Artikel yang dimuat pada Jurnal Pusat Inovasi Masyarakat (JPIM) berhubungan dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi deskripsi inovasi, praktik, dan perubahan kondisi masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa karya ilmiah yang berisi penerapan hasil penelitian dan atau pengembangan IPTEKS (inovasi). Klasifikasi hasil penelitian yang dapat diterapkan langsung dan dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat pengguna, berupa: 1) Pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam rangka memberdayakan masyarakat; 2) Teknologi tepat guna yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam rangka meningkatkan taraf hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat; 3)Model penyelesaian masalah, rekayasa sosial, dan/atau rekomendasi kebijakan yang dapat diterapkan langsung oleh masyarakat, dunia usaha, industri, dan/atau Pemerintah; atau 4) Hak kekayaan intelektual (HKI) yang berorientasi pada pengembangan komunitas.

Abstract

Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) IPB organizes a Lecturers Community Service Program, as an innovation of lecturers community service by facilitating lecturers to several villages in Bogor and outside of Bogor to directly interact and provide solutions for the community. The purpose of these activities is to enhance the implementation of science and technology from the university for society welfare. One of the villages partners in this program is Cihideung Udik Village with prominent agricultural potential. More than 60% of the land is used for agriculture. Yet, until now the community still face agriculture problems such as decreasing agricultural land area due to changes into residential house. This condition triggers a decrease in the availability of ground water, and cultivation type or pattern change. Previously the community cultivate paddy, but now the community shifts to plant secondary crops especially corn. Not only that, various complex problems in Cihideung Udik require innovative solution available at universities such as IPB University. Lecturer community service at Cihideung Udik was carried out through the socialization of necessary materials viz., future skills motivation, family financial planning, water saving irrigation, water saving cultivation, agrosilvofarmaka, mapping of village potential and marketing. This activity preceived to be useful and any material delivered by the lecturer in general, were needed by the community. Although there was a material that need to be evaluated in order to increase public knowledge. Therefore, the Lecturer Community Service Program have to evaluate and improve their system in responding to community problems and also continuously improve community welfare.

Abstract

Handling fish caught after the fishing prosess is very important to do. Because it will affects the quality of the fish caught. Fish is a perishable product. So that the quality can drop dramatically if no handling of fish catches properly. The handling of fish caught is not only done while on the ship, but is carried out starting from the fish caught on the ship to the fish caught to the final consumer. Handling of fish caught in PPN Palabuhanratu has not been good and right for payang fisherman. Therefor an initial step is taken, for example through counselling to payang fisherman and fisheries businesess regarding the handling of fish catch that are good and right. Counselling that has been done was attend by people as many as 42 fisherman with payang fishing gear.

Abstract

This activity conduct to help the preparation of people included in Posdaya group to build the urban agricultural tourism, and also exploring the natural potentials that can be utilized by the community. Hopefully those aims could grow the economic sectors of Bogor City. The method used within this activity are Active Participation, Accompaniment and Training Forms, targeted the people included in Posdaya group. The result of this activity is to make sure that people who are included in Posdaya group have been established and ready in technically or either non-technically to make any changes or movements towards the urban agricultural tourism of Bogor City. Beautiful natural resources is a potential that can be used by the community to attract tourists to visit the location so they could grow the economic sector in the community.

Abstract

One important phase in the fish reproduction cycle is the gonad maturation process. In general, catfish reproduce in the rainy season and do not reproduce in the dry season.The purpose of this activity is to accelerate the reproductive performance of catfish broodstock to produce optimal seeds outside the spawning season. Efforts to obtain optimal fish seed can be done by improving the performance or reproductive performance through supplementation of nutrients in the broodstock feed and combined with Oodev hormone premix. Catfish broodstock as many as five pairs with a total weight of 17.5 kg were fed with Oodev 0.5 mL/kg and turmeric 3%/kg of feed.Feeding is done as much as 3% of the total weight of catfish broodstock with a frequency of three times a day ie at 09.00, 15.00, and 21.00 WIB. Maintenance is carried out for 4 weeks. The results of the activity showed that the administration of Oodev and turmeric were able to produce mature gonads as much as 60%.

Abstract

Milk is a special product. This white liquid contains balanced and complete nutrients needed by the body such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, minerals, and vitamins. Milk is also the main source of nutrition for babies before they can digest solid food. The diversification of processed milk product training for the Kebon Pedes community, especially housewives, aims to increase the added value of cow's milk. Cow's milk which is sold in fresh form has properties that do not last long and are easily damaged. Because it is perishable, efforts are needed to handle milk that has been damaged or not fresh (off quality) into new products that have added value. Community service activities are carried out in Kebon Pedes Village, Tanah Sareal Regency, Bogor City on December 2019. The form of this activity is the delivery of knowledge and training on diversification of dairy cattle processed products. There are three dairy products that can be made, namely milk candy, milk bread, and chicken milk noodles. Three dairy products are products that have high nutritional value and are safe for consumption, especially for children.

Abstract

Landslides are one of the natural disasters that occur due to shifting movement of soil and other rock material. Factors that cause landslides are unsupportive soil structures and additional burdens on human activities that cause the carrying capacity and soil resistance to decrease. The community in RW 06 Kelurahan Cimahpar is an area prone to landslides, in 2019 there have been at least four houses affected by the disaster. RW 06 Cimahpar area is an area that is crossed by a river, and many residents are building houses on landslide prone structures. The socialization of the landslide emergency response system aims to provide knowledge to the community in order to minimize the adverse impacts caused by the disaster, and to mitigate the disaster.

Abstract

Cibanteng Village is one of the 13 (thirteen) villages in the Ciampea District area with an area of 162,185 Ha, as of October 2018 the population of Cibanteng Village is 17,070 people, consisting of 8,700 men and 8,370 women. Potential in this Cibanteng village, namely tubers and cassava. This community service activity aims to exploit the potential of the village that is abundantly available and help the citizens in opening employment businesses. Cricket cultivation can help residents in minimizing feed costs and exploiting the potential of cassava leaf waste in Cibanteng Village. The method used is counseling. The activity was carried out in the Cibanteng Village Office Hall, Ciampea District. Participants numbered 14 people consisting of men and youth. The activity was carried out with two sessions, namely the delivery of material and discussion. Based on the results of the participant interviews, there has been an increase in specialization to perform cricket cultivation in the youth group or on the men. This community service activity from an economic perspective can increase community income and can open jobs for young people.

Abstract

Malaysia is a multicultural country. This indicates the diversity of human resources. This proper management of human resources can make Malaysia's tourist attraction attractive. Especially in Sungai Haji Dorani Village, Sungai Besar. This study aims to analyze the management of tourism brand awareness in Kampung Sungai Haji Dorani, Selangor. Data analysis methods used include analysis of the distribution of Kuala Selangor residents based on ethnicity and the way they interact. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and recording. Secondary data obtained by analysis and recording of literature. The existence of diversity makes people more heterogeneous and can exchange ideas. Tourism is an activity that affects the economic conditions of the community. Malaysia occupies the 29th position out of 140 countries in the field of tourism. This country develops tourism with various models. One of them developed in Kuala Selangor is a homestay program in the Sungai Haji Dorani Kampung area. The nuances and daily activities of the residents offered are the main attraction of tourism there.

Abstract

Ringinanyar is one of the duck center in Blitar. Duck farm at Ringinanyar Village were still reared by intensive system management. Farmers still do not understand about laying duck feed. Due to poor knowladge of feedstuff, farmers were not able to control egg’s price then lead farmer dependency on middleman. Maggot suplementation on feed has a concept on optimizing utilization of local feedstuff. In order to increase egg production. Program’s partner of Stasium Lapang Agro Kreatif (SLAK) is Kelompok Ternak Maju at Desa Ringinanyar, Kecamatan Ponggok, Kabupaten Blitar. The program was held on November 2019 to Januari 2019. The program was started by socialization about program information, then continue by training on maggot-suplemented feed, the farmers were expected to be indipendence on fullfilled their own feed demand then improving their own wealth. The programs were done as it as were expected and maggot-suplemented feed production would be regulary done by the farmers.

Abstract

The majority of people in Cibening, Sub-district Pamijahan work as farmers. Guava is the main commodity that has been cultivated. This village is also a contributor to Bogor Regency, which is the third largest guava producer in West Java province. However lately the production of guava in this area has decreased so that farmers suffered significant losses. This loss caused by a pest attack that occurs for a long time. The main pest and disease in this village are Helopeltis sp. and plant parasitic nematodes. Farmers in this village still do not understand in detail related how to manage pest and disease. The use of chemical pesticides is the only one control strategy for pest and disease. With these conditions, farmers need assistance to solve the problem. This activity was done through three stages, namely preliminary survey, socialization related to the introduction and control of pests and diseases of guava, and training of PGPR as a biological agent and planting Tagetes sp as refugia and nematicidal actvity. The ojective of this activity was to enable farmers to have the ability to solve pest and disease problems damaging guava, with proper control that takes into account all aspects, so farmers get more financial benefits and environmental sustainability in this village can be realized. Guava farmers in Cibening Village, Pamijahan are able to recognize and deal with pests and diseases that attack guava independently and farmers get more financial and environmental sustainability benefits.
