Abstract

This research aims to find out and identify the Public Relations Communication Strategy of the Bank Mandiri Branch Office in Padang City to the Public in Socializing Livin' By Mandiri Mobile Banking, seen from the PR communication strategy, in socializing it, as well as the challenges faced when socializing it. The Public Relations Communication Strategy of the Bank Mandiri Branch Office in Padang City to the Public was carried out to introduce Livin' by Mandiri, increase users, build brand image and increase brand awareness. The Public Relations Communication Strategy for the Bank Mandiri Branch Office in Padang City was planned by the Retail Transaction Banking Officer Marketing unit division which was acquired by the General Banking Manager and implemented by all Bank Mandiri employees. To describe this research, the author uses the PENCILS theory by Philip Kotler. In this theory there are seven elements in it which are public relations strategies which are also found in every KC strategy of Bank Mandiri in the city of Padang, including Publications, Events, News, Community Involvement, Identity Media, Lobbying, Social Investment.The Public Relations Communication Strategy of the Bank Mandiri Branch Office in Padang City applies Philip Kotler's PENCILS theory to every strategy they implement, however there are still challenges that must be faced by the Retail Transaction Banking Officer Marketing unit division as public relations for the Mandiri bank branch office in Padang city towards the public.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the implementation of social media marketing on the Solok branch of CV. Padang Gadget Indonesia via social media Instagram at the end of 2023 program, both in terms of strategy, implementation, and challenges. The social media marketing strategy implemented by CV. Padang Gadget Indonesia Solok branch is to improve brand awareness, increase sales, and expand market reach. As one of the most massive sources of information, social media is a very effective and efficient marketing channel. To describe this research, researchers used the AIDDA theory. In this theory there are 5 (five) stages / social media marketing strategies, namely Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, and Action. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, research that produces descriptive data in the form of writing or speech, as well as the behavior of people being observed. This method is applied to describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually and in groups. CV. Padang Gadget Indonesia Solok branch has implemented the AIDDA theory in the social media marketing strategy they implement. For each content produced for each AIDDA theory, CV. Padang Gadget Indonesia Solok branch focuses on 3 (three) important points, which are the choice of appearance/design and content that suits the target market and a consistent narrative. In the end of 2023 program, social media marketing implementation strategy of CV. Padang Gadget Indonesia Solok branch succeeded in showing positive results. This can be seen from the increase in sales and improvements in insight on social media Instagram @padanggadget_solok. Meanwhile, the obstacle faced is managing the content creation schedule. The strategies implemented are also always evaluated at the end of each month or each program. Through this strategy, CV. Padang Gadget Indonesia Solok branch is able to become the top-of-mind and remains the main choice for their target.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain and analyze public service communication applied by Trans Metro Deli to users, especially commuter students of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. With the research method used by researchers in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. And for data collection using methods by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Trans Metro Deli implements various communication strategies to improve services to users. These include establishing open and transparent communication by providing accurate and up-todate information to users, responding quickly and effectively to complaints and feedback from user. This research is expected to make an important contribution in understanding how public service communication is implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of frontliner interpersonal communication in increasing customer satisfaction of Jakarta LRT users. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation and short interviews. The results showed that clarity of information, friendliness, and responsiveness of frontliners contributed significantly to customer satisfaction. Most respondents were satisfied with the service received Especially related to punctuality, cleanliness, and comfort. However, there are some areas that need improvement, such as addressing rush hour overcrowding and improving accessibility at stations. The conclusion of this study confirms the importance of effective interpersonal communication in building a positive experience and increasing customer loyalty to Jakarta LRT services.

Abstract

This study investigates the symbolic meaning of tradition and tries to explain the Mappacci symbols of Bugis Traditional weddings in Pomburea Village, East Kolaka Regency, Lambandia District. The employed qualitative descriptive research methodology in this research is Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis. The research data comes from the symbols used in the Bugis Traditional Mappacci wedding procession from the Pomburea Village community. This study shows that mapacci is used in three main stages: Mapacci, Barasanji, and Khamatal Al-Qur'an. 2) The Mappacci ceremony, which is interpreted as "clean" and "holy", aims to cleanse the soul and body of the bride and groom before starting household ark by cleaning everything, including "Mappaccing ati" (clean heart), "Mappaccing nawanawa" (clean mind), "Mappaccing pangkaukeng" (clean actions and behavior), and "Mappaccing ateka" (clean faith) and the symbolic meaning of the Mappacci process is: (1) The pillow represents honor, glory, dignity, and mutual respect (sipakatau); (2) the silk sarong represents self-respect, sitat istikamah, and perseverance; (3) the leaves of banana shoots represent mutual connection or continuous life; (4) the leaves of jackfruit represent noble ideals or hope and honesty; (5) the leaves of pacci represent cleanliness or purity; and (6) rice represents well-developed, blooming, and good living creatures.(8), means unity, (9) young coconut and brown sugar: both represent sweetness

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of traditional leaders' communication in Nagari Padang Laweh Malalo in resolving customary land disputes in Tanah Datar Regency. Customary land disputes often lead to prolonged and complex conflicts within indigenous communities. To address this issue, the study employs a qualitative approach, gathering data through semi-structured interviews with traditional leaders and direct field observations. The findings indicate that traditional leaders play a vital role in mediating and resolving disputes, which serves as a benchmark in customary land conflict resolution. They prioritize consensus-building and active community participation in the conflict resolution process. Respect for traditional customs has proven effective in achieving fair and sustainable solutions. Additionally, collaboration among traditional leaders, government authorities, and legal institutions strengthens efforts to resolve disputes, thereby fostering harmony and stability within the community. In conclusion, this study confirms that effective communication and mediation strategies rooted in customary values are key to addressing customary land disputes in Nagari Padang Laweh Malalo. These findings provide valuable insights for managing land conflicts in other indigenous communities and reinforce the role of traditional leaders in promoting peace and justice within society

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Analysis of the Production Process of Padang Pagi Ini News Broadcast Program at Pro 1 Radio Republik Indonesia Padang". The purpose of this research is to find out the production process of the news broadcast program "Padang Pagi Ini" at Pro 1 RRI Padang and to find out the factors that influence the production process of the news broadcast "Padang Pagi Ini" at Pro 1 RRI Padang. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. As a qualitative descriptive researcher, the researcher will only describe the situation or event, not looking for relationships, not testing hypotheses or making predictions. the results showed that the stages of the production process of "Padang Pagi Ini" are the same as the production process of radio programs in general, including: pre-production stages, production stages, post-production stages and factors affecting news production at RRI Padang are human resources, technology, content management, broadcasting regulations, and audience feedback. The production team consists of journalists, reporters, producers, editors, and technicians who have competencies and experience that affect the quality of the news presented. Technology such as digital cameras, video editing software and digital transmission systems facilitate the news production process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of Instagram Social Media as a Promotional Media for Tankayo Eco Park Sharia Malalo Tourism Object. Role is defined as having a positive meaning and is expected to be able to influence or achieve company goals. The role of Instagram social media is carried out as a result of advances in communication and internet technology which have caused significant changes in consumer behavior in seeking information. To describe this research using the AISAS theory created by Dentsu, 2005, there are 5 elements in this model, namely attention, interest, search, action, and share. This research uses qualitative methods through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the management of the Tankayo Eco Park Syariah tourist attraction made Instagram the main platform in carrying out its promotional activities. Instagram social media acts as a promotional media for Tankayo Eco Park Syariah attractions by posting content in the form of photos and videos to introduce Tankayo to potential visitors carried out by the Instagram admin. Tankayo Eco Park Syariah also receives free promotions obtained through the Instagram accounts of visitors who create content and tag Tankayo Eco Park Syariah Instagram. The use of Instagram social media by Tankayo Eco Park Syariah is able to attract visitors to come directly to the attraction

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the use of social media, especially Facebook, as a means of fulfilling information needs for people with visual disabilities at the Bina Netra Tuah Sakato Social Home and what are the obstacles in its use. Technological developments, including social media, have provided wide access to users from all walks of life to communicate, share content, and get information. For people with visual impairments, the accessibility of social media such as Facebook can be important in filling their free time, sharing activities, and finding information relevant to their interests. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The results showed that the informants have various different motivations in using Facebook based on the purpose of each informant. The use of Facebook provides satisfaction for each informant. And from the interview results the results obtained that Facebook provides satisfaction in accordance with the purpose of using each informant. And obstacles in the utilization of Facebook by blind people cannot be separated from the limitations they have.

Abstract

Abstracts This study aims to evaluate the influence of store atmosphere on customers' impulse buying behaviour, specifically at MINISO at Trans Studio Mall Bandung. MINISO is a specialized retail store that offers a wide range of household and consumer goods, such as cosmetics, stationary, toys, and kitchenware. The study examines the impact of cleanliness, lighting and colour, and display or layout on cognitive behaviour. It involves a sample of 100 participants who visited MINISO, including both residents of Bandung and individuals from outside places. Correlation study indicates that cleanliness did not have a significant impact on cognitive behaviour. However, there were strong links observed between lighting and colour, as well as presentation or layout. The findings emphasize the significance of establishing an enjoyable retail environment to enhance customer happiness, yet these do not have a significant impact on stimulating impulsive purchasing behaviour.
