Abstract

Background: At the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by the outbreak of a new virus, namely the new type of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and the disease is called Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). It is known, the origin of this virus came from Wuhan, China. The entry of the corona virus in Indonesia has had a major impact on people's lives, the spread of the Corona virus or COVID-19 in Indonesia must be prevented as much as possible. One of the main ways is to apply a disciplined lifestyle. So, with that we must always take the 3M steps, namely wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, as an effort to prevent and break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. One of the methods of conducting health education is with a focus group discussion (FGD). Objective: To determine the effect of focus group discussions (FGD) on the implementation of 3M (Washing Hands, Wearing Masks and Keeping Distance) Method: The design of this research is a quasi-experimental with a population of people living in the village of Pemurus Banjarmasin. The research sample was 30 respondents. The research design was one group pre-test and post-test. The independent variable Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and the dependent variable 3M implementation were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the Wilcoxon statistical test results were significant, namely 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 as a predetermined level (p < ) and it can be stated that there is a very significant influence between the FGD and the application of 3M in Pemurus Dalam Village, Banjarmasin. Conclusion: The results of this study were obtained if there was a very significant influence between the FGD and the application of 3M in Pemurus Dalam Village, Banjarmasin

Abstract

Background: Due to the large number of patient visits to the Emergency Room, a triage system is needed to sort out patients who are prioritized to get service first to anticipate patient density and avoid patients not being helped or dying due to not getting help quickly. The distribution of triage is one of the common causes for families to feel anxious, especially if the family does not understand the triage system used, they will feel neglected and fear if their family members do not get immediate health care. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between patient triage and family anxiety levels in the Emergency Room. Method: This study used a qualitative approach with cross sectional design and 107 people. Sampling technique using Consecutive Sampling. Result: Statistical test results using Spearman Rank obtained p value = 0.012. Conclusion: There is a relationship triage of patients with family anxiety levels in the Emergency Room.

Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between age, gender, level of education, length of work and nurse compliance in the implementation of triage for Covid 19 patients in the ER Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital. Method: This study used a cross sectional design. The population was all nurses who served in the ER taken with a total population technique of 33 people. Data analysis using Spearman Rank. Result: The results of the study found that there was a relationship between age and nurse compliance in the implementation of triage for Covid 19 patients with a value of = 0.004 and the strength of the relationship was moderate (r = 0.492), there was a relationship between gender and nurse compliance with a value of = 0.000 and the strength of a strong relationship (r = 0.686), there is a relationship between the level of education and nurse compliance with a value of = 0.036 and the strength of the relationship is moderate (r = 0.367) and there is a relationship between length of work and nurse compliance with a value of = 0.001 and the strength of a strong relationship (r = 0.563). Conclusion: Nurses who have not complied should be given training or socialization about COVID-19 triage.

Abstract

Background: Chronic kidney failure is one of the main health problems in the world, where this disease can completely stop kidney function. Apart from transplantation, the only treatment that can be done is hemodialysis therapy to help the patient survive. Patient compliance in undergoing therapy is an important thing to note, otherwise this can worsen his health condition. Factors that strengthen individuals to comply in undergoing hemodialysis are support that comes from the closest people such as family and from within oneself (self-efficacy). Objective: This study aims to determine the correlation between family support, self-efficacy and hemodialysis compliance in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital. Method: This type of quantitative research uses a correlational research design with a sample of 25 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet and analyzed using the spearman rank statistical test. Result: Based on the results of the analysis, the correlation between family support and self-efficacy obtained p-value = 0.002 which means there is a significant correlation between family support and self-efficacy, correlation analysis between family support and hemodialysis compliance is obtained p-value = 0.000. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between family support and self-efficacy in chronic renal failure patients  hemodialysis.
