Abstract

The lungs are the main organ in the human respiratory system which is located in the chest cavity and consists of a pair. The lungs are a vital organ that greatly influences the body's health, because it has the function of maintaining the body's acid-base balance, removing carbon dioxide that the body does not need and water vapor. Smoking is the main cause of lung disease, in 2020 based on the World Health Organization (WHO) report, it is estimated that 10 million people suffer from lung disease worldwide. This research uses the Naïve Bayes classification algorithm to obtain a prediction model that can predict lung disease patient data. This research aims to obtain accuracy values ​​using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The data used in this research was obtained from Kaggle which contains 469 data with 14 attributes in it. RapidMiner is used as a tool to test the patient dataset used to produce a prediction with an accuracy rate of 99.9% risk false (no risk of having lung disease).

Abstract

Tenaga penjualan adalah aset paling penting bagi sebuah perusahaan. Pengembangan kompetensi tenaga penjualan tidak dapat sepenuhnya dievaluasi karena kompleksitas keterampilan yang langsung diperoleh dan digunakan. Kesulitan dalam menentukan kriteria penilaian yang sesuai untuk mengevaluasi kinerja tenaga penjualan di perusahaan tidak cukup hanya menggunakan persepsi manusia oleh manajemen. Hal tersebut karena penilaian dan persepsi manusia terhadap kriteria kualitatif selalu subjektif dan tidak tepat. Dalam menentukan beberapa kategori kriteria, diperlukan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif sebagai sarana pengambilan keputusan dalam organisasi. Penelitian kuantitatif menghasilkan data dalam bentuk angka, sedangkan penelitian kualitatif cenderung menghasilkan data yang disajikan dalam bentuk narasi dan teks. Dalam penelitian ini, diusulkan model MCDM menggunakan metode Fuzzy AHP untuk mengevaluasi kinerja tenaga penjualan di departemen pemasaran perusahaan guna menentukan prioritas dan peringkat objektif dari alternatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsistensi rasio validasi menggunakan metode Fuzzy AHP pada kriteria kuantitatif diperoleh nilai 0,016 dan 0,015 untuk kriteria kualitatif. Kemudian analisis sensitivitas digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak dari perubahan pada bobot relatif kategori kriteria kuantitatif yang nilainya diturunkan sebesar 3,85%, sehingga mempengaruhi penilaian secara keseluruhan. Secara spesifik pada pre-test dengan nilai akurasi sebesar 85%, sedangkan pada post-test menghasilkan akurasi yang lebih besar dengan nilai 95%, dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa evaluasi kinerja tenaga penjualan menggunakan metode Fuzzy AHP menghasilkan prioritas dan peringkat alternatif yang lebih objektif dan sangat sesuai untuk diimplementasikan di perusahaan. Analisis uji t-produksi nilai p adalah 0,000494 yang lebih kecil dari nilai alpha (0,05), menunjukkan bahwa hasilnya efektif.

Abstract

Vehicle queues formed in front of the gate of the ticket collection counter at STS Mall can cause problems and queue lengths that can interfere with other traffic movement systems. Therefore, it is very important to review the queuing system at the gate of the parking ticket collection counter at STS Mall. This study aims to examine the queuing system and determine alternatives to improve four-wheeled vehicle queuing services at the ticket collection counter to enter the parking lot at STS Mall. The main data needed in this study are vehicle arrival rates and counter service times. The data were obtained respectively using traffic enumeration methods and sampling observations, which were carried out at the entrance counter of four-wheeled vehicles and carried out on Saturdays and Sundays. The analysis method uses Queue Theory. The results of the analysis show that the number of counters 1 piece is still able to serve the current level of vehicle arrivals which gives a value of n ranging from 0.34 - 0.37 vehicles (( 1 vehicle) , q ranging from 0.08 - 0.06 vehicles (( 1 vehicle), d ranging from 8.2 - 8.6 seconds, and w ranging from 2.1 - 2.5 seconds. At an arrival rate above 600 vehicles / hour are no longer able to be served with the number of counters (N) as much as 1 piece without improving the queuing system

Abstract

The potential of solar energy in Indonesia is quite large as a renewable energy source, usually called solar panels or photovoltaic (PV) technology as a device capable of converting solar radiation into electrical energy. When solar panels operate, only about 15% of solar radiation is converted into electrical energy, while the rest is converted into heat. The intensity of solar radiation and the temperature of the surrounding air affect the voltage and current produced by solar cells. This condition requires a device that can regulate the temperature state of the solar panel. This study was conducted to overcome the heat problem in solar panels through optimizing the thermal properties of the cooling fluid by adding nano-sized SEM/EDS-tested particles to the W/EG base fluid, which is commonly called nanofluids, then making serpentine channels as a heat exchanger was also carried out. The experimental test process was carried out with a flow rate variation of 1 to 3 LPM and the inlet temperature was kept at 35˚C. The results showed that the highest cooling fluid flow rate was the most optimum condition. The Reynolds number shows that the heat transfer coefficient increases by 1011.72 W/m◦K, 1321.72 W/m◦K, and 2070.39 W/m◦K, respectively. The Nusselt number tends to increase as the Reynolds number of the nanofluid increases. An increase in Nusselt number indicates an increase in heat transfer coefficient, while Reynolds number indicates laminar flow of the coolant. Similarly, the pressure drop increases with increasing flow rate.

Abstract

Energi angin adalah merupakan salah satu energi alternative yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai keperluan, guna menggantikan sumber energi berbahan posil. salah satu bentuki dari pemanfaatan energi angin adalah sebagai sumber energi untuk pembangkit tenaga listrik. keunggulan dari turbin ini yaitu mampu meneekstrak angin dengan kecepatan angin yang kecil (min 2 m/s). Hasil perhitungan dari turbin angin Savonius didapatkan hasil, pada kecepatan rata – rata angin 7 m/s menghasilkan koevisien daya maksimal sebesar 3.62% pada tip speed ratio 3.24. Pada kecepatan rata – rata angin 5 m/s menghasilkan koevisien daya maksimal sebesar 7.95% pada tip speed ratio 3.43. Sedangkan pada kecepatan rata – rata angin 2.5 m/s menghasilkan koevisien daya maksimal sebesar 24.40% pada tip speed ratio 2.35. Rangka turbin yang menopang bahan komponen yang terpasang pada rangka adalah 41,26 kg. Konsentrasi tagangantarik maksimum pada batang yang terjadi adalah 0,101 kg/mm2 < = 3,08 kg/mm2, jadi rangka aman digunakan terhadap tegangan tarik.

Abstract

PT. XYZ experienced load imbalance with the production capacity of the D17D product line in the molded production area, The existence of gaps 70 seconds between the standard SOP time of 360 seconds and the actual process time of 430 seconds. This difference occurs due to each process being unbalanced, the results of the process are not the same. With the concept of conducting research in the field of direct production then analyzing the rubberistics of the production process, it is hoped that the problems that occur can be found solutions to eliminate young time (in vain). From the results of this study proves that designing Jig & fixture as a tool to reduce the imbalance of each process where in the Unloading pressing rubber process there is an ergonomic influence that causes the operator to experience MSDs so that production results do not reach the target. As a result, after designing a tool to help the unloading process of the D17D product rubber press machine in the molded area, there was an acceleration of the process where the SOP time was 360 seconds before repairs was carried out 430 seconds after repair to 340 seconds

Abstract

PT. Papertech is a company engaged in manufacturing that produces core board type paper. The process of making core boards is a continuous process where every day the company always produces coreboards that are not just one type of core board. Given these problems, one way to minimize defective product rosters is to use the six sigma method analysis and failure mode and effect analysis. Research analysis using the six sigma method goes through several stages, namely the Define stage, which defines a general picture regarding the influence of the process on customer service. Meanwhile, at the Measure stage, namely Critical To Quality, Control Map and DPMO and sigma calculations for the 3 highest causes of defects, namely low plybond, low gsm, low cobb. The DPMO value in November 2023 is 450000 with a sigma value of 1.626, December 2023 is 422535 with a sigma value of 1.695, January 2024 is 474934 with a sigma value of 1.563, February 2024 is 560000 with a sigma value 1,349, March in 2024 it will be 540,000 with a sigma value of 1,400. The Analyze stage is to determine the main cause of the defect using fishbone. The Improve stage is to make improvements using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) according to the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value level of 540 for material, 189 for machine, 540 for human and 61 for method. The Control stage is documenting the quality improvement results stage

Abstract

Recruitment is one of the human resource management activities to search for prospective employees who will occupy certain positions in an organization (agency). The implementation of recruitment must be able to run according to plan and be objective. Because, this recruitment process will have an impact on the company in the future. In this case, an analysis of outsourcing employee recruitment was carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method by determining the criteria and alternatives to be used. Data processing was carried out by manual calculations using Microsoft Excel and using Super Decision to ensure more precise processing results. The results of the study showed that the priority of criteria and alternatives in manual calculations and with super decision obtained the same results. So that decision making can be taken based on the results of data processing that has been carried out.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. X is one of the motorcycle companies in Indonesia, many good quality motorcycles have been produced and marketed in Indonesia. There are various kinds of components made at PT. X to assemble a motorcycle, one of which is a cylinder head which is part of a motorcycle engine. In producing cylinder heads PT. X certainly has problems that occur, one of the problems that occurs is the dominance of reject products misrun chain among other rejects. This research was conducted using several seven tools methods, namely histograms, pareto diagrams and fishbone charts by focusing on analyzing problems in the most dominant types of rejects and the results of this study are knowing the causes of problems in the most dominant types of rejects with fishbone charts and why-why analysis.

Abstract

Strategi pemasaran merupakan salah satu perencanaan PT. Standard Biosensor Healthcare dalam menghadapi persaingan industri alat kesehatan, untuk menjual atau mendistribusikan produk yang dihasilkan agar apa yang menjadi target dari perusahaan dapat tercapai. Penelitian dalam tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan untuk memformulasikan strategi pemasaran produk alat kesehatan PT. Standard Biosensor Healthcare dengan menggunakan metode analisis SWOT. Hasil skor analisis dari faktor IFAS yaitu Strength skor 2,002 sedangkan Weakness skor 0,779 dengan hasil selisih (+) 1,223, dan hasil skor analisis dari faktor EFAS yaitu Opportunity skor 2,083 sedangkan Threats skor 0,724 dengan hasil selisih (+) 1,359 maka hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT. Standard Biosensor Healthcare berada pada posisi Strength – Opportunity (SO) Kuadran I, dimana PT. Standard Biosensor Healthcare berada pada tahap Growth Strategy (Tahap Pertumbuhan) dengan menggunakan faktor kekuatan internal Perusahaan untuk memanfaatkan peluang eksternal yang ada, yaitu dengan mengedepankan kekuatan dalam kualitas dan kuantitas produk, serta kecepatan dalam mengembangkan inovasi produk baru.
