Abstract

Rice farmers in agricultural business experiences many obstacles in field, particularly pest attack. The farmers currently use pesticides to control brown planthoppers. Pesticides are chemicals which are very harmful and toxic to human, natural predator, and environment. Planthoppers are attracted to light; thus, a mechanical device which was supported with lamp and shuck had been constructed to attract planthoppers. The method used was a designed device using solid work. The hardware and software was designed in brown planthoppers controller in order to monitor the input of censor which was used to be analyzed and transmitted to the sucking motor driver. The device was tested in the laboratory and the field. Results of laboratory test showed that brown plant hoppers controller worked properly. The device responded input from three censors and was able to suck up the Styrofoam cuts. Results of field test indicated that the device using white LEDs captured 149 animals; blue LED captured 148 animals; red LED captured 115 animals; green LED captured 72 animals; and yellow LED captured 66 animals.

Abstract

A problem that often encountered in sources voltage especially DC (Direct Current) voltage sources are far below the working voltage levels that are generally used in residential electrical grid system. To handling the problems of the DC voltage source, one way that can be taken is to implement a DC voltage converter circuit or DC-DC Converter. In this paper, a series of isolated type DC-DC Converters, namely Push-Pull Converter, is being promoted. The Selection of Push-Pull Converter based on reliability and quality of generated power among others, ease of applicability and the most important is the robustness of the interference that may occur. The system is controlled by a simple linear controller, such as Proportional Integral (PI) controller or Integral Proportional (IP) controller. System’s stability is also tested using Bode plots. From simulation results and stability analysis, it can be conclude that the Push-Pull converter circuit resists against disturbance.

Abstract

Research has been conducted to study the Windbelt as electrical generators. This research aims to study the aspect ratio of the ribbon to the ribbon flutter, the influence of stress to flutter frequency, the influence of windspeed to induction voltage, the effect of wind speed on the amplitude, wind speed relationship to flutter frequency, wind speed relationship to the power of wind belt . The results show that the higger aspect ratio required lower wind speed to flutter. Test results wind belt frequency with a fixed force of 5.88 N and wind speed 3m / s to 5.5 m / s indicates the value of fixed frequency ( 111 ± 0.2 ) Hz . This fact shows the standing wave by fluttering ribbon following the Melde’s law. Amplitude ribbons flutter initially increases with increasing wind speed, but eventually almost constant amplitude. This occurs because the elastic force who against the aerodynamic force was proportional with amplitude, so that the amplitude is fixed. Wind belt electric voltage generated increases with increasing wind speed. Wind belt electrical power is directly proportional to the wind speed.
