Abstract

Agency problem timbul akibat adanya perbedaan kepentingan antara agen dan prinsipal. Kepemilikan saham pada perusahaan BUMN yang terkonsentrasi pada kepemilikan pemerintah sebagai prinsipal cenderung memungkinkan terjadinya agency problem yang lebih besar. Agency problem akan menimbulkan biaya yang harus ditanggung oleh perusahaan yang disebut agency cost. Pengukuran tingkat agency cost pada penelitian ini menggunakan expense ratio dan total turnover ratio. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh agency cost terhadap nilai perusahaan BUMN yang diproksikan dengan rasio Tobin’s Q.

Abstract

The currency exchange rate fluctuations result in the value of company import debt payment becomes uncertain since it could change at any moment. The company can run the hedging technique to protect its value of import debt. This study aims to determine the difference of the value of import debt while using the forward contract hedging, money market hedging, and currency option hedging without using the hedging (open position) technique. This study used 15 import transactions of PT. Sayap Garuda Indah during early in 2012 until early in 2013. The analysis technique used is T-test. The results of this study show that there is no difference of the company’s value of the import debt, while using the forward contract hedging, money market hedging, and currency option hedging, with open position. However, among those three hedging techniques, the minimum value of import debt is when the company runs the forward contract hedging. Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a capability related to intelligent creatures in the form of artificial robots which are fully controlled by digital computers. The presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) certainly changes the structure of human life which affects the effectiveness of human performance such as in the field of entrepreneurship. The main scope in artificial intelligence technology is gaining strategic advantage in digital business, human resources, market research, customer relations, accounting and finance, sales, marketing, and others. The investigation of this work is centered to understand more about Artificial Intelligence, opportunities for using Artificial Intelligence for entrepreneurship, perspectives that support AI technology as part of the new model of business, perspectives against the development of artificial intelligence, as well as future opportunities from artificial intelligence technology.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Semenjak pandemi COVID-19, pembatasan kegiatan masyakarat sempat membuat roda perekonomian melambat. Untuk dapat terus bertahan dan berkelanjutan, perlahan segala bentuk digitalisasi berkembang semakin pesat dan menjadi kebutuhan vital bagi hampir semua kalangan. Fenomena ini mendorong munculnya banyak Perusahaan-perusahaan startup yang menciptakan inovasi baru terutama di sektor teknologi. Sejak itu, sektor ini berpotensi mengalami pertumbuhan yang semakin besar dan cepat. Namun, di balik potensi Tingkat pertumbuhan yang besar, perusahaan-perusahaan ini juga dihadapkan pada tantangan yang juga besar dalam mengelola biaya operasional mereka agar menjadi tetap efisien. Efisiensi operasional salah satunya dapat dinilai dari margin operasional perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini ingin menguji pengaruh biaya operasional perusahaan dan tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan tersebut terhadap margin operasionalnya selama periode 2020 hingga 2023 yang merupakan periode awal terjadinya pandemi COVID-19 hingga saat ini. Pada penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya masih terdapat gap pada hasil penelitian. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode purposive sampling yang diolah menggunakan alat SPSS dengan data dari 9 perusahaan sektor teknologi di Indonesia yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia dan memiliki data laporan laba rugi yang lengkap selama periode pengamatan, didapatkan hasil dari analisis regresi linier berganda bahwa biaya operasional berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap margin operasional perusahaan, namun tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap margin operasional perusahaan. Hal ini mengindikasi bahwa manajer perusahaan sektor teknologi lebih berfokus pada efisiensi operasional dengan meminimalisasi biaya-biaya operasional dibanding memperhatikan pertumbuhan penjualan selama periode pengamatan karena perusahaan lebih berhati-hati dan menghindari kecenderungan kebangkrutan pada usaha yang dijalaninya, mengingat pandemi COVID-19 berdampak bagi banyak sektor bahkan termasuk sektor teknologi. Kata Kunci: Biaya, Operasional, Pertumbuhan, Teknologi

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of institutional ownership and capital structure on banking liquidity in Indonesia in the context of the impending cessation of relaxation measures by Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) post-COVID-19 pandemic. Using data collected from several banks in Indonesia and analyzed through multiple linear regression methods, this research investigates how institutional ownership and capital structure, measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), influence bank liquidity as measured by the Current Ratio. Additionally, this study proposes new innovations for optimizing institutional ownership to enhance banking liquidity, including increased financial transparency, the adoption of blockchain technology for asset management, and the development of sustainable financial products. The analysis results show that institutional ownership has a positive and significant impact on bank liquidity, where an increase in institutional ownership contributes to enhanced liquidity. Conversely, capital structure, as measured by DER, has a negative and significant impact on bank liquidity. This indicates that an increase in DER tends to reduce bank liquidity. Based on these findings, innovative recommendations are provided for banks to optimize their institutional ownership and capital structure.

Abstract

Climate change demands urgent solutions, and blockchain technology offers a promising way to enhance transparency and trust in emissions trading, a key component of carbon markets. By providing a decentralized, secure platform for tracking and verifying emissions data, blockchain can address issues like lack of transparency and trust that have limited the effectiveness of carbon markets. This innovation could streamline the trading of carbon credits, promoting sustainable practices among businesses and supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy. The study employs qualitative research methods, including a literature review from the Scopus database and case study analysis, to explore the application of blockchain in carbon markets. Industry reports and real-world case studies provide additional insights. Findings suggest that while blockchain has significant potential, its successful integration into the carbon market requires overcoming several barriers, including regulatory, technological, and organizational challenges. The paper highlights both the opportunities and obstacles for blockchain's adoption in carbon trading, contributing to efforts aimed at mitigating climate change.

Abstract

Sembilan Jaya Teknik merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang ketenagalistrikan. Untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan jasa terhadap masyarakat, diperlukan pengelolaan persediaan atau stok material yang optimal. Hal ini terkait dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan pelanggan dan efisiensi pekerjaan, sehingga pengelolaan stok material perlu dilakukan agar terciptanya kelancaran saat bekerja. Berdasarkan hasil dari observasi yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan permasalahan terkait pengelolaan stok material pada PT. Sembilan Jaya Teknik. Oleh karena itu, diadakan kegiatan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan terhadap karyawan, khususnya bagian purchasing, terkait pengelolaan stok material secara digital dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Spreadsheet. Dari kegiatan tersebut, pemahaman karyawan terkait pengelolaan stok material dengan menggunakan aplikasi Spreadsheet berhasil ditingkatkan, dan memberikan manfaat bagi karyawan maupun perusahaan.

Abstract

Service excellence adalah faktor kunci dalam suatu keberhasilan perusahaan. Pelayanan yang unggul mampu menciptakan pengalaman konsumen yang lebih menyenangkan dan memuaskan. Kegiatan pegabdian kepada masyarakat pada Kuma Coffee Tibubeneng ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karyawan terkait service excellence dalam rangka membentuk loyalitas konsumen Kuma Coffee. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, diketahui bahwa terdapat masalah-masalah yang menyebabkan ketidakpuasan konsumen, sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah konsumen yang kembali berkunjung, dan pada akhirnya mempengaruhi pendapatan serta keberlangsungan bisnis secara keseluruhan. Melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, pelatihan, serta pendampingan, pemahaman karyawan terkait service excellence untuk membentuk loyalitas konsumen Kuma Coffee Tibubeneng telah berhasil ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Urban agriculture has gained recognition as an effective solution to urbanization's challenges, including food security and environmental sustainability. This study, "Maximizing Economic Efficiency in Urban Mustard Farming through Pipe, Soil, and Bottle-Based Systems," focuses on the innovative use of recycled materials such as plastic bottles and pipes to create sustainable farming systems in urban environments. The research highlights the integration of these materials to maximize space and resources, enabling efficient mustard greens cultivation in limited urban areas. In Peguyangan Village, Bali, this community service program aimed to educate residents on utilizing plastic waste as a resource for urban farming. By conducting hands-on training, participants learned how to build and maintain planting systems using recycled pipes and bottles, which improved soil moisture retention and reduced water consumption. As a result, the local community adopted more sustainable farming practices, reducing plastic waste and enhancing crop yields. The program's success is evident in the increased participation of residents, with active collaboration between students, community members, and local officials. This initiative not only raised awareness of sustainable agriculture but also provided practical skills to residents, fostering a sense of community and environmental responsibility. The project serves as a model for promoting urban farming and resource efficiency in densely populated areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh influencer marketing dan rating produk terhadap impulsive buying yang dimediasi oleh perceived value. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah generasi Z di Kota Denpasar sebanyak 100 orang. Metode analisis data menggunakan SmartPLS dengan tiga tahapan analisis data yaitu inner model, outer model dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) influencer marketing tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap impulsive buying, 2) rating produk berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap impulsive buying, 3) influencer marketing berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perceived value, 4) rating produk berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perceived value, 5) perceived value berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap impulsive buying, 6) perceived value tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam memediasi influencer marketing terhadap impulsive buying dan 7) perceived value berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam memediasi rating produk terhadap impulsive buying. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi kepada penjual Tiktok Shop tentang pentingnya mempertahankan fasilitas ulasan produk dan mengontrol kualitas setiap produk.
