Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out with the aim of increasing students' understanding of Fiqh material through technology-based learning strategies at SMA MADANI Al-Aziziyah. Fiqh learning, which is generally carried out by conventional lecture methods, often makes students passive, bored, and less able to relate the material to real life. This condition creates a gap between the purpose of learning Fiqh, which is to form an understanding and skills of Islamic law practice and the results obtained in the classroom. Therefore, teachers need to implement innovative learning strategies by utilizing digital technology that is more in line with the characteristics of digital native generation students. This study uses the PTK model with two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The learning media used include multimedia-based interactive presentations, worship tutorial videos, and online quiz applications such as Kahoot and Quizizz. The subjects of the study were 32 students in grade XI. Data was collected through learning outcome tests, observation of student activities, and teacher-student interviews. The results of the study show that technology-based Fiqh learning strategies have a significant positive impact. In the first cycle, student activity began to increase even though involvement was still limited, with an average test score of 72 and a percentage of learning completeness of 68%. After the improvement of the strategy in cycle II, student involvement increased significantly, students were more enthusiastic in participating in learning, and were able to work together in digital-based group discussions. The average test score increased to 82 with learning completeness reaching 88%. Thus, technology-based Fiqh learning has been proven to be effective in improving student understanding. The implications of this study show the importance of teacher training in mastering educational technology and the provision of supporting facilities from schools.

Abstract

Agrarian conflict represents a form of social tension that reflects inequality in the control, utilization, and distribution of natural resources, particularly land. This study focuses on the conflict between the people of Aceh Singkil Regency and PT. Nafasindo, analyzed through the lens of Ralf Dahrendorf’s social conflict theory. The research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were obtained from secondary sources such as official documents, reports from land agencies, academic publications, and relevant media coverage. The analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and interpretive conclusion drawing to understand the social, legal, and political contexts surrounding the conflict. The findings indicate that the conflict began in 2006 and escalated in 2025 following the expiration of PT. Nafasindo’s Land Use Rights (HGU) covering an area of 3,007 hectares. The imbalance of authority between the company as the dominant group and the community as the subordinate group constitutes the main source of conflict. Within Dahrendorf’s theoretical framework, this conflict reflects the community’s effort to renegotiate power relations and demand agrarian justice. The study recommends resolving the conflict through participatory mediation and the reformulation of agrarian policies that uphold the social function of land.

Abstract

The decentralization system, as a reality of democratic implementation in various regions in Indonesia, with direct elections for regional heads, is marked by the rise of kinship politics. As a strategy to secure power, kinship politics involves involving family and relatives in holding certain political positions, both formally and informally. This article aims to outline the aspects supporting the escalation of kinship politics in Indonesia. The research method used to organize and present the data in this paper is a literature review, examining manuscripts and documents related to decentralization, regional head elections, kinship politics, political culture, and leadership. The study found that the strengthening of kinship politics in the era of decentralization is inseparable from the existence of a political culture in Indonesian society that is oriented towards the role of opinion leaders or indigenous figure leadership. Local leaders gain a clear electoral advantage due to their popularity, substantial financial resources, and ability to mobilize the masses. Kinship politics also has the potential to reinforce nepotism, patron-client relations, patrimonialism, and recruitment patterns based on kinship representation. Kinship politics has the potential to become a latent threat to the development of democracy, especially amidst the trend of decentralized politics in Indonesia.
