Abstract

Introduction: The low awareness and practice of Menstrual Hygiene Management in adolescent girls results in a negative impact on reproductive health. Blended Learning is used as a learning and health education method in the digital revolution era. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of menstrual hygiene management with flex model learning and station rotation blended learning on the perception and behavior of personal hygiene during menstruation in adolescent girls. Method: This was a true-experimental study with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two intervention groups and one control group, each with 34 respondents. The sampling method used simple random sampling and a questionnaire as the measuring instrument. The statistical test used a paired sample t-test with an ? value of <0.05. Result And Analysis: There is a significant influence between before and after menstrual hygiene intervention with flex model learning with a correlation value of 0.399 (moderate correlation relationship) and menstrual hygiene management intervention with station blended learning with a correlation value of 0.739 (very strong correlation relationship) on the perception of personal hygiene during menstruation in adolescent girls. There is a significant influence between before and after menstrual hygiene management with flex model learning with a correlation value of 0.559 (strong correlation relationship) and menstrual hygiene management intervention with station blended learning with a correlation value of 0.843 (very strong correlation relationship) on personal hygiene behavior during menstruation in adolescent girls. Conclusion: Health education using the blended learning method is expected to raise awareness and improve Menstrual Hygiene Management practices among adolescent girls.

Abstract

According to data collected by the Ministry of Health, negative growth in the number of nurses at regional hospitals (-3.9%) and at RSS (-10.3%) occurred in 2022-2023. This indicates a problem with nurse engagement. The purpose of this study was to find strategies to improve nurse engagement in government and private hospitals. The population of nurses at government hospitals was 158 respondents. The population of nurses at private hospitals was 154 respondents. This study used survey methods, comparative analysis, regression analysis, and qualitative analysis. The results of the study found that there is a significant positive direct effect of Perceived Organization Support on the engagement of nurses in government hospitals, there is a significant positive direct effect of Servant Leadership on the engagement of nurses in government hospitals, there is a positive influence of perceived organization support and servant leadership, simultaneously on the engagement of nurses in government hospitals, there is a significant positive direct effect of Perceived Organization Support on the engagement of nurses in private hospitals, there is a significant positive direct effect of Servant Leadership on the engagement of nurses in private hospitals, there is an insignificant difference in the influence of engagement on perceived organization support between nurses in government hospitals and private hospitals, there is an insignificant difference in the influence of engagement on servant leadership between nurses in government hospitals and private hospitals.

Abstract

Employee engagement merupakan faktor strategis dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan keberlanjutan organisasi. Dalam kerangka Job Demands–Resources, beban kerja (workload) dipandang sebagai tuntutan kerja yang berpotensi menurunkan engagement, sedangkan emotional quotient (EQ) berperan sebagai sumber daya personal yang dapat meningkatkan atau melindungi keterikatan kerja karyawan. Namun, temuan empiris terkait hubungan ketiga variabel tersebut masih menunjukkan hasil yang beragam. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional analitik. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 karyawan PT Utama System yang diperoleh melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire–Short Form (TEIQue-SF), dan NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), kemudian dianalisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson, Spearman, serta regresi moderasi dengan SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa emotional quotient tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement (p=0,093). Workload juga tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement (p=0,670). Selain itu, EQ tidak terbukti memoderasi hubungan antara workload dan employee engagement (p=0,111). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pada karyawan PT Utama System, employee engagement tidak secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh EQ maupun workload. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor lain di luar variabel psikologis dan tuntutan kerja, seperti faktor organisasi atau kompensasi, kemungkinan lebih dominan dalam membentuk engagement karyawan.

Abstract

This study develops and empirically tests an integrative model examining the influence of psychosocial factors and religious values on sustainability perceptions and tourist visit attractiveness in Indonesian tourism destinations. Grounded in the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Value-Belief-Norm Theory (VBN), the model integrates tourist attitudes, social norms, and religious values as key antecedents shaping perceptions of sustainability, which subsequently influence visit intentions. Data were collected through a survey of 1,014 domestic tourists who had previously visited sustainable tourism destinations across Indonesia. The analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess structural relationships among latent variables and to examine the mediating role of sustainability perceptions. The results indicate that all hypothesized relationships are statistically significant, with sustainability perceptions demonstrating a strong mediating effect between attitudes, social norms, religious values, and visit attractiveness. These findings highlight the critical role of spiritual and social dimensions in shaping tourists’ evaluations and preferences toward sustainable tourism destinations. The study contributes theoretically by extending the applicability of TPB and VBN frameworks within the sustainable tourism context. Practically, the findings offer strategic insights for destination managers and policymakers to incorporate value-based and religiously informed approaches in developing and promoting sustainable tourism destinations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Typhoid fever, caused by Salmonella typhi, remains a significant endemic infection in developing countries. While its gastrointestinal and systemic symptoms are well known, liver abscess as a complication is exceedingly rare. This case report highlights the clinical significance of recognizing atypical presentations, particularly in resource-limited settings with common delayed diagnosis. The condition arises from hematogenous spread of Salmonella typhi in delayed or untreated cases, leading to localized hepatic infection and abscess formation. This descriptive case report documents this rare complication. A 19-year-old male presented with persistent high-grade fever, malaise, headache, and right upper quadrant abdominal pain, plus a history of hematochezia. Examination revealed fever, anemic conjunctivae, and hepatomegaly. Labs showed leukocytosis with neutrophilia, microcytic anemia, elevated liver enzymes, and positive fecal occult blood. The TUBEX TF test was reactive for IgM against Salmonella typhi. Abdominal ultrasonography and contrast-enhanced CT confirmed a solitary liver abscess. Initial ceftriaxone monotherapy yielded limited response; significant improvement followed added intravenous metronidazole. Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between millennial leadership, organizational culture, and employee performance, with job satisfaction acting as a mediating factor. The study focuses on the hotel industry, which faces increasing competition and rapid changes, particularly in leadership and work culture. While previous research has examined the effects of corporate culture and millennial leadership on employee performance and job satisfaction, none have investigated job satisfaction as a mediator in this context. The study involved 201 hotel employees from various businesses in Jakarta, using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that all variables significantly impact the hypotheses. Job satisfaction was found to mediate the relationship between organizational culture and millennial leadership, both of which positively affect employee performance. The study concludes that millennial leadership can enhance employee job satisfaction, improve organizational culture, and boost employee performance. Effective leadership and organizational culture strategies are essential for improving work conditions and increasing job satisfaction, ultimately enhancing employee performance in the hotel industry.

Abstract

Rosa damascena flowers are one of the rose species with abundant phytochemical content and have been extensively studied for their potential biological and pharmacological activities. Rosa damascena petals contain both volatile and non-volatile components. The main volatile compounds include ?-citronellol, geraniol, nerol, and phenylethyl alcohol (PEA), which play important roles in providing antispasmodic, vasorelaxant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antidepressant effects. The non-volatile constituents consist of flavonoids and phenolics, which possess strong antioxidant activity. The organic acids and fatty acids contained in Rosa damascena petal extract also provide antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, and tissue regeneration effects. The vitamin content in this extract also strengthens antioxidant activity, maintains skin health, and accelerates wound healing. In vitro, in vivo, and clinical studies on Rosa damascena petal extract show broad pharmacological effects, ranging from antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, analgesic, sedative, neuroprotective, anticancer, and regenerative. The combination of bioactive compounds contained in Rosa damascena petals demonstrates the high potential of Rosa damascena in the development of pharmacology, cosmetics, and phytochemical-based therapies.

Abstract

Pregnancy-related carpal tunnel syndrome (PRCTS) merupakan salah satu keluhan neuro-muskuloskeletal yang sering terjadi selama kehamilan. Hanya berkisar 9.5% kasus PRCTS yang mendapatkan terapi khusus selama kehamilan. Kasus PRCTS yang tidak tertangani dengan tepat, akan dapat menyebabkan komplikasi selama dan pasca melahirkan.  Pencarian literatur dilakukan dari bulan Juni–Juli 2025 menggunakan pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines dengan mesin pencarian berupa Pubmed, Science Direct, Google Schoolar. Kriteria inklusi meliputi; naskah yang terpublisasi tahun 2010–2025, subjek penelitian ibu hamil tanpa riwayat CTS dan kelainan neuro-muskuloskeletal lainnya, dan melakukan diagnosis, derajat keparahan, dan kualitas hidup pasien berdasarkan instrument yang jelas. Terdapat delapan studi cross-sectional, dan empat studi cohort yang disertakan dalam telaah sistematik ini. Insiden PRCTS adalah 11% - 55.4% dan lebih sering ditemukan pada kehamilan trimester tiga. Gejala yang dilaporkan adalah kesemutan, kebas, nyeri, yang bersifat bilateral. Derajat keparahan PRCTS umumnya disebutkan ringan hingga sedang. Pasien dengan PRCTS memiliki gangguan tidur dan aktivitas sehari – hari. Gejala PRCTS dalam menetap dalam 6-12 bulan pasca melahirkan. Perubahan hormonal, musculoskeletal, dan postural, merupakan beberapa kondisi yang umum terjadi selama kehamilan. Perubahan tersebut akan menyebabkan fluktuasi hormon, dan retensi cairan, yang berakibat pada edema lokal serta restriksi struktur dari terowongan carpal. Berdasarkan telaah sistematik ini, CTS merupakan kondisi yang sering ditemui dan kurang diperhatikan pada kehamilan. Skrining gejala PRCTS dapat dilakukan untuk memaksimalkan tatalaksana, dan mencegah terjadinya komplikasi anatomis, fisiologis, maupun psikologis pada ibu pasca melahirkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, organizational culture, and motivation on the job satisfaction of assistant expenditure treasurers at PTNBH University. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The research sample consisted of 120 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, which was tested for validity and reliability before use. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study indicate that (1) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (2) organizational culture has a positive effect on job satisfaction; and (3) motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, these three independent variables contribute significantly to the job satisfaction of assistant expenditure treasurers. These findings emphasize the importance of participatory leadership practices, strengthening organizational culture, and motivation-enhancing strategies in creating job satisfaction for administrative employees in the PTNBH environment.

Abstract

Notaris ialah seorang pejabat publik yang memperoleh atribusi wewenang dari aturan dalam menyusun dan menetapkan akta yang bersifat otentik. Keaslian serta kuatnya dari bukti akta otentik hanya dapat tercapai apabila proses pembuatannya dilakukan berkaitan dengan aturan yang ada. Atas dasar itu, notaris dituntut melakukan jabatannya dengan baik, berintegritas, bertanggung jawab, serta berpegang teguh pada aturan yang ada. Satu dari banyak prinsip fundamental yang harus diterapkan dalam praktik kenotariatan adalah prinsip kehati-hatian, karena pengabaian terhadap prinsip ini berpotensi menimbulkan rugi bagi yang menghadap. Apabila kerugian terjadi, notaris bisa dimintai pertanggungjawaban dalam bentuk sanksi administratif, tanggung jawab perdata, bahkan pertanggungjawaban pidana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaturan perlindungan hukum bagi notaris dalam pembuatan akta menurut hukum positif Indonesia; (2) bentuk pertanggungjawaban perdata notaris berdasarkan UUJN dan KUHPerdata; serta (3) konsekuensi hukum terhadap notaris apabila akta yang dibuat mengandung cacat yuridis dan merugikan pihak penghadap. Penelitian berdasar pada metode yuridis normatif dengan bertumpu pada bahan hukum utama serta sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hukum notaris diatur dalam UUJN melalui mekanisme Majelis Kehormatan Notaris dan Ikatan Notaris Indonesia. Pertanggungjawaban perdata notaris didasarkan pada Pasal 1365 KUHPerdata tentang perbuatan melawan hukum, dengan syarat adanya kesalahan, kerugian, dan hubungan kausalitas. Konsekuensi hukum yang timbul meliputi degradasi kekuatan pembuktian akta dan kewajiban ganti rugi.
