Abstract

Penggunaan dan permintaan terhadap tanaman obat tradisional saat ini semakin bertambah sehingga penelitian ke arah obat-obatan tradisional juga semakin meningkat. Salah satu tanaman yang berkhasiat sebagai obat yaitu bawang mekah (Eleutherine americana Merr.). Tanaman ini biasanya digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat tradisional untuk mengobati berbagai penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan dari daun bawang mekah. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil) yang diawali dengan ekstraksi secara maserasi. Simplisia daun bawang mekah (150 g) direndam dengan etanol 70% selama 3x24 jam pada suhu kamar. Ekstrak etanol cair yang diperoleh diuapkan dengan rotary evaporator dan dipekatkan menggunakan waterbath sehingga diperoleh ekstrak kental. Kemudian terhadap ekstrak dilakukan skrining fitokimia serta uji pendahuluan dengan metode DPPH secara kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) dengan fase gerak BAA (4:1:5). Aktivitas antioksidan diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis dan dibandingkan dengan vitamin C. Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan ekstrak mengandung senyawa flavonoid, saponin, fenol dan tanin. Pada uji pendahuluan menggunakan KLT, diperoleh 3 spot yang divisualisasi dengan sinar UV 366 nm dan disemprot dengan DPPH 0,2%. Ketiga spot menunjukkan perubahan warna kuning dengan latar belakang ungu yang menandakan ekstrak positif memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Hasil pengukuran secara spektrofotometri menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak mempunyai IC50 pada 31,97437 µg/ml, sedangkan vitamin C memiliki nilai IC50 yang lebih rendah (3,90186 µg/ml).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dari mana sumber mata air yang digunakan Depot RR QUA, SPDP-99, ARAYA, Dan CACA WATER untuk diolah menjadi air minum Isi ulang, lalu apakah ada penerapan CPB pada depot air minum RR QUA, SPDP-99, ARAYA, Dan CACA WATER Dan apakah ada pencemaran bakteri Escherichia coli pada produksi air minum di sejumlah depot air minum isi ulang di Kecamatan Tembilahan Hulu.

Abstract

L-Arginine is a semi essential amino acid and has a function in arterial vascular relaxation and improves blood flow. Single-bulb black garlic was produced from ordinary single-bulb garlic clove by process from maillard browning at temperature at 700C and 95Y of humidity controlled room for a month. It is known that single-bulb black garlic has benefits as antidiabetes, uric acid, cholesterol, hypertension, endurance and others. This study aims to determine the content of L-Arginine compound on single-bulb garlic and single-bulb black garlic by using HPLC (High Performance Liguid Chromatography)method.The mobile phase used consists of buffer A and buffer B. Buffer A consists of Na-Acetate (pH 6.5), Na-EDTA, Methanol, and Tetrahidrofuran. While B buffer consists of Methanol and Water Pro Injection. Thermo Scientific Column ODS-2 Hyersil C18, flow rate 1 ml / min, using Flouresensi detector with 350 nm wavelength. Based on the results obtained L-Arginine compound contained in a single-bulb garlic of 2.504 while for single-bulb black garlic that is egual to 06704. The content of L-Arginine compounds in single garlic is greater than that of a single black garlic. Abstract

Use and demand of traditional medicinal plants currently growing in the direction that research in traditional medicines have also increased. One of the plants that is efficacious as a medicine is bawang mekah (Eleutherine americana Merr.). This plant is usually used by people as a traditional medicine to treat various diseases. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of bawang mekah leaves. Antioxidant activity assays performed using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) that begins with the extraction by maceration. Dry leaves of bawang mekah (150 g) was soaked with ethanol 70% for 3x24 hours at room temperature. The liquid extract obtained is evaporated by rotary evaporator and waterbath till viscous extracts is obtained. Then to extract performed phytochemical screening and preliminary test with DPPH method by thin layer chromatography (TLC) with a mobile phase BAA (4:1:5). The antioxidant activity was measured using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and compared with vitamin C. The results of the phytochemical screening showed the extract contains flavonoids, saponins, phenols and tannins. In preliminary tests using KLT, gained 3 spots visualized with UV light 366 nm and sprayed with 0.2% DPPH. Third spot showed changes color to yellow with purple background that indicating the extract positive has antioxidant activity. The results of spectrophotometric measurements showed that the extract has the IC50 at 31.97437 ug/ml, whereas vitamin C had a lower IC50 value (3.90186 ug/ml).

Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the main staples needed in households. Cooking oil that is no longer used can cause household waste. Unused waste oil or used cooking oil, if not managed properly, will cause environmental pollution. There are still many people who do not know how to process the remaining unused oil. Therefore, as a form of community service from the Tangerang Muhammadiyah College of Pharmacy, we tried to invite the community in the Green Palme Housing, Cileles, Tangerang Regency to be able to participate in processing used cooking oil waste so that it can be used as a useful product, namely soap making. The method used in this activity is to provide training on recycling used cooking oil by adding lemongrass essential oil to make herbal-based bath soap. Community service broadly includes 3 activities, namely data collection of participants, delivery of material by lecturers, and mentoring of soap making practices by lecturers of STF Muhammadiyah Tangerang. This training activity is expected to open up opportunities for entrepreneurship, encourage industrial houses, assist in packaging and product marketing to the community, to improve the living standards of the communities around those affected by PPKM, create jobs, and make people's lives better.

Abstract

Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang dapat menimbulkan kematian. Upaya pencegahan terhadap vektor DBD telah banyak dilakukan, salah satunya dengan menggunakan insektisida buatan. Namun insekstida buatan dapat menimbulkan bahaya bagi kesehatan maupun lingkungan. Bahaya penggunaan insektisida buatan tersebut dapat diminimalisir dengan menggunakan insektisida alami, salah satunya adalah ekstrak etil asetat herba Anting-anting (Alcalypha indica. L). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi paling efektif dari ekstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari konsentrasi ekstrak etil asetat herba Anting-anting (Alclypha indica. L) 0,045%, 0,09%, 0,135%, dan 0,18%. Kelompok kontrol negatif yaitu aquades dan kelompok kontrol positif yaitu larutan abate 0,1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya senyawa aktif alkaloid, flavonoid, triterpenoid, dan steroid pada ekstrak etil asetat. Hasil penelitian dilakukan analisis data dengan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey, Analis Probit dan penentuan nilai LC50. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak herba herba Anting-anting (Alcalypha indica. L) efektif sebagai aktivitas larvasida dengan LC50 sebesar 72,4435 ppm. Kata Kunci : Alcalypha indica. L., Aedes aegypti., larvasida.

Abstract

Seledri diketahui memiliki khasiat sebagai diuretik secara empiris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan efektivitas ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri (Apium graveolens L.) memiliki efektivitas sebagai diuretik dan hubungannya dengan peningkatan dosis ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri (Apium graveolens L.) pada tikus putih jantan galur sprague dawley. Sebanyak 25 ekor hewan uji dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakuan yaitu : kelompok kontrol normal (suspensi Na.CMC 0,5%), kelompok kontrol positif (suspensi furosemid), kelompok ekstraketanol 70% herba seledri 1,5 g/200grBB, kelompok ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri 0,75g/200grBB, dan kelompok ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri 0,375g/200grBB. Pengujian terhadap efek diuretik dilakukan dengan melihat volume urin yang dikeluarkan selama 6 jam. Hasil yang didapat, aktivitas diuretik meningkat pada pemberian ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri . Data dianalisis menggunakan spss ver.15., beda nyata setiap perlakuan diuji dengan one way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey dan LSD untuk melihat perbedaan antar setiap kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri menunjukkan aktivitas diuretik yang optimum, dan berbeda tapi tidak bermakna terhadap furosemid. Peningkatan dosis ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri memiliki efektivitas sebagai diuretik. Kata Kunci : ekstrak etanol 70% herba seledri, diuretik, sprague dawley.

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah tekanan darah tinggi persisten dimana tekanan sistoliknya diatas 120 mmHg dan tekanan diastoliknya di atas 80 mmHg. Hipertensi dapat diobati dengan obat golongan Angiontensin Converting Enzim- Inhibitor (ACEI). Tetapi captopril memiliki efek samping yaitu batuk kering. Maka masyarakat memilih buah mengkudu sebagai pengobatan hipertensi, yang di dalamnya mengandung senyawa scopoletin. Scopoletin berfungsi memperlebar saluran pembuluh darah yang mengalami penyempitan dan melancarkan peredaran darah, maka dilakukan pengujian in-silico, sebagai alternatif penemuan obat baru. Pengujian ini menggunakan tanaman mengkudu yang memiliki senyawa scopoletin pada buahnya sebagai senyawa uji. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat skor docking yang terendah antara senyawa uji dan senyawa pembanding. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Autodock 42.6. studi penambatan molekul adalah metode komputasi yang bertujuan meniru peristiwa interaksi suatu molekul ligan dengan protein yang menjadi targetnya pada uji in-vitro Reseptor yang digunakan yaitu ACE dengan kode 2X8Z. Hasil pengujian ini scopoletin menghasilkan free binding energy -6.21 kkal/mol sedangkan captopril -5.97 kkal/mol, maka scopoletin menghasilkan skor docking yang lebih rendah dibandingkan captopril. Keduanya memiliki asam amino yang sama yaitu 265GLN, 497HIS, 337HIS, 367HIS. Satu ikatan hidrogan yang terbentuk antara ligan uji dengan reseptor ACE, ikatan hidrogen yang terbentuk yaitu antara atom O pada scopoletin dan atom N pada residu asam amino 266GLN dengan jarak 2.01Å. Sedangkan captopril memiliki empat ikatan hidrogen yang terbentuk antara atom O dan atom N pada residu asam amino 495LYS, GLN265, HIS497, HIS337. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa scopoletin diprediksi dapat berperan sebagai antihipertensi. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Scopoletin, ACE, Penambatan Molekul

Abstract

Milk is a source of nutrition for the body's growth, containing calcium and iron minerals. This study analyzes the optimal calcium, iron, ash, water, and fat levels in fresh and processed cow's milk. This study used five samples: pure milk (S1), pasteurized pure milk (S2), pasteurized milk with sugar (S3), pasteurized milk with paste coloring and citric acid (S4), and pasteurized milk with powder coloring(S5). The results showed that the calcium content of milk 4 (S4) treated with pasteurized milk added with sugar and paste coloring and citric acid had a higher calcium content than the other four samples by 98.61 mg/kg, at levels of milk iron 5 (S5) treated with pasteurized milk added with sugar and powdered dyes had a higher iron content than the other four samples by 73.81 mg/kg. The ash content of pure milk was higher at 0.96%. The fat content of pasteurized milk, the taste of coloring paste and powder, was higher than the other three samples at 2.80%. The water content of pasteurized added sugar milk was higher than the other four samples at 88.58%. Pure milk had the most optimal calcium (Ca) and iron (Fe) levels from the other four samples.
