Abstract

The important role of both parents in forming a child's character in growth, because parents are role models for children. Forming children's morality is certainly not easy for single parent women who have different problems compared to family problems in general, because in single parent women's families the father figure who serves as the leader figure for the family must be replaced by the single parent woman herself. This research aims to describe the problems and strategies of single-parent women in shaping children's morality in Banaran Village. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were single parent women who had teenage children. The selection of research subjects was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which has four stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using Brofenbrenner's ecological theory. The results of this research show that there are problems faced, namely 1.) Lack of opportunities to meet children, 2.) Rumors about unfavorable news in the community towards informants, 3) Children's resistance to parental advice. Then there are several strategies, namely 1.) Supervising children's behavior through relatives and neighbors, 2.) providing understanding to children, 3.) Choosing a good school environment for children, 4.) Implementing time limits in accessing media and technology as a form of supervision and control of children.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus kekerasan di lingkungan pendidikan membuat para pendidik, orang tua dan masyarakat khawatir. Pemberlakuan Permendikbudristek No. 46 Tahun 2023 tentang Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Satuan Pendidikan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) merupakan payung atau peraturan hukum terbaru dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi sekolah yang diterapkan dalam pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan. Lokasi penelitian adalah SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi peserta dan wawancara mendalam dengan Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Koordinator Bimbingan Konseling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Pendekatan ini menyangkut pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi sekolah dalam penanganan kekerasan dikategorikan menjadi tiga, yaitu kekerasan kategori ringan dengan memberikan peringatan kepada pelaku, kategori sedang melalui skorsing dan bimbingan khusus, dan kategori berat mendapatkan status siswa dicabut. Strategi pencegahan kekerasan yang dilakukan di SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo meliputi penguatan anti kekerasan melalui pendekatan keagamaan, mendekati orang tua, dan mengadakan kegiatan lomba dengan tema anti kekerasan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu sekolah dalam mengembangkan strategi pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan agar lebih optimal dan menghilangkan tindakan kekerasan di sekolah.

Abstract

The formation of self-confidence is an important aspect of children's development that affects their ability to adapt in life. The inability to meet basic needs makes children feel less confident so it is important to support their mental and emotional health in building self-confidence with special support through programs at UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri Surabaya. This study aims to describe the formation of self-confidence in street children and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping self-confidence in street children. The research approach uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were coaches, assistants, training instructors, and street children, the selection of research subjects was carried out using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this study refers to interactive data as proposed by Miles and Huberman with stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing using Pierre Bourdieu's Habitus Theory. The results showed that the process of forming self-confidence in street children at UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri Surabaya can be achieved through introducing the character of street children, introducing the environment and providing a supportive environment, implementing programs, social activities, education, arts and skills, evaluating and adjusting programs. Meanwhile, the supporting factors for the formation of selfconfidence are adequate facilities and infrastructure, a supportive environment, professional educators, and basic needs are met. The inhibiting factors in shaping self-confidence are the conditioning of children who are difficult to control, the lack of discipline and responsibility of children, and the negative influence of their peers.

Abstract

Issues regarding character are basically issues of the future, the younger generation, and the civilization of a nation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen character from an early age in order to form and produce superior character and noble character, remembering that children are the next generation of the nation and as good citizens they must have civic character. Kampoeng Dolanan is a social community that focuses on preserving traditional games. The character strengthening theory used is Albert Bandura's observational learning theory which consists of four stages, namely attention, retention, reproduction and motivation. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Research data collection techniques include observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of this research show that strengthening the character of children is very important because currently many young people play with gadgets excessively even without parental supervision, have broken homes, promiscuity, and so on. Moreover, strengthening children's character through play activities is something that is very popular so that children can do it with enthusiasm and bring joy. Apart from that, traditional games also have various positive values ??in them such as cooperation, honesty, courage, solidarity, and so on. The strategies used by Kampoeng Dolanan in strengthening civic character in children include play activities carried out regularly on school holidays, social differentiation in group formation, competition while playing, providing motivation and reflection at the end of play activity sessions. The types of traditional games used to strengthen civic character are tug of war, gobak sodor and bakiak because they are most often played in the Kampoeng Dolanan community.

Abstract

This research describes the strategies used by teachers at the Al Ikhsan Bagor Nganjuk Special School for students with special needs. The targets of this research were students with autistic disabilities who were in grade 5 of elementary school. This is because students with autistic disabilities are the students with the most disabilities at the elementary school level, namely in grade 5 of elementary school. The theory used in this research is the Behavioristic Classical Conditioning Theory developed by Ivan Petrovich Pavlov. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive analysis methods. This research took informants from teachers at the Al Ikhsan Bagor Special School as research subjects. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The validity test of the data used is source triangulation. The results of the research show that the strategies used by Al Ikhsan Bagor Nganjuk Special School teachers are: (1) through giving appreciation. Giving appreciation can be done in two ways, namely first in the form of gestures or body movements such as giving applause when students successfully complete an activity. Second, in verbal form or words such as words of encouragement, you are great, you are extraordinary (2) through games. Play activities are one of the factors that can stimulate students' sensory, motoric and cognitive development, such as puzzle games, throwing balls, attaching body parts and coloring

Abstract

A rice farm worker is someone who works in the agricultural sector by cultivating, cleaning or harvesting land in accordance with the directions of the rice field owner. In a patriarchal culture, women have absolute responsibility for their domestic roles, while men have full responsibility for their public roles. In recent times, many women have entered public roles. This is because there are many needs that must be met. As financial managers, many women believe that the income provided by their husbands is not enough to meet their family's living needs. The aim of this research is to describe the negotiation process carried out and the negotiation strategies of women rice farming workers in domestic and public roles in Kanor Village, Bojonegoro Regency. The data collection technique in this research used in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the strategy chosen by female farm workers is an integrative negotiation strategy which takes the form of a strategy of choosing the right time and seduction. The seduction used is divided into three methods, namely: (1) using soft speech; (2) using special treatment; (3) Using sweet words to persuade. Then, in the negotiation process, household needs and work fatigue become the main problems and there is conflict due to differences of opinion. In the negotiation process the domestic roles being negotiated were: (1) Cooking; (2) Sweep; (3) Washing clothes. Meanwhile, the public negotiation process includes working hours as a farm worker and work permits as a rice farm worker until leaving the village.

Abstract

This research describes the efforts made by the management of the Kambang Putih Museum to instill a nationalist character in students and college students as museum visitors and the challenges they face. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study research design. This research is limited to the management of the Kambang Putih Museum in 2023. The informants for this research are museum managers, pupils and students who have been participants in activities at the Kambang Putih Museum. Data collection techniques used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. This research is linked to Thomas Lickona's character education theory. The results of this research show that, four efforts have been made by museum managers, namely holding Learning Together with the Museum (BBM), holding museum collection study activities, holding art collection competitions, and accompanying school or campus visits. Through these efforts, pupils and students can learn about history, culture and diversity which can form a nationalist character. In carrying out these efforts, only bureaucratic problems are a challenge for museum managers. However, this does not become an obstacle in implementing existing activities. Museum managers already have a solution to face challenges related to bureaucracy, namely by communicating frequently with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports. Through the efforts made by the museum management, nationalist values ??such as being willing to sacrifice for the sake of the nation, respecting ethnic, cultural and religious diversity, respecting and preserving the nation's culture, and love of the homeland.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of reading literacy-based assessment policies in Pancasila Education subjects at Wachid Hasyim 2 High School Taman Sidoarjo. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design because of the school's policy regarding literacy-based assessment in all subjects, especially those that lead to the form of AKM questions. Data was collected through documentation, interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques with the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that the implementation of the policy begins with the Principal issuing a Decree (SK) to all subject teachers to include AKM questions in summative assessment. Then, the Principal appointed the Deputy Principal of the Curriculum section as the coordinator of policy implementation. In conveying policies to teachers, the Vice Principal of the Curriculum Division collaborates with the school Curriculum Development Team in conducting workshops for teachers, providingbriefings and becoming proofreaders of questions made by teachers. Teachers of Pancasila Education subjects themselves in implementing the policy develop questions from three aspects, namely content, cognitive processes and context. The content applied in the form of informational text/article text as a stimulus, from the text then directs students to be able to find information in the text, process what has been read and associate it with the knowledge they have. Meanwhile, the context provided can be related to the daily life of students, current events or only about learning materials. This shows that the distribution of responsibilities in the variables of the bureaucratic structure is going well.

Abstract

School bullying is an act of deviant violence committed within the school scope. One form of school bullying that often occurs is verbal bullying, where participants are victimized by harsh words, insults or threats that can harm the victim's psyche. School bullying verbally not only damages the psychological well-being of students but also threatens their academic impairment. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the psychological disorders of verbal school bullying victims and the learning achievement of students at State Senior High School 4 Tuban. The method used was cantitactic with a simple linear regression model, with a sample used as many as 258 students in class X of State Senior High School 4 Tuban. The results obtained were that there was an influence between the psychological disorders of verbal school bullying victims on the learning achievement of students at SMA Negeri 4 Tuban, with the results of the hypothesis test (t-test) showing that the t count > t table, namely tcount > t table, which is 2.443 > 1.661771 with a significance value of 0.016 < 0.05, then this is accepted. From the results of the R Square test, it has a value of 0.062, which means that both variables, namely psychological disorders of victims of verbal school bullying, have an influence on the results of students' learning achievements. For further research, it can be done using different variables.

Abstract

This study was written with the aim of describing the mechanism of social solidarity between religious communities that occurs in the RW I and RW II communities of Babatan Village, Surabaya or known as Babatan village. Social solidarity between them is well established even though the society has religious differences. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Informants were selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model was used in this study. The theory used is Emile Durkheim's theory of social solidarity. The results of the study show that the mechanism of social solidarity in the multi-religious community in Babatan village is divided into three stages. The first stage began with the awareness of the people of Babatan village about the religious differences that exist between them. The second stage, awareness of existing religious differences makes them vigilant to prevent friction, especially conflicts that may occur. Departing from the experience of the people of Babatan village before, there has been a small friction between religious people between them. Therefore, the community seeks to develop tolerance to prevent these things. The third stage, the impact of the process in developing tolerance, it is necessary to build a tool to integrate the community in Babatan village, namely with the ownership of ancestors with Babatan village, the tradition of earth almsgiving, the symbol of Babatan village, and the slogan of Babatan village. The people of Babatan village in the process of developing their tolerance have given rise to social solidarity with the type of organic solidarity.
