Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the PEKA Program (Prevention, Countermeasures, and Anti-Violence and Anti-Bullying Campaign) at SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya as a systematic effort to reduce and prevent bullying in the school environment. Bullying is a serious problem that has a negative impact on students' physical, psychological, and social health, so a comprehensive and collaboration-based approach between all elements of the school is needed. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a mixed methods approach, involving data collection through quantitative surveys, in-depth interviews, and participatory observations with Grade 10 students, teachers, and parents. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to measure changes in bullying cases and thematic analysis to explore stakeholders' perceptions and experiences related to program implementation. The results showed that the PEKA Program succeeded in reducing various forms of bullying, such as physical bullying, verbal bullying, and social exclusion with a total decrease in cases of 57.1%. The application of the gotong royong principle integrated in the program and the use of digital flipbook media as an interactive educational tool proved effective in increasing students' awareness of the importance of cooperation, empathy, and respect for differences. In addition, the program was able to create a more inclusive, safe and conducive school environment for learning. However, the research also identified challenges related to the sustainability of the program, particularly the need for ongoing training for teachers as well as increased parental involvement in supporting bullying prevention. This study concludes that the PEKA Program makes a significant contribution to students' character building based on Pancasila values as well as a model that can be replicated in other schools to create a learning environment free from bullying. Keywords: bullying, mutual cooperation, character education, PEKA program.

Abstract

Pancasila as the basic ideology of the Indonesian nation has an important role in shaping student character. The conservation of Pancasila values is pursued in Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) as one of the study programs at Semarang State University (UNNES) which is a conservation-minded university. This research aims to analyze and explore the strategy of Pancasila value conservation that is internalized among PGSD UNNES students as the basis for character development in the life of the nation and state. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach conducted in the PGSD UNNES study program. Data collection methods in this study are interviews, documentation, and observation. The research subjects were students, lecturers, and campus leaders. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Pancasila value conservation strategy in the PGSD UNNES Study Program proved effective in shaping student character holistically. The strategy includes value assessment through reflective discussions and scientific activities; active learning through compulsory courses based on Pancasila values; implementation through student involvement in Tri Dharma activities; and actualization in campus culture and student organization activities. These four aspects form an integrated and sustainable character education ecosystem. Students show improvement in social awareness, concern for the environment, tolerance for diversity, and the ability to practice the noble values of Pancasila in everyday life. In addition, active involvement in social and cultural activities is an indicator of the success of value internalization. However, the implementation of this conservation faces challenges in the form of the influence of globalization, inconsistency of role models, and limited space for actualization. Nevertheless, the conservation of Pancasila values remains relevant and significant as the foundation of character building for future educators.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the manifestation of anti-corruption attitudes in the learning behavior of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) Surabaya State University (Unesa), using quantitative descriptive methods and the Gordon William Allport Attitude Component Theory approach, this study focuses on four main attitudes, namely honest, brave, caring, and responsible. The results of the study indicate that students' understanding of anti-corruption values is still low, with 99.1% of respondents having poor understanding and only 0.3% having sufficient understanding. From the affective variable, as many as 73.5% of students showed a positive attitude towards anti-corruption values in learning behavior. However, from the conative variable, only 25.4% of students actually apply these values in their academic behavior with the formulation of the problem how do Fisipol students understand anti-corruption attitudes, anti-corruption attitudes in Fisipol students in their learning behavior, the manifestation of anti-corruption attitudes of Fisipol Unesa students in their learning behavior, this study also found that there are gender differences in the tendency of corrupt behavior, where 88.2% of male students are indicated to have committed corrupt acts in learning, such as cheating and plagiarism, while only 29.4% of female students do the same. This finding indicates that the stereotype factor that develops in society, men are taught to be brave so that it can make men more reckless to commit corrupt behavior. This causes inconsistency between low cognitive, on the other hand affective attention to the rejection of corruption and high anti-corruption actions but not accompanied by low manifestations of anti-corruption actions. This is influenced by several factors including greed, opportunity and need. Keywords : Anti-corruption attitude, Learning Behavior, Fisipol Students

Abstract

Civics subjects develop three important domains in students, namely: attitudes, skills and knowledge. One of the instruments in learning that contributes to developing these three domains is learning resources. One of the learning resources relevant to PPKn is the local wisdom of the Indonesian people. This study aims to explore Sasak local wisdom that can be used as a learning resource and its relevance to junior high school PPKn material. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The type of research is classified as ethnograpy research. Data collection was carried out using interview and documentation techniques. The collected data were then analyzed using an interactive model consisting of: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are that all junior high school PPKn materials are relevant to Sasak local wisdom. That is, every junior high school PPKn material can use Sasak local wisdom as a learning resource. The form of relevance consists of two types, namely; content relevance (substantive) and value relevance (valuative). Substantive relevance means that Sasak local wisdom is relevant to junior high school PPKn material. The valuative relevance means that the values in Sasak local wisdom are relevant to the values in PPKn junior high school. So, it can be concluded that Sasak local wisdom can be a learning resource for junior high school in PPKn subject that can develop students' knowledge and character.

Abstract

Kahoot is an internet-based learning media that has a feature in the form of a quiz game. This study aims to test the use of "kahoot" as an assessment media that can improve student motivation and learning outcomes. This research method uses Quasi-Experimental Design. Researchers use the Posttest Only Control Design design so that the effect of treatment can be calculated by comparing the values in the control class and the experimental class. Data collection techniques consist of giving tests through the kahoot application and student response questionnaires to the use of kahoot getting a percentage of 84% and initial learning motivation of 51% with fairly good criteria and final learning motivation of 86% with very good criteria. The data analysis technique used is a hypothesis test using the one sample t test formula. Based on the results of the one sample t test hypothesis test, the test score output obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.002 <0.05, with decision making if the sig value <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, if the sig value> 0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted because sig.(2-tailed) is 0.002 < 0.05, namely the use of Kahoot as an assessment medium can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of students in the Pancasila Education subject on the material of introducing norms in everyday life.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as a response to the evolving era that drives modernization in various aspects of life. The 2013 Curriculum was subsequently revised into the Merdeka Curriculum, which incorporates P5 as a means for students to understand societal issues, take real action, and make a positive impact according to their developmental stages and needs. This research is a descriptive qualitative study, drawing data from the vice principal for curriculum, P5 coordinating teachers for grades X and XI, and students from both levels. Conducted during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year (August–September 2023), the study employed observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validity ensured through source and methodological triangulation. Findings show that P5 implementation at SMAN 8 Surabaya followed the stages of planning, execution, assessment, evaluation, and follow-up. Each phase involved collaboration among teachers, students, and external stakeholders. Students actively engaged in group work, communication, and meaningful social interaction. Projects such as creative dance and cultural theater strengthened students' understanding of local and national values, while fostering key character traits like cooperation, tolerance, independence, and critical thinking. Assessment was conducted holistically through observation, journals, portfolios, and rubrics aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions. Vygotsky’s constructivist theory was reflected in the use of Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), where teachers and peer tutors provided scaffolding to support students' development from actual to potential competence.

Abstract

Children's dependence on online games occurs in Simokerto Village, Surabaya City, even though it has many negative impacts. This makes parents try to free their children from online games by utilizing the existence of Kampoeng Dolanan. The purpose of this research is to reveal the reasons why parents in Simokerto Village provide support and describe the form of parental support for children's involvement in playing in Kampoeng Dolanan. The theory used is the Social Support Theory from James S. House. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The focus of the research is the reasons and forms of parental support in Simokerto Village for children to play in Kampoeng Dolanan. Data collection used moderate participant observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis from Miles and Huberman. The results of the research showed that there were three reasons why parents provided support for children to play in Kampoeng Dolanan, namely: (1) diverting children's attention from gadgets; (2) forming social skills; (3) introducing children to traditional games. The results of the research also showed that there were various forms of parental support in Simokerto Village which could be grouped according to James S. House's Social Support Theory. First, emotional support was found when parents gave permission and ordered children to play in Kampoeng Dolanan. Second, instrumental support was found when parents gave pocket money, transportation, accompanied, and supervised children playing. Third, information support was found when parents taught how to play traditional games and gave advice. Fourth, appreciation support was found when parents gave praise after children played in Kampoeng Dolanan. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the diversity of forms of parental support could be due to busyness and distance from home.
