Abstract

The research aims to develop science teaching materials with a monotheism motif for young children. It is in the form of an electronic book in the book creator application. The type of research is R&D with the ADDIE model-data collection techniques through expert test questionnaires and product feasibility questionnaires by users. The development process starts with a research needs analysis, which produces the basic concepts for book development and book feasibility instruments. The teaching material design process produces a book writing and appearance design, activity process design, teaching material design, media, teaching material evaluation instrument design, and book suitability instrument design. The development stage produces an initial draft of the book. The implementation stage produces a book draft ready to be published and distributed to users. The feasibility test results were found to be appropriate in terms of material and language, with an average indicator value of 3.7, categorized as appropriate with slight revisions. Judging from the children's understanding of the material, they received an average score of 82.03, which is considered high. Judging from the suitability of users with 11 question items on a scale of 5, the average was 4, which means the book can be disseminated with a little revision. The limitation of this research is that the product produced cannot be used directly by children, so the effect of developing this teaching material for children is less productive. because the book is intended for educators and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to find an integrity-value-based madrasah development model in Banyumas, Indonesia. Madrasahs, as one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, play a strategic role in achieving national education goals. Therefore, they need to be developed optimally, and strengthening the values of integrity is a key solution for madrasah development. This qualitative field research employs a case study approach. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the integrity values developed by the madrasahs in Banyumas include hard work, responsibility, discipline, and cooperation, involving all members of the madrasah community, including the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students. The implementation of the madrasah development model through integrity values involves creating clear rules, managing and socializing these rules, and finally, habituating the madrasah community to follow them. By implementing these aspects, the madrasahs in Banyumas can strengthen their integrity values and, consequently, develop their institutions effectively.

Abstract

This study examines the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program in Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) from ontological, epistemological, and axiological perspectives. The research aims to understand the unique characteristics of MBKM and its impact on Islamic higher education in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative literature review methodology, data were collected through observations and documentation related to MBKM policies and their implementation in PTKI. Data analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. Findings indicate that ontologically, MBKM differs from conventional curricula through its flexibility, direct student engagement with real-world contexts, and emphasis on contextual learning. These factors set MBKM apart from more static and rigidly structured curricula. Epistemologically, MBKM is grounded in an educational philosophy that emphasizes academic freedom, innovation, and student involvement in practical activities. This includes curriculum adjustments based on industrial and societal needs, ensuring high relevance and quality of education. Axiologically, MBKM significantly enhances students' practical skills and soft skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. The program's relevance is evident in bridging the gap between theory and practice, and between education and industry. Benefits of MBKM include improved graduate employability, expanded professional networks, and tangible contributions to national development through humanitarian and entrepreneurial projects. These advantages highlight MBKM as an adaptive and responsive educational model to global changes. The study concludes that MBKM has significant potential to enhance the quality of higher education at PTKI and contribute substantially to societal development.

Abstract

Mathematics is the main subject. Mathematics solves many problems in many fields, namely biology, physics, chemistry, astronomy, calculus, statistics, computer programming, and others. However, many students often consider mathematics as a complex subject. One of the reasons is that students are not trained to include mathematics  the problem-solving process. Mathematical, logical intelligence is the ability to solve aproblem by mathematics. Living in the 21st century demands the use of technology in almost all aspects of life. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of animation media in improving the mathematical logic intelligence of fifth-grade students at an elementary school with 37 students. The research method is a quasi-experiment with a control-group pretest-posttest design. Research instruments in the form of tests and documents. Data analysis techniques using t-test and N-Gain calculation. The results showed that using animation media to learn mathematics effectively improves mathematical logic intelligence. It is evidenced by the experimental class N-Gain score of 69% with a reasonably practical category, which is higher than the control class N-Gain score of 52% with a less effective category. The t-test results show a difference in mathematical logic intelligence between students who learn using animation media and those who do not, with a significance value smaller than 0.050, namely 0.036. This research will inform that mathematical logic intelligence can be carried out using animation media. The other researcher can continue the research by finding the mathematical logic intelligence indicator that contributed the most to mathematics learning activity.
