Abstract

The current agricultural development approach emphasizes the community empowerment approach. Empowerment of farmers by the MHI community in Andongsari Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency is not easy because all of farmers are not active in every stage of empowerment activities. The method of determining the research area is carried out by a purposive method with several considerations. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive model of Miles and Huberman's data analysis. The validity of the data used is source triangulation. The results showed that: 1. The stages of farmer participation in the development of Biological Control Agents in Andongsari Village are (a) participation in decision making by understanding the program, being involved in operational planning and scheduling, and determining implementers and coordinators. (b) participation in the implementation phase through resource contribution and coordination. (c) participation in profit sharing, including material benefits, social benefits and personal benefits. (d) participation in the evaluation; 2. The forms of participation provided by farmers in APH development activities are (a) participation in the form of ideas (b) participation in the form of labor (c) participation in the form of property (d) participation in the form of skills and (e) participation in the form of social.

Abstract

Banyak Masyarakat Indonesia yang mengonsumsi daun katuk hanya sebagai bahan pangan yang membantu ibu menyusui untuk memproduksi ASI (Air Susu Ibu). Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pengelolaan inovasi produk olahan daun katuk sehingga mampu diterima oleh masyarakat baik dari segi produk, rasa dan juga kandungan nutrisi dalam daun katuk yang dimanfaatkan bagi tubuh. Melihat adanya potensi dari tanaman daun katuk yang ditanam di daerah tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai upaya peningkatan penghasilan melalui pengolahan daun katuk menjadi produk makanan dan minuman. Namun produk yang telah dihasilkan Kampung Katuk tidak berkembang karena kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai branding produk dan pemasaran sehingga kurang dikenal oleh masyarakat. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat Kampung Katuk yakni mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan daun katuk menjadi produk yang dapat dipasarkan dan branding produk. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pendekatan sosial dapat menghasilkan suatu usaha guna menghasilkan produk olahan daun katuk seperti Stik Katuk, Cookies Katuk, Lidah Kucing Katuk, Dawet Katuk, dan Salad Katuk. Metode yang digunakan juga diskusi dan praktek langsung. Langkah - langkah pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai dari observasi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok KKN Tematik 49 di wilayah Krembangan Utara RW 03 yang cukup terkenal dengan kampung katuknya. Dilanjutkan dengan diskusi permasalahan dan melakukan implementasi yang dilakukan bersama Ibu PKK dan beberapa UMKM RW 03.

Abstract

Marketing strategy holds a very important control in the success of product acceptance in the community, but many Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) ignore this. Labels and packaging are one of the keys for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) to further increase the selling value of their products. Empowerment activities to improve the quality of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) are carried out through assistance in making labels on packaged products. The object of this activity is Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) actors in Besuk Village, Bantaran District, and Probolinggo Regency. One of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) products in this village is banana chips, cassava chips, elephant ears, and lard. The problem with these Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is the low quality of label and packaging designs for their products, as well as the lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure for designing product packaging labels. So that the products of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) partners are less attractive than similar competitor products. The Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) products in Besuk Village it self also do not have a broad market share, so they are constrained in increasing the number of products that will be produced. Implementation methods used include: 1) pre-activity; 2) core activities; 3) activity evaluation. Where the problem solving of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) constraints above is in the form of assisting in making labels on packaged products so that they can meet the existing label requirements and also look more attractive. The results of the activity are in the form of training on the manufacture of product packaging labels as well as the manufacture of ready to use designs for these Small and Medium Enterprise (SME).

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak since early March 2020 until now. The spread of the COVID-19 outbreak has caused an unfavorable impact on various sectors. Business owners admit that there have been a lot of declines in income during this pandemic and the marketing method is only done through word of mouth, the next problem is that limited land is a trigger for MSME actors to do product marketing. In addition, 70% of MSME actors surveyed are 40-70 years old, so they do not understand how to take advantage of the sophistication of existing digitalization technology even though they already have adequate communication tools. The implementation method used in Kedungdoro Surabaya Village is training in the form of a digital marketing workshop which will be given in the form of direct practice by utilizing Google My Business social media as the media used. The results of the digitalization training activity to increase market share in the Kedungdoro sub-district generally show that this training can increase people's knowledge and understanding of the importance of utilizing digital technology to expand their product marketing.

Abstract

Rebranding merupakan cara yang dapat dilakukan sebagai solusi terhadap beberapa permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh UMKM diantaranya yaitu kurang luasnya strategi pemasaran yang digunakan dan desain yang kurang menarik. Proses identifikasi masalah di UMKM ini menggunakan metode in-depth interview. In-depth interview merupakan proses memperoleh keterangan untuk tujuan penelitian dengan cara tanya jawab sambil bertatap muka antara pewawancara dengan responden atau orang yang diwawancarai. Pemasaran yang dilakukan beliau ialah WOM atau “Word of Mouth”. Kegiatan rebranding ini dilakukan karena terdapat beberapa keuntungan yang diperoleh UMKM seperti meningkatkan laba dan mendapatkan keunggulan yang kompetitif. Kokedama bisa diaplikasikan pada berbagai jenis tanaman herba, tanaman hias, tanaman semusim atau menahun, rumput, paku. Adapun bahan utama yang digunakan untuk pembuatan kokedama yaitu serabut kelapa. Oleh karena itu media tanam ini sering disebut “seni kokedama” sehingga dalam pembuatannya dapat dilihat segi kreativitas pembuatnya. Peluang usaha kokedama perlu dikembangkan oleh masyarakat dikarenakan dapat memperbaiki perekonomian UMKM. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah metode PAR (Participatory Action Research). Pendampingan rebranding Java Kokedama Soerabaja yang dilakukan oleh KKNT-47 ini bisa dijadikan solusi dalam mengurangi penggunaan pot plastik dan sebagai alternatif untuk rumah yang kondisi halamannya sempit namun tetap asri. Kelebihan lain dengan adanya kokedama juga perawatan yang dilakukan cukup mudah.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) are pillars that support the nation’s economic growth. The existence of UMKM in Indonesia has an important and strategic impact on the Indonesian economy. With the existence of dominant UMKM, UMKM need to improve their quality by recording their financial statements properly. However, in reality, many UMKM have not been able to present their financial reports properly. So that we do this service to create UMKM that can do simple bookkeeping for their businesses. In Dukuh Sutorejo Village, there are at least 10 UMKM and 1.000 UKM engaged in various business fields, such as food and beverages, services, handicrafts, grocery stores and so on. Simple financial bookkeeping is only done by recording the number of transactions without recording the posts according to the department. The bookkeeping training provided to UMKM Kecap Dewi-Dewi was divided into two events, namely manually and using a digital application in the form of a “Buku Kas”. So that with this training, it is hoped that UMKM will be able to produce good routine bookkeeping for their businesses.

Abstract

At this time, Dukuh Sutorejo Village experienced an increase in the number of UMKM. In 2021 the number of UMKM was recorded to reach 1,070 UMKM, this is due to the increasing number of people who want to open their own businesses due to the Covid-19 pandemic where many employees have been laid off by the company, it is difficult to find new jobs, and other problems. However, there are still many UMKM actors in the Dukuh Sutorejo Village area who do not know and understand the importance of business legality in this case the creation of a Business Identification Number (NIB), because some people have an understanding that managing business permits and legality is a complicated matter and takes a long time. Meanwhile, the Business Identification Number (NIB) itself plays an important role in the efforts of business actors. There are many advantages to having a Business Identification Number (NIB), one of which is the legality of the business. Issuance of Business Identification Number (NIB) can be done through OSS (Online Single Submission). The purpose of this Community Service activity is so that UMKM actors in Dukuh Sutorejo Village, Surabaya can understand and know how to make business licenses through OSS and have business legality, in this case in the form of a Business Identification Number (NIB). The method used in this community service activity is to educate about the procedures for making Business Identification Number (NIB) and it is carried out using the door to door method where this activity is carried out by visiting the residence of each UMKM in the Sutorejo Hamlet area. The result of this community service activity is the issuance of a Business Identification Number (NIB) for UMKM actors in Dukuh Sutorejo Village.

Abstract

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are the spearhead for economic development. There are many indicators that influence the success of an MSME in competing such as good product quality, attractive packaging, logos and business cards as product identities, satisfactory service and other indicators. Some MSMEs in Dukuh Sutorejo Village have problems such as branding and digital marketing. Departing from these obstacles, community service activities through the UPN Veterans East Java Thematic KKN program, the writing team helped several MSMEs in overcoming these obstacles, one of which was Making Logo Designs and Business Cards, with the aim of improving the quality of MSMEs so that they are more ready to survive amid MSME competition. tall one. The method used in this community service activity is data collection through interviews and observations. The result of this community service activity is the creation of logo designs and business cards that make identities for several UMKM in Dukuh Sutorejo Village.

Abstract

Social media is a forum that is familiar to the ears of the Indonesian people, especially in the process of using it to reach the general public in accessing basic needs and supporting the community's economy. As we know, more than one hundred million Indonesians currently access social media which is then used as a tool to reach the wider community. Of the many types of social media circulating according to data from Suara.com, Indonesians use Facebook more as a tool to support basic needs and the economy, as many as 140 million Indonesians access it, which puts us in second place in the world of people who access Facebook media. The current pandemic condition does not necessarily reduce access to social media, in fact, according to the data we found, access to the use of social media has increased, especially in supporting the community's economy. Of the many Facebook users who later attracted our attention to research and explore what later became the attraction of this application in the economic sector. The research that we do is field research (qualitative) with descriptive analysis method and service learning approach in order to obtain data according to the existing facts from the use of the media.

Abstract

Cultivation ability is determined by how farmers perceive their business, if they have a good perception, the management provided will also be better. When the research starts from July 2021 to February 2022, the informant selection technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive selection of informants logic. Determination of key informants is done by taking informants from 4 Hamlets, the data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman Model. Breeders have a positive perception of the smoked salted egg program, a positive perception evidenced by the components and the perception process. Information taken is smoked salted egg center, smoked salted egg processing, and marketing. Farmers argue that this program can advance the village, farmers cannot retrieve information on organic feed.
