Abstract

Kapringan Village, Krangkeng District, Indramayu Regency, as part of a rural community subject to ongoing social and economic dynamics, is not insulated from the problem of crime. Crime in rural areas is a social phenomenon influenced by various factors and requires an active role from the village government — particularly the village head — in maintaining public order and security. This research aims to determine the role of the village head from a criminological perspective in the prevention and control of criminal acts in Kapringan Village, Krangkeng District, Indramayu Regency. The issues examined include the factors that cause crime and the efforts made by the village head in preventing and addressing crime within the area, viewed through a criminological lens. The research employs a qualitative approach that describes the reality of crime in Kapringan Village, utilizing an empirical legal research framework from a criminological perspective, with data gathered through interviews and field observations as well as relevant laws, regulations, and literature. The findings reveal that the factors contributing to crime in Kapringan Village include economic hardship, low levels of education, unemployment, the influence of the social environment, and weak legal awareness within the community. The village head's efforts in preventing and addressing crime encompass coordination with security forces (TNI, Polri) and community leaders, environmental security coaching, legal counseling, and community empowerment through social and economic activities. This research is expected to offer insights for village heads and government officials in fostering public security and order in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Abstract

Patient safety culture is a critical component of healthcare quality, yet interprofessional collaboration remains challenging in complex inpatient environments. Team huddles—brief, structured interprofessional meetings—have emerged as a promising intervention to enhance communication, teamwork, and safety awareness among healthcare staff. This systematic review aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of interprofessional team huddles in improving patient safety culture in inpatient wards, identify the most affected safety culture dimensions, and examine implementation barriers and facilitators. Following PRISMA guidelines, databases including SciSpace, Google Scholar, and PubMed were searched for studies published between 2010 and 2024. Eligible studies involved inpatient settings, interprofessional huddle interventions, assessment of patient safety culture using validated or qualitative methods, and reporting of implementation factors. From 248 records, 24 studies met inclusion criteria after screening. Study designs included mixed-methods, quasi-experimental, qualitative, randomized controlled trials, and reviews across diverse hospital settings. Findings indicate that huddle interventions consistently improved safety culture, particularly teamwork within units, communication openness, psychological safety, and organizational learning. Effect sizes ranged from small to moderate, with most studies reporting statistically significant improvements. Key facilitators included leadership support, structured protocols, interprofessional engagement, and protected time. Major barriers involved time constraints, hierarchical cultures, staff resistance, and limited training. Overall, interprofessional team huddles are an effective strategy for strengthening patient safety culture, though successful implementation depends on strong organizational commitment and addressing contextual barriers.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of digital technologies has fundamentally reshaped service delivery across the global tourism and hospitality sector. While an expanding body of literature addresses individual aspects of this transformation, the field still lacks a comprehensive synthesis that simultaneously maps dominant technology categories, examines prevailing methodological orientations, and critically analyzes implementation challenges across diverse tourism contexts, particularly in developing economies. This study addressed that gap through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 63 peer-reviewed documents retrieved from the Scopus database (2015–2025). Documents were screened using the PRISMA protocol with explicit inclusion and exclusion criteria covering publication period, language, document type, thematic relevance, and methodological quality. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer (version 1.6.20) and the RStudio Bibliometrix package. Three research questions guided the synthesis: (RQ1) which technology categories dominate the literature; (RQ2) what methodological approaches characterize this field; and (RQ3) what challenges and best-practice solutions are associated with technology adoption. The findings reveal four dominant themes: (1) artificial intelligence, IoT, and smart technologies as drivers of operational efficiency and personalized service; (2) mobile applications and online platforms reshaping booking behavior within a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework; (3) persistent barriers, including digital literacy gaps, data privacy concerns, and employee resistance, which are especially pronounced in SME-dominated and developing-country contexts; and (4) COVID-19 as a structural accelerant of contactless and automated service delivery. The study’s novelty lies in its cross-cutting synthesis, integrating technology classification, methodological critique, and challenge analysis while foregrounding the underexplored context of developing tourism economies. Theoretically, this review advances digital tourism literature by identifying boundary conditions of TAM and proposing an integrated analytical framework for future research. Practically, the findings provide actionable guidance for tourism managers, destination management organizations, and policymakers navigating digital transformation.

Abstract

This research aims to support strategic decision-making in determining the most optimal development scenario for the KYM gas structure through an integrated analytical approach. The research identifies internal and external factors influencing development feasibility, translates stakeholder values into decision criteria, and systematically evaluates alternative scenarios. The method combined qualitative and quantitative approaches through PESTEL analysis, SWOT analysis, Value-Focused Thinking (VFT), and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Primary data were obtained through surveys, semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and stakeholder mapping, while secondary data were derived from internal company documents, regulations, technical studies, and academic literature. The results of the environmental analysis were used to formulate fundamental objectives, means objectives, criteria, and sub-criteria for evaluation that align with strategic priorities and stakeholder expectations. The alternative development scenarios were then evaluated using AHP pairwise comparisons, accompanied by consistency ratio testing and sensitivity analysis. The findings indicate that Alternative 1, namely the production flow from KYM-B and KYM-C wells through the construction of a new flowline integrated with existing production toward the Randegan Gathering Station with facility upgrades, is the most optimal scenario. This alternative is superior because it provides a balanced performance across economic, technical-operational, regulatory-environmental, implementation risk, and stakeholder alignment aspects. The sensitivity analysis shows that the selected alternative remains robust against changes in criteria weights, with the project approval target in the second quarter of 2026 and onstream target in the fourth quarter of 2028.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify feasible hydrogen supply alternatives and determine the most suitable strategic option for PT Energi Nasional X. To achieve this objective, the research employed an integrated analytical framework consisting of SWOT–TOWS analysis, the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM), and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). SWOT–TOWS analysis was used to identify internal strengths and weaknesses as well as external opportunities and threats, which were then translated into feasible strategic alternatives. The FDM was applied to validate the relevance of evaluation criteria and obtain expert consensus from subject matter experts (SMEs). Finally, AHP was used as the primary multi-criteria decision-making method to determine criteria weights, evaluate alternatives through pairwise comparisons, and generate a final ranking of alternatives in a structured and consistent manner. The FDM analysis validated eight main evaluation criteria, namely capital expenditure (CAPEX), operating expenditure (OPEX), net present value (NPV), equipment reliability, supply continuity, H? quality/purity assurance, implementation risk, and operability and maintainability. The AHP results indicated that equipment reliability, net present value (NPV), and supply continuity were the most influential criteria in determining the preferred hydrogen supply strategy. The final AHP ranking showed that the New Plant alternative achieved the highest global priority score compared with the Revitalization and External Procurement alternatives. Although the New Plant option required the highest initial investment cost, it provided superior long-term operational reliability, stronger supply continuity, better process control, and improved operational independence from external suppliers. A sensitivity analysis was also conducted to evaluate the robustness of the decision model under various weighting scenarios. The results showed that the ranking of alternatives remained stable despite changes in criteria weights, indicating that the decision model is robust and reliable for supporting strategic investment decisions. Based on the overall analysis, this study concluded that the development of a new hydrogen plant is the most appropriate and sustainable hydrogen supply strategy for PT Energi Nasional X. The selected alternative offers the best balance between financial value, operational reliability, risk management, and long-term business sustainability, while supporting continuous polypropylene production and strengthening the competitiveness of PT ONE ENERGY.

Abstract

This study addressed the strategic need to improve cooling tower reliability at PT KPI, where an aging timber structure had experienced progressive deterioration due to prolonged exposure to moisture, chemical effects, biological degradation, and continuous operational loading. As the cooling tower supports cooling water circulation and power generation processes, its failure could disrupt refinery operations and result in significant operational and financial impacts. The purpose of this research was to determine the most appropriate maintenance and improvement strategy by integrating stakeholder expectations with technical, operational, financial, and implementation considerations. This study employed a mixed-method approach involving semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, field observations, document reviews, Value-Focused Thinking (VFT), the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Cost–Benefit Analysis (CBA). The results showed that operational continuity was the most important criterion, followed by technical reliability, economic performance, implementation constraints, and maintainability. Three alternatives were evaluated: constructing a new reinforced concrete cooling tower, revitalizing the existing timber structure, and replacing structural components with a Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) system. The AHP synthesis identified timber revitalization as the most preferred alternative, with the highest global priority score and the strongest cost–benefit value. Sensitivity analysis confirmed that this ranking remained stable across all evaluated scenarios. The study concluded that phased timber revitalization was the most feasible strategy for enhancing cooling tower reliability while maintaining refinery operational continuity.

Abstract

Model menjelaskan 11,13% variasi performa akademik (R² = 0,11).
