Abstract

Abstarct : The certification of Teachers is a government’s policy to assess teacher’s competencies in four areas as follows: professional, educational, social and personal competencies. Teachers who have passed the certification assessment will receive one multiple salary monthly. In the teacher certification policy, Indonesian government paying the salary of certified teachers is based on welfare state ideology. In this ideology, Indonesian government intervenes in fulfilling the fundamental rights of citizens, including education. By the certification of teachers program, Indonesian government tries to provide good education services to its citizens. The ideology of capitalism exists in the certified teacher attitudes who tend to be trapped in the culture of consumerism, by buying stuffs excessively which relatively has no relation to the improvement of teacher’s qualification. Abstract

Abstract : leadership that emphasizes human relations is the leadership that was initiated by Ki Hajar Dewantara, namely Ing Ngarsa Sung Tulada means when in front place, the leader should be a role model, Ing Madyo Mangun Karsa meanswhen in the middle (among) of society, a leader must be able to generate a willingness to work, and Tut Wuri Handayani means when in the back place, the leader must be able to be a supporter. Implementing the concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s leadership thoroughly is very important, especially in education. The three characters are the character of a true leader. Leaders who attendedas an example, inspiration, and supporter for group members is to improve organizational performance. Abstract

Abstract : Education system in Islamic boarding school successfully produce religious figures, zuama’ (influencing leaders), even politicians, and until today many national leaders now had studied in Islamic boarding school as well. Characterization process of the values that made Islamic Boarding School Nur Ilahi in grounding the character education include: honesty, responsibility and compliance, speech/preaching, intelligence, independence, leadership, discipline, providing penalties, prize giving, the way in dressing, simplicity, cleanliness, mutual aid, generosity, and tolerance. Abstract

Abstract : Regarding to the reality of Islamic Religious Education (or PAI) lecturer at UNS, that the ratio between the number of PAI lecturers with the number of the students is incomparable, the number of credits for PAI is 2 credits in the general population, the implementation of the PAI study is in odd and even semesters, UNS PAI lecturers are civil servants appointed by the Education Ministry. Furthermore the teachers competence Islamic Education which includes the competence of personality, pedagogic, professional, social, and religious competence had met a good competence. Abstract

Abstract : In accordance with the stages of children’s development, characteristics of how children learn, the concept of learning and meaningful learning, the learning activities for early grades of elementary school should be done with thematic learning. Integrated thematic learning is learning that uses theme to integrate some subjects so it can provide meaningful experiences to students. To enhance teachers’ ability to implement thematic learning, then it could be through training, lesson study, induction training, through independent study. Then, in addition, to support the success of the thematic learning it is necessary to improve school atmosphere, infrastructure improvement, improvement of surveillance systems, and preparation of students entering the school. Abstract

Abstract : Madrasah as institution of education is a noble industry. Madrasah has double missions, there are profit mission and social mission. Unfortunately madrasah has been doing education process overcognitifly and ignore moral aspect, that fact is a problem in madrasah. Caused by it a concept of character education must be implementated in madrasah through management desain of character education in madrasah. In this article, author explains how to implementate management desain of character education in madrasah. There are four components that concerned in it. Key Words: Management, Character Education, Teachers, Curicullum, and Culture.

Abstract

Abstract : Ibn Khaldun as a whole person, knowledgeable with a variety of expertise, this is mainly manifested in the brilliant thoughts thatgave birth to the concepts, theories and fatwas become the next generation of role models, including the concepts of education and learning concepts. Furthermore, from multiple streams of education writers take progressivisme as a comparison, because progressivisme regarded as a representative flow. Therefore, the authors restrict this paper to learn the concept of comparative analysis of Ibn Khaldun’s philosophy of education with the West, with the announced one of the streams in the progressivisme philosophy in order to find alternative methods of proper Islamic education. Abstract

Abstract : That Allah sent messengers to mankind in the mission apostolate is in order to convey moral values to guide people towards the path of salvation and happiness of life. The tasks of the apostle thus place them as educators in the midst of the people. They are the chosen people who prepared the required competence to the mission of their duties so that they succeed in carrying out his apostolic mission. Information submitted in Qur’an and the explanation given by the historian about the acts of the apostles and the problems they faced are not only as knowledge or discourse, but to get the messages moral teachings contained therein, as well as be used as an afterthought to the possibility of their application in the next future. Thus such belief is expected to lead to the psychological impact of educative for mankind. There are so much educational values that can be extracted from the apostolic mission discourse that we get a variety of inspiration related to aspects of educational measures to be implemented in education today. Abstract

Abstract : The results of this action research is in the development of cognitive skills in terms of understanding the basis for early childhood learning, media is necessary utilizing such props, props and media utilization demonstration method can enhance students’ creativity and participation of children in participating in learning activities, the use of media props and demonstration methods can enhance students’ creativity and participation of children in understanding the concepts of counting, use of props and demonstrations media can improve achievement/learning of cognitive skills in children. It can be seen from the ability of the students is good compared to before the study conducted corrective learning. Key Words: Cognitive, Basic math, and media.
