Abstract

Energy consumption is increasing day by day and is very focused on the use of fossil energy, or better known as fossil fuel, which is now decreasing in number and the price is certainly more expensive. On the other hand, there are various types of renewable energy available, abundant in number and of course very cheap and non-polluting, including water energy, solar energy, biomass energy, wind energy, and it is usually called renewable energy. be used as a priority to accompany or replace the use of fossil fuels. This energy research is carried out to avoid energy scarcity in the future. Through the development of energy conversion machines, renewable energy can be utilized optimally in Indonesia for energy needs to support human needs in the energy sector. Renewable energy that is very close to us, we even feel it every day is wind energy, and in coastal areas there is a lot of potential for wind to use wind energy. This potential can be developed through the use of windmills. One form of windmill that is easy to make is the Sovanius windmill. The advantage of this windmill is that it can make initial rotations with low wind gusts.

Abstract

Using solar energy as a source of electricity has great potential. A boost converter is needed to overcome the low energy conversion efficiency of solar panels. Many boost converters have been used to achieve high efficiency, one of which is the quadratic boost converter. This study aims to increase the efficiency of solar panel output at low inputs. An overall study of the system with a lamp load of 2 volts from 09.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB showed that the highest efficiency was achieved at 10.15 am at 99% with an average efficiency of 80%. At the same time, the output voltage is 24.64 volts. From the voltage and current obtained simultaneously, the input power is 2.99 watts and the output power is 2.97 watts. From the tests I did, it appears that the quadratic boost converter can provide a fairly high output voltage. Low-duty cycles have been shown to produce higher output voltages than traditional boost converters.

Abstract

The number of traffic accidents in Indonesia is increasing. One of the main factors causing an accident is the driver's drowsiness. In general, drowsiness appears at night when the body needs rest. However, some of them appear due to fatigue during activities, situations like this need to be considered when we are driving so that the number of accidents caused by drowsiness can be avoided. From these problems, we need a tool that can automatically detect whether the car driver is sleepy or conscious using a facial landmark method. Where in the early stages it starts with taking pictures using the Raspberry Pi camera which will be processed by the Raspberry Pi 3b to detect facial areas using the eye aspect ratio then the algorithm on the eye aspect ratio is used to detect sleepy eyes with the output in the form of speakers and water pumps, where the speakers will emits a sound that can be changed according to the wishes of the driver. After the speaker sounds, the water pump will spray water on the face to react so that the driver doesn't get sleepy.

Abstract

A wheelchair is a tool that is often used by people who have difficulty walking, due to illness, injury, or disability. So far, we often encounter wheelchairs still using manual controls, so users often have difficulty pushing wheelchairs. This research aims to innovate new so that users do not have difficulty using wheelchairs by controlling smartphone wheelchairs so that users are more comfortable. The components we use are the Power Windod 12 V motor as the ESP32 wheel drive for the microcontroller, the line sensor to read the ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacles and the Blynk application to monitor wheelchair as a whole. the designer for IoT on this wheelchair can transport a large load of 80 kg a distance of 20m and for how to control this wheelchair on the network. Abstract

For breeders who own a large number of chickens, it becomes a difficult task to keep them fed around the clock. Generally, farmers sprinkle feed on the feed ticket using their hands and walk along the cage, where the laying hens are very spacious. Such activities for chicken farmers will take time and energy. Such activities for chicken farmers will take time and energy. The main controller of this system uses the MCU Node which is connected to an RTC (Real Time Clock) to adjust the feeding time of chickens in real time. This automatic tool has two parts, namely the main container serves as a place to store food reserves, equipped with a servo motor that functions to open the valve so that the feed can come out to the feed in the cage.

Abstract

IMM (Muhammadiyah Student Association) Kaizen is one of the organizations located on the campus of the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya. So far, the election of candidates for the chairmanship of the IMM kaizen for the new period is still carried out in the conventional way, and direct voting does not utilize information technology. The voting process is carried out by checking the candidates for the chairmanship and then collected and calculated manually. E-Voting is an election system where election data is stored and processed in digital information output. E-Voting can also be interpreted as voting whose implementation process starts from the registration of voters, the implementation of voting, counting votes and sending the results of votes is carried out electronically.Analyzing a running system is one step to determine the direction of action to be planned, system analysis is a stage of current system analysis, which is carried out before the system design process to find out the problems that arise. Based on the results of studies, observations and system design, members are expected to be able to choose the general chairman easily and quickly. This technical reconciliation system can reduce problems with manual systems, including cost efficiency and reduce and create errors.

Abstract

During a pandemic like this, the Covid-19 virus is easy to spread. Not only in Indonesia, but the whole world has been affected by this virus. Including almost all aspects quite affected by the presence of this Covid19 virus. Various steps have been taken by the government to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. One of them is limiting the number of people in a place / room so that it can reduce the chain of spread of the covid 19 virus. The Covid-19 virus has also affected economies around the world, thus triggering an increase in theft crimes during the pandemic, making people even more restless. An appropriate security system is needed to reduce the crime of theft during the pandemic. In this case, the researcher will carry out a thesis with the title Implementation of Esp 32 cam and infrared sensors for monitoring at tourist sites. Monitoring in question is in the form of security and limiting the number of visitors. This tool uses an Esp 32 cam sensor and an infrared sensor. The application of the Esp 32 cam sensor is used as a human face detector (Face recognition) is used to detect faces based on stored facial data that can open the door, so that other people cannot open the door. Meanwhile, infrared sensors are used as a system for limiting the number of tourist visitors that are used to count visitors who pass through the entrance and exit. Researchers use infrared sensors that will detect human objects that pass through the entrance and exit. After the visitor has reached the expected number the door will be closed automatically After the visitor has reached the expected number the door will be closed automatically. Users can also monitor security and the number of visitors through Blynk Apps via mobile phones. This system is expected to minimize the occurrence of theft and prevent the chain of spread of covid 19 not only at tourist sites but also at other crowded locations

Abstract

Surabaya is one of the largest cities in Indonesia, so it is the main attraction for most people to be able to live or try their luck there, many people come from various regions to work or continue their education. With so many immigrants, the need for a place to live is also increasing, but here there are obstacles, namely the difficulty of getting information about where to live, so that in this study an information system was designed, namely a website-based E-boarding application as a means of providing information about boarding houses that is effective so that it makes it easier for housing seekers, as well as boarding managers, can be used for promotional media for the boarding house that they will rent out and manage everything about the boarding house quickly and easily. The waterfall method is used in the development of this system, modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language). PHP is the programming language used in making this application with the XAMPP webserver. This e-kos is equipped with a feature for booking boarding rooms and boarding payments without having to come directly to the location and making it easier for renters and boarding owners.

Abstract

— Indoor air conditioning and conditioning systems are used to maintain indoor air temperature. Equipment in the air conditioning system (Air Conditioner), functions to regulate room temperature and regulate air humidity. The purpose of this research and development is to understand how it works along with its characteristics and to find out the performance produced from the AC (Air Conditioner) teaching aid system that has been made. Besides that, the making of this teaching aid is also used as a learning medium on AC system electricity material in a real form which is applied as a practicum medium so that it has a high level of effectiveness. The research method used was to carry out the preparatory stage by searching for literature and field studies, then designing the model and assembling the test equipment. An air conditioning machine with a vapor compression cycle has several main components, namely a compressor, condenser, capillary tube, evaporator and filter. The AC trainer model with an inverter type with a capacity of 0.5 PK is rectangular in shape with dimensions of 90 cm x 180 cm and a width of 70 cm. Tool testing was carried out at the Electrical Laboratory of Trunojoyo University for 180 minutes. While the process of collecting data from the test results is carried out every 5 minutes, so as to get a total of 36 data. The data that can be taken in testing the tool is working pressure, temperature in the pipe, voltage, and working current. Analysis of the test results in the form of compressor work (Wk), heat released by the condenser (Qout), heat absorbed by the evaporator (Qin), Coefficient of Performance (COP), Power (P), and efficiency. The average values ​​obtained from the results of data calculations include: the value of the compressor work is 17.11 kJ/kg, the heat released by the condenser is 180.71 kJ/kg, the heat absorbed by the evaporator is 163.57 kJ/kg, the value COP of 9.56, apparent power and active power of 430.29 VA and 395.86 Watt, and an efficiency value of 12.26. The results of the analysis obtained from testing the props and the data calculation process can be concluded that the air conditioning machine is able to work optimally and has a good efficiency value in accordance with the unit specifications

Abstract

Kebanyakan sistem pengaman gerbang saat ini masih memakai gerbang tradisional, sehingga kurang efektif untuk spot perumahan dengan banyak penghuni didalamnya karena dapat mebuang-buang waktu ketika terjadi antrian pemeriksaan oleh petugas keamanan gerbang, selain itu gerbang konvensional memiliki potensi human error. Sehingga diperlukan sistem keamanan gerbang yang lebih mudah dan efektif, dari permasalahan diatas penulis memiliki ide menciptakan alat pengaman gerbang otomatis berbasis RFID dengan memanfaatkan E-KTP sebagai RFID tag, Finger print sensor dan Keypad sebagai pengaman gerbang otomatis. Rancang bangun pengaman gerbang otomatis memakai mikrokontroler Atmega328 sebagai pemroses utama rangkaian. Penelitian ini memakai cara penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu cara yang bertujuan menciptakan dan mengembangkan produk tersebut. Cara ini diaplikasikan pada langkah penelitian memiliki 9 langkah yaitu (1) awal, (2) potential dan problem, (3) information research, (4) merancang alat, (5) konfirmasi desain, (6) penciptaan alat, (7) tes uji alat, (8) rekap data (9) analisa data. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu uji coba alat pengaman gerbang dapat berperasi dengan lancar sesuai dengan rencana yang telah direncanakan. RFID Reader yang dipakai mempunyai frekuensi 13,56 MHz yang ditaruh didekat Fingerprint sensor yang bisa mengidentifikasi ID E-KTP dengan jarak terjauh 1,8 cm. Motor servo dapat mengaktifkan gerbang secara otomatis bilamana ID E-KTP benar, minimal harus ada 2 input yang benar dari keseluruhan 3 input, gerbang akan menutup ulang dalam kurun waktu 5 detik.
