Abstract

The use of instructional media in schools is not optimized, causing student motivation and attention when attending lessons is still low. Based on the daily test scores, the grade completeness was only 39%. Therefore, the authors try to overcome these problems by utilizing instructional media, through classroom action research (CAR). This study aims to describe the implementation of learning by utilizing instructional media and to describe the increase in activity and learning outcomes of class VIIE students of SMP Negeri 6 Purwodadi on the subject of analyzing reports. For this reason, this research design uses classroom action research whose activities consist of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting which is divided into two cycles. The subjects of this study were 31 students of class VIIE SMP Negeri 6 Purwodadi in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year. The research data were obtained by observation and test methods. Abstract

For private vocational schools such as SMK At-Thoat Toroh, the acquisition of new students is very important. Because the number of students has a direct effect on the sustainability of the school. In obtaining new students, SMK At-Thoat Toroh not only competes with fellow private SMK / SMA / MA, but also public SMK / SMA / MA. There needs to be an increase in competitiveness in acquiring new students at SMK At-Thoat Toroh. Because the trend of new student admissions at SMK At-Thoat Toroh has decreased, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The solution offered in this study for this problem is to formulate a strategic information system design and information technology using the Ward and Peppard method. Ward and Peppard's method is able to produce IS / IT strategies that are in line with business strategies. The first stage in applying this method in this research is the analysis of current conditions, both the organization as a whole and the IS / IT aspect. The next stage is an analysis of IS / IT needs in the future. The final stage is the preparation of IS / IT strategic steps. To analyze each of these stages, analysis tools are needed, namely: SWOT, critical success factor, Mc Farlan Strategic, PEST, IS / IT trends and value chains. The implementation of the Ward and Peppard method and their analysis tools, is able to identify and recommend IS / IT needs at SMK At-Thoat Toroh for the next 3 years. However, the resulting recommendations must be adjusted to the school budget.

Abstract

Learning arts and culture, especially music, is a learning that requires practice. But before doing practice, of course, there must be a theory that underlies it first, or it can be simultaneously when learning theory includes elements of practice too. The role of the teacher as a facilitator is very important, because it is from the teacher that knowledge that was initially only imagined by students, becomes a real reality. This is what underlies the researchers to develop a learning method that can stimulate student activity and make the classroom atmosphere come alive. This method is called Enjoyable Learning, which is a method that develops songs from basic musical knowledge and then teaches them through singing. The development method in this study uses the 4-D development method. This method consists of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, namely defining, designing, developing, and distributing. However, due to the limited time of the study, the researcher only carried out research until the Develop stage, so that the development method in this study was modified by the researcher to be 3-D. Small-scale trials were conducted on two X graders at SMAN 1 Baureno. A large-scale trial was conducted on all X graders at SMAN 1 Baureno. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of the Enjoyable Learning learning method using song media on basic music knowledge material uses the APIK technique to package material using interesting, easy to teach and make the class more lively. Suggestions for teachers, to make music learning easier in schools, teachers can use appropriate learning methods, one of which is the Enjoyable Learning method.
