Abstract

A good management information system has an influence on the effectiveness of employees' work, including in hospitals. In the pharmacy unit of the Bukittinggi Islamic Hospital, there are several shortcomings in the management information system, such as the input of new drugs that are not directly connected to the management information system at the hospital which causes disruption of waiting times for services at the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of management information systems on work effectiveness in the pharmacy unit of the Islamic Hospital Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi. This study uses a cross sectional research method. The study population was all employees in the pharmacy unit of the Islamic Hospital Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi with a sample of 31 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data analysis technique is univariate and using structural equation path (smartPLS). The results showed that the t-table value was 1.96 with t-count 0.256, this indicates that t-count t-table means that there is no significant effect of management information systems on work effectiveness in the pharmacy unit of Ibnu Sina Islamic Hospital, Bukittinggi. Based on the r-square, the management information system is only able to affect the work effectiveness of employees by 64.1%, while 35.9% work effectiveness is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Stunting or short stature is a term used for children whose height is below average (<-2 SD) of the same sex, chronological age and ideally from the same racial-ethnic group. Stunting can cause children to experience health problems during their growth and development, even irreversible. In the short term, stunting causes a slowdown in the process of growth and development and in the long term it will have an impact on cognitive aspects and the possibility of non-communicable diseases. Therefore, the incidence of stunting is an indicator of child welfare in a country. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Bakunase Community Health Center, Kupang City. This type of research is an analytical survey, with a case control design. The number of samples was 136 people which were divided into 68 case groups and 68 control groups. The data analysis technique used the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that there was a relationship between mother's knowledge (p value = 0.000, OR = 6.667), mother's attitude (p value = 0.000, OR = 5.808), mother's parenting style (p value = 0.000, OR = 5.093), living environment ( p value = 0.000, OR = 7.538), and the incidence of diarrhea (p value = 0.002, OR = .3.175) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Working Area of the Bakunase Health Center, Kupang City. Therefore, health promotion and cross-sector cooperation are needed to overcome the problem of stunting.

This study uses a quantitative descriptive method, with the technique of taking total sampling or saturated samples on 66 medical records for the period July 2022. The results of the research obtained with 66 samples related to traffic accident patients. Obtained the results of the accuracy of 66 appropriate injury diagnosis codes (100%) and 0 inappropriate (0%). The results of the accuracy of the external cause code obtained 66 (0%) external cause codes cannot be assessed because external cause coding activities have not been carried out. Only have SPO specifically for coding diagnoses in general, SPO specifically for external causes is not yet available. Of the 5 inhibiting factors studied, 3 inhibiting factors were obtained that caused the inaccuracy of external cause coding, namely Man, Money, and Material.
