Abstract

This article explores Islamic education based on multiple intelligences. Islam requires human orientation not only on the outcome but also the quality of process. It has been commonly known for several decades that the major experts in education use only intelligence quotient (IQ) tests as the sole measure in "judging" children's intelligence. It is even used as the main consideration and the only reference in predicting the future of children. In fact, especially for today's complex era, other factor intelligence can actually be a role for the future determinants of future children. This article discusses three important things, namely the basic concept of multiple intelligences, the new paradigm of learning Islamic Education, and PAI Learning based on various ideal intelligences. Multiple intelligence-based learning within the scope of an institution is generally not easy. Recently, Islamic Education as a subject or institution has its own advantages. They are the ability and sincerity to accommodate students who come from lower class society. Of course this is not fair if an Islamic Education institution or PAI subjects are forced to use certain modern theories but the income (money) and the quality of Islamic Education institutions and PAI teachers are not modernized.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the implementation of full day school in Islamic education in Indonesia. The position of Islamic education in the national education system is a kind of religious character education, so Islamic education in sisdiknas should be able to organize formal education institutions, non formal and informal, from the basic level to college, managed by the government or/and private institution. In this case, the government also creates an organizational structure in running Islamic education programs in Indonesia. Regulation of Minister of Education No. 23 of 2017 about full day school certainly contribute to the conflict of Islamic education in Indonesia because full day school is not accepted by the majority of scholars or the santri because it is realized that the regulation is problematic for Islamic education, especially madrasah diniyah , for students and teachers. Full day school (FDS) program is actually not new in education, such as boarding school education institutions. The education program at boarding school is not only Full Day School (FDS) but full years school or running for 24 hours, where the process of education is not only in formal lesson time.

Abstract

This article discusses the transformation of Islamic education towards inclusive and pluralist Islamic education. The thought of Nurcholis Madjid shows that Muslims can be more advanced and accept things rationally to deal with the development of people, and the needs to emphasize is thta the ideas / thoughts that they have created should we be able to filter and criticize by taking the good things rationally and religiously, or in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings, and it should not be necessarily taken for granted. Madjid considered the need for intellectual quality improvement among Muslims including teenagers, students or santri. Not only do they master the science of religion, but also compete the modern world, as once achieved by medieval Muslims who mastered a lot of science and excel in many fields. The idea of a pesantren renewal is part of its modernization ideals. With the three basic principles of life and religious values of divinity, humanity and justice, Madjid hopes that there will be future changes in Islamic education. Because of the education, Muslims will change. Setting aside something small or big and eliminating discriminatory attitudes on a particular person will make truth and confidence lead to happiness.

Abstract

This article describes the concept of educational interaction in education in a sociological perspective. Sociology has a point of view, certain methods and arrangements. It can be clearly stated that the object of sociology is the study of people in groups, by looking at the nature of society, culture and individuals scientifically. The sociology of education in particular can be interpreted as sociology applied to solve fundamental educational problems that focus on the investigation of the interdependent areas between sociology and the science of education. Educational interaction can be interpreted as a relation activity of various educational elements, educators, administrative staff, and students. The point of interaction in general is a reciprocal relationship among individuals that occur in the community. Educational interaction can only be created if an educator meets the competence and professionalism in the learning process and understands the background of students. An educator plays an important role in creating educational interaction in school. Educational interaction is seen in the implementation of the learning process or the learning stages of an educator. Educational interactions between educators and students are expected to be achieved optimally if there is an awareness of educators that the noble task in teaching and educating students are comprehensive. An educator will be happy and have satisfaction if his or her students succeed.

The facilitator and mediator aspects are the most frequently performed by single parent, while the aspect of the motivator is the least done by a single parent. This is because a single parent is more focused on the economic condition of the family. Single mothers are better able to portray the three aspects of roles as motivators, facilitators, and mediators than parent fathers.
