Abstract

This study was aimed at describing the implementation of the management of learners at MAN Beringin Kota Sawahlunto. This study was related to qualitative descriptive to prove the actual object (study phenomena) and was compared from the theory. The findings showed that the implementation of learners’ management generally had been accomplished in accordance with the function of management. For the management of counseling, it was not optimal because it does not have the program and facility.Keywords: Management, Learners, MAN Beringin

Abstract

In this quantitative study the researcher tested three hypotheses 1) the work ethos of Islamic contributed significantly toward the teachers’ job performance; 2) the training contributed significantly toward the teachers’ job performance; 3) simultaneously, the work ethos of Islamic and training contributed significantly toward the teachers’ job performance in Islamic Junior High School Padang Panjang. Research samples were 58 teachers which were selected from 152 population. Research data were collected through questionnaire. The results revealed that a) the work ethos of Islamic contributed significantly (26,50%) toward the teachers’ job performance; b) the teachers’ training contributed significantly (26,00%) toward the teachers’ job performance; c) simultaneously, the work ethos of Islamic and training contributed significantly (40,70%) toward the teachers’ job performance. Abstract

This study focused on the implementation of learning management at Islamic Integrated Primary School Andalas Cendikia Dharmasraya. The qualitative approach was used in this study by applying interview and documentation as instruments. The findings revealed that the school had done the function of management. The school implemented Islamic culture such greeting to teachers and friends, kissing teachers’ hand when they shake hand and praying Dhuha together. Abstract

: In this case study of qualitative approach the researcher analyzed the performance of civil servant and non civil servant teachers after certification. This research was conducted in Private Islamic High School (MAS) Plus Padang Ganting Tanah Datar. This research revealed that the civil servant teachers were better than non-civil servant teachers. Abstract

This correlational study was aimed at revealing the contribution of teachers’ commitment and school leadership to the teachers’ discipline at State Islamic High School (MAN) 2 Batusangkar. The results showed that 1) the teachers’ commitment contributed to the teachers’ discipline 62.8%. It means that the teachers' commitment needs to be improved; 2) the principal's leadership contributed significantly to the teachers’ discipline 50.4%. It means that the contribution of school leadership needs to be improved; and 3) the teachers’ commitment and school leadership together significantly contributed to the teachers’ discipline 77.5% and 22.5% were influenced by other variables, it was not examined in this study. Abstract

his study was aimed at revealing the influence of self-efficacy and decision making on the headmasters’ job performance of Tsanawiyah Secondary School (MTs) In Tanah Datar. The sample of this study were the headmasters of Tsanawiyah Secondary School (MTs) in Tanah Datar consisted of 32 headmasters which were selected from 48 headmasters by using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The findings revealed that (1) self efficacy significantly influenced 25,3% toward headmasters’ job performance; (2) decision making significantly influenced 27,4% toward headmasters’ job performance; and (3) self efficacy and decision making significantly influenced 38.8% toward headmasters’ job performance. It can be concluded that self efficacy and decision making were two important factors that influenced headmasters’ job performance of Tsanawiyah Secondary School (MTs) in Tanah Datar.Keywords:  Self-Efficacy, Decision Making, Headmasters’ Job Performance, Tsanawiyah Secondary School

Abstract

This research was started from the students’ interest in STIKes Prima Nusantara Bukittinggi Diploma III of midwifery in the academic year 2011 on learning were high. There were 91,9% of students got achievement index > 2,75. This research was aimed at finding the correlation of learning environment, students’ learning motivation and students’ learning interest. This research belongs to survey analitic by using cross sectional approach. The samples were 96 students and the questionnaire was used as instrument. The data analysis were done by applying statistical test chi square (x2). The findings revealed that there were meaningful correlations of learning environment, students’ learning motivation and students’ learning interest. Abstract

This research was aimed at describing the management of poor students’ subsidy (Bantuan Siswa Miskin/BSM) in MTs Negeri Padang Panjang related to (1) planning; (2) organizing on determination the receivers BSM; (3) briefing; (4) coordinating; and (5) supervising. This research was qualitative case study. The respondents of this research were the principal, committee, vice principal, administrator of BSM, and the receivers of BSM in 2015. Data reduction, data diplay and data conclusion were applied on analyzing data. The results obtained indicate that (1) the planning was appropriate with the technical instruction, it started from preparation meeting, quotas determination and collection; (2) the organizing was seen from the receivers’ mechanism based on the owner of KPS or SKTM, (3) the briefing was seen from the socializing BSM to the parents related to the benefit and usage of BSM; (4) the coordinating was done through distribution and usage mechanism should use Bank students’ account; and (5) the supervising was done by monitoring the usage should be appropriate with the program. The research concluded that the management of poor students’ subsidy in MTs Negeri Padang Panjang was run well but it needs more socialization and consider the transparancy, effectivity and effiency.Keywords: Management, Poor Students’ Subsidy (BSM), MTs Negeri, Padang Panjang

Abstract

In this qualitative study, the researcher analyzed the headmaster’s strategy on upgrading the quality of instruction and teachers’ work ethos in Primary School 05 Koto Tangah, Tanjung Emas, Tanah Datar. The results revealed that the strategies were applied by the headmaster 1) encourage teachers to be creative and innovative; 2) discipline; 3) give an advice on making lesson plan; 4) supervise the class; 5) complete the instructional infrasructure; and 6) upgrade the instructional evaluation. Abstract

This study was aimed at describing the management of reformatory of At-Taqwa Muhammadiyah on building the students’ personality MTs Muhammadiyah Padang Luar. The study was qualitative case study by applying interview, documentation and observation as instruments. The data were analyzed by using triangulation method. The results revealed that the buliding of students’ personality was done by internalizing the moral value both god’s interaction and human’s interaction such praying; memorizing quran, and social intercourse.
