Abstract

PT. Taubah Jaya Abadi is a company who production of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) with the Destine brand, producing 220 ml cups, 250 ml and 600 ml bottles, and 19 liter gallons. The highest problems occurred in 220 ml cup packaging products, namely reduced product volume, dented cups, slanted lids, leaky lids, and trimming. Purpose of this study was to determine the level of DPMO defects and sigma values for the factors that cause product defects. Method used six sigma with the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) stages. Results showed that the causes of product defects came from 5 causes of human factors, 9 causes of machine factors, 5 causes of method factors, 6 causes of material factors, and 1 causes of environmental factors. Proposed improvements using the FMEA method, inspection of of raw materials sample and operator training on operating process the equipment and workings.

Abstract

Pada saat ini proses permesinan semakin banyak menggunakan inser tip sebagai pengganti alat potong pejal. Hal ini dilakukan karena banyak keuntungan yang didapat antara lain tidak dibutuhkan lagi pengasahan, waktu henti mesin lebih sedikit, laju pemotongan material lebih tinggi, biaya penggerindaan tidak ada, harga insert tip lebih murah daripada brazed tip, laju produksi lebih tinggi, penggantian sisi yang sudah tumpul dapat dilakukan dengan cepat dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan percobaan untuk membandingkan kualitas permukaan dari insert tip kotak dan oktagonal dengan material yang sama yakni cemented carbide yaitu tipe YBC301 dan YBG202 dari merek yang sama yakni ZCC-CT. Kedua cutting tool tersebut digunakan untuk proses face milling dengan material baja karbon sedang CK45. Parameter permesinan yang digunakan adalah kecepatan putar 900 rpm, laju pemakanan 300 mm/min sedangkan kedalaman pemakanan (DOC) divariasikan 0,5 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm dan 3mm. Hasil yang didapatkan kualitas permukaan yang dihasilkan insert tip oktagonal secara umum lebih baik dari pada tipe kotak. Pada tipe kotak semakin besar DOC semakin baik kualitas permukaan yang dihasilkan sedangkan pada tipe oktagonal semakin besar DOC semakin berkurang kualitas permukaan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Health examinations are a program held by Muhammadiyah A.R. Fachruddin University. One of the health check activities carried out was a free health check in the context of the regional musda and the inauguration of the muhamamadiyah regional management of tangerang regency. There are no guidelines or guidelines used in preparing the parts in the health examination room. The layout is still based on space availability without paying attention to the level of importance of the relationship between parts. The method used in preparing the free health examination layout is the activity relationship chart (ARC) assisted by BLOCPLAN software and followed by simulation using promodel. From the simulation, it is known that the utilization of the tension room is 79,87 and the utilization of the gcu room is 79,56.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTPT. XYZ is a company engaged in industrial gas, gas installation, tank / iso tank service, and various kinds of equipment related to industrial gas. Based on the source of the report data from thesection, workshop there is a fabrication process for industrial gas installations which often occurs in defects in the welding process which often results in failure in welding tests. The cause of welding defects can be due to incorrect welding procedures, inadequate preparation and can also be caused by equipment and consumables that do not meet standards. So, based on this, a research with the title. "Analysis of Mechanical Properties of Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) onMaterial Stainlees Steel 304 with Variation of Heat Input using themethod NDT at PT. XYZ. The test method that is often carried out at PT CYZ is themethod non-destructive test (NDT) using dye penetrant. Therefore, the method used in this research is the dye penetrant test. This welding test will not damage the results of the weld so that the welding defects that occur can be seen clearly and can be repaired. The purpose of NDT activities include detecting defects or discontinuity (above the surface, below the surface, and within a material), to measure the geometry of objects, and determine the chemical composition of the material. The result of this research is that the heat input of each specimen is influenced by the factors of current, voltage and welding speed. This is related to the welding speed on each specimen, where the welding speed is influenced by the welding time. Specimens given the highest current input have less welding time, this is because the process of melting filler metal and base matal is faster when compared to giving a low current input. It can be seen in specimens A and C in this study that welding defects have occurred, this occurs because the welding current welding process must be adjusted to what stages will be carried out, because each welding stage has a different seam thickness.  Keyword: Stainless steel 304, GTAW, Heat Input, NDT Dye Pentrant Test

Abstract

The quality of human resources is one of the factors to increase the productivity of a company's performance, so companies need to assess employee performance to find out how they are carrying out their duties. Problems that occur at PT. Smart Solution Bekasi is an employee performance assessment process that is carried out subjectively so that it is still difficult to determine the best employee performance. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method is used as a support for decision making which can simplify an existing problem so that it can speed up the decision making process. Based on the results of the calculation process that has been carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, it is obtained that the priority order of the main criteria in selecting employee performance appraisals is the attendance criterion with a value of 0.6169, in second place is the speed criterion with a value of 0.0564 and in third place is the tardiness criterion with a value of 0.0554 as well as for fourth place is the work results criterion with a value of 0.2703.Keywords : Decision Support System, Analytical Hierarchy Process
