Abstract

The success of company management is largely determined by the activities of utilizing human resources, where company managers must really pay attention to the attitudes, behavior, desires and needs of employees so that these employees can be encouraged to improve their performance. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between leadership and empowerment on employee performance mediated by work motivation. The population in this study were 25 employees of Ony Comp Malang. This research uses a saturated sampling technique, so that the entire population becomes the sample in the research. The data collection method is through observation, interviews, questionnaires, while the data analysis method used is SEM-PLS with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the research show that leadership has no effect on employee performance, empowerment has an effect on employee performance, leadership has an effect on work motivation, empowerment has an effect on work motivation, work motivation has an effect on employee performance, work motivation does not mediate the relationship between leadership and employee performance, and work motivation mediates the relationship empowerment on employee performance.

Abstract

During the current era of globalization that continues to grow, there is a lot of fierce competition between existing companies. One of the impacts of globalization is the emergence of electronic nicotine conductors as electronic cigarettes or now known as vape. The purpose of this study is to analyze customer experience on customer satisfaction of onevape store consumers. The method used in this study is qualitative research using interviews and observations. The data obtained in this study uses primary data sourced from owners, employees and customers and uses secondary data sourced from interviews and observations as well as previous research. The results of the study show that the quality of service provided by Onevape Store which provides services to customers is not only limited to product sales but also with the nature of hospitality and does not hesitate to provide the knowledge and knowledge it has to its customers.

Abstract

Equitable development between the Western and Eastern regions of Indonesia is one of the major challenges in achieving national welfare. The significant development gap between these regions is caused by various factors such as centralized policies, limited infrastructure, and low human resource (HR) quality in Eastern Indonesia. The Western region, particularly Java, is more advanced in many sectors, while the Eastern region, rich in natural resources, is still lagging behind in access to education, health, and infrastructure. Several policies have been implemented by the government to reduce this gap, including the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and the Regional Autonomy program, but the results remain limited. Therefore, solutions to reduce this gap include optimizing the potential of natural resources in Eastern Indonesia, equitable infrastructure development, and empowering the private sector to invest in the Eastern region. Developing the tourism sector, resource-based industries, and improving HR quality in Eastern Indonesia are also important steps to achieving more equitable development. With the right approach, development disparities can be reduced, enabling Indonesia to achieve inclusive and just development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse HR development strategies in e-commerce companies in Pekanbaru City. Descriptive qualitative method was used involving 10 subjects from 5 largest e-commerce companies in Pekanbaru City. The results show the main challenges are rapid technological changes and the need for digital skills. The strategies implemented include continuous training, digital talent recruitment, performance management system improvement, and technology adoption for HR management optimisation. A thorough evaluation was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the strategies in supporting digital transformation. This research provides an in-depth understanding of HR development in the e-commerce era.

Abstract

The role of strategic human resource management is the main key in changing company management to achieve competitive advantage. To make this happen, the Human Resources Manager (HR Manager) must be able to carry out the strategic role of HR and provide added value to the company so that competitive advantage can be achieved. However, not many new HR Manager roles have been implemented by mid-level companies, let alone small companies. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and identifying the strategic role of HR Managers in anticipating current business competition, the strategic role of HR Managers, and using HR as a factor to create a company's competitive advantage. This research was conducted using qualitative methods in the mid-level hotel industry in the city of Pekanbaru. The underlying philosophical assumption is positivist. The data collection technique uses semi-structured interviews. Data analysis uses coding with NVivo International 10 software. The themes used are the role of the HR Manager in contributing to business competition and the strategic role of the HR Manager in creating the company's competitive advantage which is analyzed based on the number of coding references. The result was that there were three participants who had carried out strategic HR roles. Meanwhile, the HR theme as a factor in achieving a company's competitive advantage is analyzed based on a text search query which produces a word tree. The result is that HR is used as a factor to achieve the company's competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the relationship between brand image, price, and product quality with partial repurchase interest, then the relationship between brand image, price, and product quality simultaneously on repurchase interest in Menantea products. This type of research is causal associative research with a quantitative method approach; the sample is determined through a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique, while the number of samples is determined based on the formula according to Hair et al. (2010) with the formula n x 5 and obtained from 100 respondents who have purchased menantea beverage products and are domiciled in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi areas. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that repurchase interest in Menantea beverage products is influenced by price and product quality, but brand image has not been able to influence repurchase interest. Thus, through the findings of this study, there can be an evaluation of menantea and, on an ongoing basis, the desire of customers to gain repurchase interest from supporting factors, namely brand image, price, and product quality.

Abstract

Economic growth is an indicator that determines the success of a region's economy. East Java is one of the provinces that has experienced problems with declining economic growth. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bureau of Statistics which shows that East Java's economic growth fluctuated throughout 2015-2022. This means that there is economic instability in East Java which is the main problem. This study aims to determine the effect of human development index, regional minimum wage, and population on economic growth in East Java. The research method used is quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques processed using Eviews-9 software. The data used in this study were obtained secondary from the East Java Central Bureau of Statistics. The number of samples used was 38 districts/cities in East Java in the 8-year research period with a total of 304. The partial results showed that the human development index had a significant positive effect, the regional minimum wage had no effect, and population had a no significant negative effect on economic growth. Simultaneously, the independent variables have a significant positive effect on economic growth and are able to influence economic growth by 11.5% while the rest is influenced by other factors that have not been studied.

Abstract

Lately, a wide variety of fintech lending-based loan offers (online loans) through applications can be found on all platforms. Many people are interested in using the service because of its easy requirements, large limits, long tenors, and fast disbursement processes. However, behind the attractive offer, there are several adverse effects including interest rates that are contrary to the principles of muamalah Islam. This study aims to describe the mechanism of fintech lending-based lending services in the Adapundi application and analyze the elements of riba practices in it based on Sharia economic law. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research method used in this study is library research. The source of data in this study is the fintech lending application (online loans) Adapundi and its official website. The results of this study indicate that: (1) fintech-based loans lending is considered a quick and easy financial solution, but in its operation, there is an interest system that is prohibited in Islam. (2) there are two types of riba in the practice of lending money in the application of Adapundi, namely riba qardh and riba jahiliyah. The addition of the principal loan amount of 0.03% to 0.3% per day which is riba qardh and late penalties (between 1-7 days) which will be charged interest of 1.2% per day from the principal is riba jahiliyah.

Abstract

This research is useful for looking at the influence of work environment, flexibility on job satisfaction and competence. This research took as its object a BPJS Employment company office, Pematang Siantar and Kisaran Branches. The lack of work environment at BPJS Employment Pematang Siantar and Kisaran Branches can also affect work flexibility, because these two things have a close continuity. In fact, the conditions of the work environment around the research have several problems for the employees who work there. Employee discomfort at work will certainly affect employee flexibility so that the satisfaction of company officials will certainly have an influence. Even though the assessment of the work environment is again a personal assessment of each employee, in general, in fact, this actually has an influence on work flexibility and job satisfaction. Several things that happened at BPJS Employment Pematang Siantar and Kisaran Branches were the lack of communication between employees and even between employees and superiors, which was one of the reasons for the poor working environment conditions. This lack of communication between employees will cause new problems that will affect work flexibility and possibly even more employees' future. The results of this research are as follows: Work Flexibility has a positive and insignificant effect on Job Satisfaction with an original sample value of 0.161 and an ap value of 0.154. Work Flexibility has a positive and significant effect on Competency with an original sample value of 0.786 p value 0.000. Competency has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction with an original sample value of 0.583 and ap value of 0.000. Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction with an original sample value of 0.193 and ap value of 0.016. Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Competency with an original sample value of 0.165 and ap value of 0.016. Job Flexibility has a positive and significant indirect effect on Job Satisfaction through Job Satisfaction with a value of 0.457 and a value of 0.000. Work Environment has a positive and significant indirect effect on Job Satisfaction through competency with an original sample value of 0.096 and ap value of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of public service quality, transparency, and accountability on public trust in the village government. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data sources obtained through distributing questionnaires to village communities in Batang Regency, and successfully obtained 100 respondents. Data analysis in this study was carried out using the multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS software version 27. The results of this study indicate that the quality of public services has a significant effect on public trust in the village government. Likewise with the accountability variable, which shows a significant effect on public trust. However, the transparency variable does not have a significant effect on public trust. Meanwhile, when viewed together, the variables of public service quality, transparency, and accountability simultaneously affect public trust. This study emphasizes the importance of these three variables in building public trust in the village government. If the village government is able to provide good service, be transparent and accountable, the community will be more confident that the government is able to manage the village well. This will increase public trust in the village government.
