Abstract

This study explores the family education program's role in enhancing children's religious and moral values at Hamizan Lubuklinggau Kindergarten. Employing a qualitative approach, data collection involved observation, documentation, and interviews. The analysis highlighted six family education programs, including socialization activities, parenting classes, parental involvement, joint events, consultation days, and home visits. The study identifies family education's five-fold role: promoter, inspirer, motivator, guide, and role model. However, challenges surfaced, such as limited interaction time due to parental and economic commitments, communication difficulties, and external influences like technology and peer interactions. In conclusion, the family education program significantly contributes to children's moral and religious development, yet addressing challenges, like time constraints and technology's impact, is vital for sustained efficacy. This research sheds light on the pivotal role of family education in nurturing children's values, urging continued efforts to overcome hindrances and optimize its impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of IQ intelligence of prospective elementary school students as readiness to enter elementary school. The entry of primary education is regulated by the government through the education and culture office, with one of the references that prospective elementary school students, in addition to age, must also have cognitive, social and emotional intelligence maturity. According to the Permendikbud, the minimum age for primary school entry is 6-7 years old. However, students under 6 years old who want to enter primary school must take a psychological test or get a recommendation from a psychologist. The method used was descriptive with data collection techniques using the DAP IQ intelligence test. The research sample consisted of 60 prospective primary school students who would enter grade one at SDNU. The results showed that the average IQ score of prospective elementary school students was 101. The analysis results show 87% 52 of prospective elementary school students have an average IQ intelligence level, 10% 6 students an IQ intelligence level above average, and 3% 2 students an IQ intelligence level below average. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that most prospective NU elementary school students have normal and above average IQ intelligence levels, so they are ready to follow the learning process at SDNU.

Abstract

This research explores the effort to enhance Arabic letter recognition using Flash Cards among early childhood learners at RA Nurul Iman in Tanjung Bulan Village, Kasui District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung. The findings clearly demonstrate the positive impact of the flash card media on hijaiyah letter recognition within Group B children. The overall average percentage gain of 70.46% aligned with the "Developing As Expected" (BSH) criteria underscores the efficacy of the flash card media in this context. The research suggests practical implications for both educational institutions and parents. Schools are advised to integrate flash card media across various relevant learning themes to optimize its benefits. Additionally, parents are encouraged to actively participate in supporting and guiding their children's hijaiyah letter recognition practice at home. As a concluding recommendation, future research endeavors could delve into comparative studies assessing hijaiyah letter recognition abilities facilitated by flash card media across diverse scenarios or conditions. Such research could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the versatility and generalizability of this instructional approach.

Abstract

This research examines Sosrokartono's teachings that involve the harmony of human relationships with God and fellow creatures. These teachings align with the values of Pancasila as the foundation of the state and reflect the character of education. This literature research uses a qualitative method with interpretation, abstraction analysis, and verstehen. The results show that Sosrokartono's moral teachings are practical and humanist. The practical nature is reflected in daily examples, while the humanist nature invites humans to help others with love and devotion to God. These teachings align with the main values of character building, including religion, nationalism, independence, cooperation, and integrity. In conclusion, Sosrokartono's teachings have strong relevance to character education and the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the urgency of English language skills in early childhood through English language learning strategies for early childhood education in the modern era. Focus is given to sensitive periods in child development that indicate optimal potential in language learning. The research identifies that various aspects of language should be introduced to children before age 8, when children's brain development reaches 80%. In order to maximize this period, learning strategies that motivate and boost the spirit of learning are proposed, especially in the context of English language teaching. The TPR (Total Physical Response) method, stories and songs are identified as effective and fun methods in teaching English to young children. By utilizing the everyday environment, both at school and at home, children can continue to enrich their understanding of language. Close collaboration between educators and parents is also highlighted as an important aspect in optimizing language learning. This research makes a valuable contribution in directing English language learning approaches that suit the characteristics and potential of early childhood.

Abstract

The importance of guiding students in increasing their concentration in learning is the task of an educator. Learning can be digested well when students have adequate concentration and absorption in paying attention to the teacher when explaining the material in front of the class. However, this is certainly different from children with disabilities who require a special approach to be able to receive learning material well. This research aims to see the effectiveness of art therapy using doodle art as a medium, which is expected to improve the concentration of children with ADHD. The research method uses qualitative with a case study approach, to see how the implementation of art therapy improves children's learning concentration. The results of the research show that art therapy with doodle art is able to increase concentration in children with ADHD in the memory aspect, attitude aspect and skill aspect. This approach is chosen according to the conditions and needs of the child, freeing the child to express himself in the doodle art media. It is very effective to see the attitude and enthusiasm of the students during the learning process, they really enjoy it and can relate well to the experiences gained during the learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pop Up Book media for increasing motivations early childhood. Therefore, learning media is needed that can facilitate students in learning, one of which is Pop Up Book media. Pop-up book media. Pop-up books are books that have moving parts or have three-dimensional elements and provide a more interesting visualization of the story, starting from the display of images that can move when the page is opened. With the guidance of the teacher, students can write descriptive text by looking at the pictures and vocabulary in the Pop Up Book. The design of this research is research and development or research (R&D).The development model used is ADDIE (analysis, design, development, evaluation, implementation) using the Dick and carry development model. The results of this study indicate that the level of product feasibility by material experts and media experts is included in the valid category and is suitable for use but needs to be revised. From the results of the design expert data, the results of the Pop-Up Book learning media are valid and feasible to be applied learning to increase early childhood’s motivations. Based on the results of the validation that has been carried out by the material expert, it can be seen that validation of the material expert obtained an average score of 96,66% With the criteria “very good”. And based on the validation results that have been carried out by design experts, it can be seen that the value is 96% with criteria “very good”.

Abstract

Marketing management can be used as a mechanism for explaining and rationalizing a program's offerings with various advantages, both in terms of inputs (inputs), processes, products (outcomes), outputs (outputs), and graduates (effects). In addition, promotion can also be used to convey public accountability regarding the educational process and results that have been implemented and developed by the educational institution concerned. The formulation of this research is how the education marketing management process in RA Al Wardah North Sumatra, what are the targets to be achieved by RA Al Wardah North Sumatra with the implementation of marketing management, what is faced by RA Al Wardah North Sumatra in the performance of marketing management. The research was conducted in RA Al Wardah, North Sumatra, and the data source for this study was the principal. This study uses qualitative research methods. Observation, interviews, and documentation do data collection. Data analysis is done through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that marketing management at RA Al Wardah, North Sumatra is running very well and following the times. The marketing strategy by RA Al Wardah North Sumatra is to continuously improve the quality of educational services, has the characteristic of educating children to be pious and independent, holding various extracurricular activities outside school hours, and holding multiple competitions.

Abstract

Social development is the development of behavior in children where children are asked to adapt to the rules that apply in the community. Emotional development will affect how children's attitudes and behavior towards the surrounding environment. so that the role of parents, peers, teachers and those around them is very important in supporting children's development, especially at an early age. This article used library reaserch method, from book, theory of pshycosocial and finding figure social emotional development. Finding of this discustions according to the literature review conducted, it was found that at an early age, which is around 4 to 6 years, is the most appropriate age to shape children's character by stimulating positive things to children and reducing the emergence of negative attitudes in children. Therefore, children at an early age need supervision, especially in bringing up the right stimulus to receive stimulation that is quite good, directed, and driven to the level of growth and development.
