Abstract

Using financial performance as an intervening variable, this study investigates how environmental performance and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) affect company value. Eight state-owned enterprises were selected purposively, and data was obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the companies' official websites. To conduct this analysis, descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, inner model evaluation, and hypothesis testing through bootstrapping were used. The results of the study indicate that sustainability and governance are not yet major considerations for the market, as environmental performance and GCG do not have a direct impact on company value. While GCG does not have a significant impact, environmental performance has been proven to improve financial performance. In addition, financial performance has the ability to control the influence of environmental performance on company value; however, it cannot control the relationship between GCG and company value. These findings confirm that financial performance is the most dominant factor in the formation of company value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on user satisfaction of the MyBCA application, with user trust as an intervening variable. The research was conducted in Denpasar City, which has the highest number of mobile banking users in Bali. A quantitative approach was employed using a sample of 190 MyBCA users selected through multivariate sampling rules. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through Partial Least Squares (PLS) using SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly affect user satisfaction and trust. User trust also shows a significant direct effect on satisfaction. Mediation testing further confirms that trust partially mediates the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of system reliability and security in strengthening user experience. These findings highlight that users value applications that are beneficial, easy to operate, and trustworthy. The study concludes that enhancing functionality, usability, system stability, and security features is essential for improving satisfaction and sustaining continued use of MyBCA.

Abstract

Over the last few decades, debates on environmental and economic growth issues have received special attention in various academic and policy discourses. Some argue that economic development has a significant impact on increasing persistent ecological degradation over time, while others view that using appropriate economic development tools and systems could harmonize government efforts to develop its economy, as well as ensure a more sustainable environment. The ongoing debates affect not only both economic development and environmental issues but also the emphasis of inclusivity on socioeconomic aspects. Initially, the Blue Economy development concept seeks to harmonize social, economic, and ecological elements in its economic development system. However, the socioeconomic aspect for small people – particularly marginal communities, is often forgotten during the implementation. This article is expected to analyze and explain the impacts of Indonesian Blue Economy development on its coastal community and fisherfolks. This article used a qualitative research method with desk/library research and qualitative interviewing as the data collection method. By critically examining the implementation of the Blue Economy in Indonesia, the article also aims to provide insight into the blue economy's impacts on the climate crisis in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that problems are still found in the control of the supply of non-communicable disease drugs, especially Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and Hypertension (HT), at the North Cimahi Health Center, such as stock vacancies, excess of certain drugs, and limited use of information systems. The purpose of this study is to analyze the management strategy of drug inventory control, including the planning, organization, implementation, and control stages, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in supporting the sustainability of health services. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation, and is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the study show that drug needs planning is carried out based on monthly usage data and patient visit trends, but is still constrained by distribution quotas and budget allocation from the Health Office. The organizing strategy is carried out with a clear division of tasks between the heads of health centers, pharmacists, pharmacists, and administrative staff, and is supported by the use of e-catalogs. The implementation of the strategy involves manual and digital recording, the use of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point (ROP), and Safety Stock methods  to maintain inventory stability, although there are still obstacles in the form of demand fluctuations and distribution delays. The control process is carried out through daily monitoring, internal audits, and periodic reporting mechanisms to the Health Office, with contingency strategies in the form of restrictions on the administration of drugs or referring patients to external pharmacies. Overall, control strategies have proven effective for priority drugs such as Amlodipin and Metformin, but they still need to be strengthened for alternative drugs such as Glibenklamidi which are prone to vacuum. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of strategic management in controlling drug inventory at the North Cimahi Health Center has supported the availability of the main drug, the sustainability of therapy, and patient satisfaction, although it still faces limited resources, external supply, and data accuracy. The implications of this study emphasize the need to optimize information systems, strengthen internal coordination, and increase strategic flexibility so that drug inventory control can be more adaptive, efficient, and sustainable.

Abstract

The growth of the modern coffee industry in Indonesia has increased significantly in line with lifestyle changes and advancements in digital technology. This development encourages businesses, including Fore Coffee Gatsu Tengah, to understand the determinants that influence consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, brand trust, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on consumer purchasing decisions at Fore Coffee Gatsu Tengah. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula and involved more than 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale, while data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression complemented by the F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that brand image, brand trust, and e-WOM simultaneously have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Partially, brand trust and e-WOM show significant effects, whereas brand image demonstrates a weaker influence compared to the other variables. The Adjusted R² value of 0.523 indicates that 52.3% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 47.7% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. The findings contribute theoretically to the field of marketing management, particularly regarding the roles of brand image, brand trust, and e-WOM in shaping consumer behavior. Practically, the results serve as a reference for Fore Coffee in formulating more effective marketing strategies to enhance competitiveness and strengthen consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Tourism is a primary sector supporting Bali's economy, as it is capable of driving economic growth, creating job opportunities, and accelerating the development of tourist areas. Canggu is one of the regions experiencing an increase in guesthouse-based accommodation development, in line with the rising interest of tourists. However, The Manggar Guesthouse is facing a decline in occupancy rates and a number of complaints related to service, facility completeness, and the guests' stay experience. To ensure the sustainability of service quality in this situation, research is needed on the components that influence guest satisfaction. The objective of this research is to study how service quality, service perspective, and customer experience affect the satisfaction of guests staying at The Manggar Guesthouse. A quantitative method was used by conducting a survey of 112 participants selected through a purposive sampling method. The research data was collected through a four-point Likert scale questionnaire, complemented by documentation and observation as supporting data. The research instruments underwent validity and reliability testing, and the data was analyzed using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. The research results indicate that service quality (t = 2.828; p = 0.006$), customer experience (t = 3.354; p = 0.001$), and service perspective (t = 4.835; p = 0.000$) partially and significantly influence guest satisfaction. Simultaneously, the three variables also have a significant effect, with an F count of 40.300 and p = 0.000. The adjusted R2 value of 0.515 indicates the contribution of the three variables to guest satisfaction. Thus, these three factors should be the main focus in the strategy for improving the quality of accommodation management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the development of Sharia Economic Law (HES) in Indonesia using the Maqashid Syariah Index (IMS) approach. Although various previous studies have assessed the effectiveness of HES regulations and the performance of Islamic financial institutions, there is still a research gap in the limited use of IMS as a comprehensive measuring tool to systematically analyze aspects of policy and legal structure. IMS, which is based on the protection of religion, life, mind, descendants, and property, provides a more normative, integrative, and maqashid-based evaluative framework in assessing the quality of the implementation of Sharia-based economic law. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method with a normative-juridical approach and content analysis of regulations, fatwas, court decisions, and performance reports of Islamic economic institutions. The SWOT analysis is compiled based on the results of the IMS value mapping using the parameters of tahdzib al-fard, iqamah al-‘adl, and jalb al-maslahah. The research findings indicate that the main strength of the HES lies in its strong regulatory support and maqasid framework, while its weakness stems from the low implementation of the Islamic Sharia Supervisory System (IMS) in supervision and policy. Opportunities arise from increasing sharia literacy, halal financial innovation, and national policy support. Threats include regulatory disharmony, digitalization challenges, and the low integration of the IMS in institutional performance evaluation. This research contributes to the refinement of Islamic economic law evaluation instruments and provides maqasid-based recommendations for strengthening regulations and policy implementation.
