Abstract

Objective: Collecting information and testing validation for the design of an acupressure model integrated with spiritual coping skills as an effort to reduce anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney disease proves that acupressure intervention integrated with spiritual coping skills has an effect on anxiety levels in CKD patients with hemodialysis through improving serotonin levels, and IgG Method: This study uses Research and Development (R&D), the stages carried out in this study were stages one, two and three, namely: information gathering, product/model design, expert validation and revision. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, grouped into two, the first group was a sample of the information gathering stage, totaling 10, the second group was a sample of the expert validation stage, totaling 9 people consisting of specialist doctors, psychologists and religious leaders. Information collection data was tested using qualitative discriminatory and expert validation data was tested with intraclass correlation coefficient Results: The results of gathering information concluded that the impact of hemodialysis treatment is the emergence of stress and anxiety in patients, anxiety, data can be overcome by acupressure treatment supported by activities that can meet psychological and religious/spiritual needs, thus providing a sense of comfort and increasing faith. Acupressure action with religious coping can reduce anxiety. Expert validation showed that the eligibility score was 90.9% with p=0.001 meaning that acupressure integrated spiritual coping skills was feasible as a model for reducing anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney disease in the very feasible category. Conclusion: The application of acupressure model integrated spiritual coping skills is feasible as a model to reduce anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis

Abstract

Objective: To determine the effect of oxygenation on increasing ineffective breathing patterns in congestive heart failure (CHF). Method: This case study uses a descriptive method that includes an assessment that aims to provide a detailed description of the background, nature and character of a case. This study uses three data collection techniques, namely, primary data (interviews and observations), and secondary data (documentation). Result: After giving oxygen, the results showed that there was a change in breathing pattern for the better, no shortness of breath, and a normal frequency of respiration 21 x/minute and SPO2 99%. Conclusion: It is concluded that the ineffective breathing pattern can be overcome by giving oxygenation. It can be seen from the results of the research evaluation that giving oxygen before and after can have an effect on improving breathing.

Abstract

Objective: To find out the description of giving warm compresses to treat hyperthermia in An.M with febrile seizures in the Parikesit room of RST Wijayakusuma. Method: This type of research was qualitative, with a case study design that was described descriptively. In this case study, the subject is An.M with hyperthermia nursing problems in cases of febrile seizures at Wijayakusuma Hospital, Purwokerto. Data collection in the following research was carried out by means of observation, measurement, in-depth interviews or anamnesis (assessment by direct interviews with patients or families), physical examination, and documentation for the same data source. Result: The results obtained after giving compresses for 3 days the patient's body temperature which was originally 38.50C dropped to 370C. Conclusion: It was concluded that hyperthermia can be overcome by giving warm compresses, warm compresses cause the body temperature outside to be warm so that the body will interpret that the outside temperature is quite hot, eventually the body will reduce the temperature control control in the brain so as not to increase the body temperature, with the outside temperature Warmth will make the peripheral blood vessels in the skin widen and experience vasodilation so that the skin pores will open and facilitate heat dissipation, so there will be changes in temperature. This can be seen from the results of the researcher's evaluation that giving warm compresses can have an impact on decreasing body temperature.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the implementation of deep breathing relaxation techniques in clients with post operative section caesarea. Method: The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach using nursing care that refers to the SDKI and SIKI books. The subject in this study was 1 sectio caesarea client with a diagnosis of acute pain who was treated in Teratai Room 2 BLUD Banjar City General Hospital. The data collection techniques included interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation. Result: From nursing care for postoperative sectio caesarea clients, the symptoms that appear during the assessment are pain in the lower abdomen. The nursing problem that arises is acute pain related to physical injury agents referring to the SDKI book. Interventions carried out to reduce pain are deep breathing relaxation techniques. During the intervention process, the action went smoothly until the evaluation. In this study, there was a decrease in the pain scale from 3 to 0. Conclusion: After the intervention of breathing relaxation techniques on the client's pain scale was reduced from 3 to 0, while the subjective data from the anamnesis results, the client said the pain was reduced.

Abstract

Objective: This case study was conducted to describe a progressive muscle relaxation intervention in reducing pain in appendicitis patients. Method: This study uses a case study design with an evidence-based practice approach that focuses on nursing interventions. This research was conducted at the BLUD RSU Banjar City on 27-31 May 2022. Participants in this study were Ny patients. C, 35 years old, female, complains of right lower quadrant abdominal pain. The process of assessing and establishing a diagnosis is focused on the main problem. Objective and subjective data becomes a reference for periodic evaluation of nursing implementation. Results: Patients gave recognition of decreased pain after being given a progressive muscle relaxation intervention with a pain scale of 4 out of 5 (0-10) and a scale of 3 out of 4 (0-10).   Conclusion: Progressive muscle relaxation intervention should be suspected to be effective in reducing pain in appendicitis patients as evidenced by subjective patient recognition. Theoretically, this study does not conflict with previous research so that it can be a reference in future research. Theoretically, this research does not conflict with previous research so that it can be a reference in future research. Clinically, progressive muscle relaxation intervention can be an alternative intervention to reduce pain levels in patients with chronic diseases such as appendicitis in hospitals and health centers.

Abstract

Objective: The general purpose of this research is to design an information system based on the application of blood characteristics testing on platelets to increase the impact of vibration by using a "Blood Shaker Machine" examined through a Haematology Analyzer (HA) and Peripheral Blood Smear (SADT) at any changes in the increase in vibration. Method: The method used in this study is to design an application-based system on the "Blood Shaker Machine" and test the increase in vibration on changes in blood quality both in terms of the number and morphology of the platelets. Result: Significant changes in the morphology of erythrocytes and platelets in the 10 Hz vibration group for 15 minutes also indicated a change in the quality of blood cells, both erythrocytes and platelets.  Conclusion: There is a significant difference in erythrocyte morphology changes between before and after being vibrated at 10 Hz with a p value of 0.014 and There is a significant difference in platelet morphology between before and after being vibrated at 10 Hz with a p value of 0.000.
