Abstract

This research aims to improve students critical thinking skills through the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) learning approach in First High Schools (SMP) in the Pancasila and Civic Education subject by applying the problem-based learning (PBL) model. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This classroom action research was carried out through 2 (two) cycles. The subjects of this research were students in class VII-C, totaling 38 students. Data collection through test and observation techniques. Quantitative data analysis is used to analyze the increase in students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila an Civic Education subjects. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with the TPACK learning approach can improve the critical thinking abilities of class VII-C students at SMPN 12 Madiun city in the 2024/2025 academic year. Abstract

This study aims to determine the fulfillment of the right to education for foster children at the Blitar Class 1 Child Special Development Institution and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Primary data collection and secondary data. Data is collected through interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the right to education for foster children in special coaching institutions for children has not been fully fulfilled. However, efforts to implement education continue to be carried out as well as possible considering the importance of education for children who are serving a criminal period. Based on John Rawls' theory of justice, this study found that equality and distributive justice have not been fully realized. This research provides suggestions for the government to improve education policies and practices that are more equitable and inclusive for children who are in conflict with the law.

Abstract

Villages as the smallest aspect of a country have a very significant role in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. This study aims to identify problems that occur in the process of collecting and updating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) data in Tambakrejo Village as well as efforts made by working group volunteers to overcome problems in the SDGs data collection process. The informants in this study are village heads, village secretaries, government heads, village admins, and data collection enumerators who are members of a data collection working group for the SDGs of Tambakrejo Village. The data collection technique uses semi-structured in-depth interviews and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using Edward III's Policy Implementation Theory. The results of this study show that there are problems faced by volunteers in collecting and updating Tambakrejo Village SDGs data, including the lack of enumerator competence in communicating with the community. The absence of coordination between villages makes it difficult to collect data on mutated residents, and low village commitment results in data not being updated thoroughly. Limited resources, including network constraints, and application maintenance, are also obstacles, plus the double burden faced by enumerators who also serve as PKK cadres. In addition, filling out complicated forms as part of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and unsynchronized data resulted in inaccurate targets in providing assistance.

Abstract

The desire to establish a tourist village aims to empower the community to play a role in increasing the potential and attractiveness of tourism in their area. This study was conducted to describe the role of the village government in developing Setigi tourism in Sekapuk Village into an international tourist village. Qualitative research approach. The focus of the study is the role of the village government in internationalizing the Sekapuk tourist village. The research location is in Sekapuk Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik. The research subjects were five people consisting of Abdul Halim, Mundhor, M. Lutfi Tsalis Af Hami, Asjudi, and M. Ubaidillah. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman technique through four stages of data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions correlated with the theory of the role of the village government according to Blakely. The results of the study show that the village government, BUMDesa Sekapuk, Pokdarwis Pelangi, the Miliader Village Training Center (PDDM) and BPD have succeeded in building and introducing the Sekapuk tourist village through the famous Setigi tourism in world tourism. The purpose of building the Setigi tourism which utilizes the former limestone mining land has succeeded in opening up employment opportunities for the Sekapuk community so that it has received appreciation from various ministries and several countries. The Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (PDTT) chose the Sekapuk tourism village to represent Indonesia to become part of an international organization. Activities carried out by the village government during the development of the Sekapuk tourism village include preparing human resources, participating in various tourism village competitions, and attending international organization conferences.

Abstract

he interest in learning in children on the Kenjeran coast is still relatively low. Low interest in learning can be recognized through behavior such as not being serious about learning, getting bored quickly, trying to avoid learning activities and being lazy in learning. Children's interest in learning is very important so that children remain enthusiastic about getting an education. The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the form of problematic learning interest in children on the Kenjeran coast (2) the causal factors in the problematic learning interest in children on the Kenjeran coast. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using data analysis techniques by Miles Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the form of problematic learning interest in children on the Kenjeran coast were 1) feelings of dislike for certain subjects 2) coastal children's interest in learning was still lacking 3) understanding of disliked subject matter was still lacking. Problems occur due to internal and external factors. Internal factors come from children who do not yet have an awareness of the need to learn which is still lacking because of a lack of motivation and high enthusiasm that has not been instilled in the child. While external factors come from the parental environment and friendship environment. Factors originating from the parental environment occur due to a lack of parental support and attention, the socio-economic limitations of parents so that children involve themselves in their parents' work, and the low level of parental education.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Indonesian roots program at SMKN 1 Rejotangan, Tulungagung Regency, and identify obstacles in implementing the Indonesian roots program at SMKN 1 Rejotangan, Tulungagung Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The theory used in this research is George C. Edward III's theory of policy implementation. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this research consisted of the Principal, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Counseling Guidance Teacher/Facilitator Teacher, change agent students, and several student representatives from classes X, XI, XII of SMKN 1 Rejotangan. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained in this research indicate that the implementation of the Indonesian roots program at SMKN 1 Rejotangan consists of several stages, namely (1) Selection of teacher facilitators, (2) Training of teacher facilitators, (3) Initial survey and selection of students as agents of change, ( 4) Training for students as agents of change, (5) Actions for students as agents of change and teacher facilitators, (6) Student-based actions which include outreach, declarations, anti-bullying campaigns, and art and work performances. Obstacles in implementing the Indonesian roots program at SMKN 1 Rejotangan include the difficulty of regenerating teacher facilitators, limited interaction with implementers, parents' doubts about the role of students as agents of change, difficulties in arranging training schedules, low student awareness of the dangers of bullying, and limited financial resources for support program needs. Abstract

Access variation means that the entry point to access on social media is mainly used as a political campaign platform by candidate pairs that can influence the political culture of generation Z including cognitive, affective and evaluative so that it can influence the political choices that will be used in the Election. This study aims to determine the relationship between variations in social media campaign access and the political culture of generation Z on the issue of the 2024 election. The population in this study was all generation Z in Sidoarjo Regency with the Quota Sampling method which took 6 respondents from each sub-district in Sidoarjo so that 108 samples were obtained. The data analysis method used Spearman correlation analysis with prerequisite tests in the form of normality and linearity tests. The results of this study are that there is a positive and significant relationship between variations in access to the political culture of generation Z Sidoarjo with a Spearman correlation value of 0.542 and generation Z data which is classified as sufficient with a percentage of 33%. So it can be concluded that the higher the variation of access, the higher the political culture owned, so the type of political culture owned by generation Z Sidoarjo in its role in accessing social media political campaign issues is also included in a mixed political culture, namely a semi-participatory political culture of the people. In addition, generation Z is quite active in expressing their preferences for candidate pairs through access to social media political campaigns, but they do not involve various issues too much in interfering with political decisions that will be used in the Election

Abstract

Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan merupakan dasar mata pelajaran untuk pembentukan moral dan ideologis bagi generasi yang sesuai dengan ideology bangsa Indonesia yaitu Pancasila. Oleh karena itu, seorang pendidik harus mampu membentuk karakter siswa dengan berdasar nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasila yang meliputi aspek spiritual, sosial, mental, dan emosional, terutama dalam pembelajaran PPKn di sekolah. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakter religius terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran  PPKn. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya yang dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner berupa angket kepada siswa kelas VIII A-J. Sebanyak 262 responden berhasil dikumpulkan dan ikut berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan selanjutnya akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakter religius terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter religius peserta didik memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan yaitu sebesar 38%, akan tetapi masih tergolong rendah dalam mempengaruhi motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, masih perlu berbagai upaya yang harus dilakukan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan

Abstract

This study aims to examine the political preferences of novice voters related to the use of Instagram in the 2024 Presidential Election in South Tambun District. The focus of this research is how the intensity of Instagram use, consistency of access, and variety of content can affect the tendency of voters to vote or not vote. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method through a survey of 100 respondents of novice voters aged 17-25 years in South Tambun District. The data in the study were collected through an online questionnaire and then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. This research was conducted based on the phenomenon that occurred in the 2024 Presidential Election, namely the high involvement of novice voters, because they accounted for 55% of the total registered voters, exceeding half of the total number of permanent voter lists. The results showed that respondents' political preferences were evenly split, with 50% of respondents tending to exercise their right to vote, while the other 50% chose not to participate in the 2024 Presidential Election. The variety of content on Instagram proved to be a major factor that can influence voters' political decisions, with 76% of respondents who use Instagram sticking to their initial choice, while 24% changed their choice after being exposed to political content. In addition, 86% of voters who initially did not intend to vote eventually decided to participate after being exposed to content on Instagram. The conclusion of this study is that Instagram plays a role in facilitating the formation and change of political preferences among first-time voters, making it an effective platform for candidates and political parties to reach young voters in the digital age.

Abstract

Patriarchal culture still developing in various aspects of life, one of which is the aspect of work. In terms of work, it is not spared from the influence of patriarchal culture, as happened to women workers in the chemical industry "X" in Krian District who experienced marginalization of female workers in industry "X" in the form of limited job opportunities, then subordination in the form of unavailability of career paths for female workers. Therefore, it is necessary to know what causes women workers to receive injustice, as well as the response of women workers to these injustices. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of marginalization and subordination in women workers and reveal the responses taken by women workers when experiencing marginalization and subordination. The theory used is Naomi Wolf's Liberal Feminist Theory, this theory views that women have the same position as men. The method used is an exploratory qualitative method with a narrative study approach collecting data through interviews and observations. The results of this study explain that the causes of marginalization and subordination are external and internal factors. The external causes of marginalization are the patriarchal culture that is still inherent in society, the stereotyping of women workers who are considered weak, as well as the poverty and powerlessness of working women. Then the external factors that cause subordination are social stigma that considers women weak, limited access for female workers to get career paths. Furthermore, the internal factors that are the cause are the patriarchal values and the belief of women workers in gender roles that have been shaped by the social environment and society. Marginalization and subordination of workers will continue if women workers are still invented by the patriarchal values that exist in society.
