Selama ini banyak penelitian hanya tersimpan pada perpustakaan, berdebu dan lapuk serta hilang begitu saja. Lebih lebih hasil penelitian mahasiswa, disamping kuantitasnya yang banyak juga cukup variatif dan menginspirasi. Jurnal Kronologi berusaha menjembatani hal ini. Hasil riset akhir mahasiswa baik yang berkaitan sejarah murni dan penelitian berhubungan dengan pendidikan sejarah. Semuanya dipandang layak untuk dipublikasikan. Jurnal kronologi sebagai wadahnya. Bukan saja hasil penelitian mahasiswa sejarah Universitas Negeri Padang akan tetapi secara luas hasil penelitian akhir mahasiswa dari seluruh universitas yang terdapat di Indonesia.

Abstract

The research contains the development of oil palm plantation production of PT AMP Plantation, Palembayan District, Agam Regency. This study uses a historical method which consists of four stages. first stage heuristic (data collection), second stage source criticism (revealing the truth of the source content), third stage interpretation (interpretation related to historical facts that have gone through source criticism stage, fourth stage historiography (history writing) .This study shows a development of coconut plantations palm oil is growing every year.The company was established in 1992 in Jorong Tapian Kandis, Palembayan District, Agam Regency.The production produced in the form of Fresh Fruit Bunches (TBS) and Crude Palm Oil (CPO), but the scope of business managed in the company is Fresh Fruit Bunches (TBS) The company provides a variety of facilities for employees in both social and economic forms such as benefits, health, education, shelter, public transportation and working equipment for employee safety and security. around and affect social life community economy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by various problems in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) made by the teacher of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang. The problems are (1) imperfect preparation of lesson plans by the history teacher of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang, (2) teachers only copy the existing lesson plans to copy lesson plans from other schools. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the lesson plans for the history teachers of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang whether they are in accordance with the principles of the preparation of lesson plans according to Permendikbud No.22 of 2016, then what are the obstacles faced by teachers in the manufacturing process. The method used in this study is an evaluative study, the source of the data in this study was obtained directly from informants in the field through interviews and document studies in the form of a history teacher lesson plan at SMAN 3 Padang Panjang. The findings of this study indicate that the teacher's lesson plan is in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No.22 2016. However, the quality of the teacher's lesson plan is not yet ideal because there are still errors in distinguishing between the tools and media included in the lesson plan and the difficulty of teachers in matching the model used with KD and learning material to be taught.

Abstract

This article is a historical study of the Modernization of Islamic Education Institutions at MTI Canduang which is the forerunner to the establishment of another MTI in Indonesia. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the background and standing of the modernization movement of Islamic Education Institutions at MTI Canduang. The method used in this study is the Historical Method which consists of heuristics, criticism, interpretation. The establishment of MTI Canduang was motivated by the teaching activities of Sheikh Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli in Surau Baru Canduang which began in 1907. The MTI Canduang Modernization Movement began when criticism from Young Group Ulama on the activities of Surau was considered ancient and left behind. Demang Dt. Batuah and Syekh Abbas Qadhi Lawas Field suggested that Sheikh Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli modernize his Surau into Madrasas. In 1926 the classical system began to be implemented. MTI Canduang was then formalized as a Madrasa in 1928. After becoming an MTI, there were changes such as learning methodology, grade levels, and facilities but for a permanent orientation to the Shafi'i School and Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah. The establishment of MTI Canduang had an impact on the establishment of another MTI in West Sumatra, so in 1930 PTI was established.

Abstract

Dalam Kurikulum 2013 dinyatakan adanya tiga model dalam Pembelajaran IPS Terpadu yang wajib dipedomani guru dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Ketiga model itu ialah Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning), Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (Project Based Learning), dan Pembelajaran Inguiry/Disvovery. Hasil pengamatan awal yang dilakukan di berbagai Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Kabupaten Pasaman menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran IPS yang digunakan para guru sangat beragam. Akan tetapi hanya sebagian kecil dari mereka yang telah menggunakan ketiga model tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebagian besar mereka cenderung masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional yang berada di luar ketiga model yang diamanatkan Kurikulum 2013. Fenemona ini tentunya menarik untuk ditelusuri lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas tim peneliti mencoba untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru sejarah di Kabupaten Pasaman terhadap salah satu model pembelajaran IPS, yaitu Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek (Project Based Learning) dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Dalam mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan, maka metode yang digunakan adalah metode partisipatoris yang menekankan kepada peran serta seluruh perserta pelatihan untuk mencapai tujuan dan sasaran yang ditetapkan. Tahap pelatihan ini dimulai dengan penetapan tujuan pelatihan, kemudian diikuti dengan materi pelatihan. Setelah itu diikuti dengan kegiatan workshop yang melibatkan instruktur dan para peserta. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan pemahaman para guru IPS tingkat SMP di Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman terhadap materi IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran projek. Model pembelajaran ini telah mampu dipahami dan diaplikasikan guru secara baik. Para guru IPS telah mampu menerapkan model ini secara maksimal dalam pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran IPS lebih kreatif dan dinamis, tidak lagi bersifat pasif dan membosankan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of learning of students and provide alternative uses of media in the form of understanding and benefits in using video media in the form of storyline which is motivated by the lack of media use in history learning, especially video media. This type of research is 4-D by using 3 stages from 4 stages of the development model, namely defining, designing, and developing. The design in making this video storyline media using the movavi video editor application and combining it with other applications. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 lecturers namely material experts and media experts, 2 history subjects, and 17 students of Class X MIPA I at SMAN 3 Kerinci. The object of this research is video storyline media. This research data is in the form of primary data that is data obtained from the questionnaire validity and practicality. The data analysis technique of this study was to use qualitative analysis in a descriptive form. This research produces an effective video storyline media used as a medium in learning history and can improve students' understanding in the history learning process based on data analysis obtained from the results of the validity and practicality test.

Abstract

This research is motivavailabated by the unavailability of enjoyable history learning media, but still can help students in higher-order thinking that is analytical thinking. Based on observations made by students look bored ini following the history of learning so that it inhibits students in understanding the material to reach a igh level of thinking that is analytical thinking.This research aims to develop bingo as a history learning media that is feasible to use. Developing bingo media like bingo games. This research is a research and development of R&d, by following the steps of developing the ADDIE model. But in this study the research procedure was carried out only at the development stage, due to the limited time of the researcher. In this study the validity test is study the validity test is based on the assessment of material experts and media experts using a questionnaire to assess the feasilibity of the media. Reseacrh data were analyzed with quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the feasibility of the media based on the assessment of material experts was 3,57 and the assessment of media experts was 3,5. This shows that the bingo media ini history learning is very feasible to use.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the establishment of a PIR BUN OPHIR Pioneering KPS cooperative in charge of managing oil palm plantations in jorong Jambak, West Pasaman district. Almost all of the Jorong Jambak people are farmers of Oil Palm Plasma Plantations. This plantation experienced ups and downs but in 2003 the Oil Palm Plasma Plantation reached its peak. This is evidenced by the development of the Jorong Jambak community's economy until now. This study aims to look at the Economy of the Community of Palm Oil Plasma Plantation in Jorong Jambak Nagari Koto Baru, Luhak Nan Duo District, West Pasaman Regency (2003-2019). The method used in this study is a historical research method which is divided into 4 stages. First, the heuristic step is to find and collect data. The second stage of source criticism, is divided into two namely external criticism and internal criticism to find the validity of the source under study. Thirdly, the interpretation or analysis of data by summarizing all data in order to obtain a picture based on the formulation of the problem in this study. The four stages of historigrafi, namely the writing of research reports into scientific writing, namely thesis. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Oil Palm Plasma Plantation has grown rapidly since 2003. Besides that, public facilities such as health, education and sports facilities were also built. People's livelihoods began to vary due to the existence of these plantations such as traders, employees, and so forth.

Abstract

This article will discussion about the social economy of Veteran of Padang City between year 1983 until year 2018. Because the independence of Indonesia on Ougust, 17, 1945 is struggle of heroes that concist of soldier and Indonesia’s veteran. The research is history research that using historical method. The heurictic proces was collect document, observation and interview. The conclusion of this research is the Indonesia’s veteran had struggle but part of them after independence of Indonesia is not prosperous. There is something wrong. Begin of the year 2012 was good news that the Indonesia’s veteran was gived allowance by goverment. The UU No 15 Tahun 2012 had manage of the action.

Abstract

Bungus is one of six the samudera fishery harbour in Indonesia. To operation the Samudera harbour should be follow the mission, aim and target. This article wants to proving the concistantion of program. Especially the coming of the fishey ship and fsh production in Samudera Bungus fishery harboar between the year 2001 until the year 2017. The reseacrh was using history method that consist of 4 process; heuristic, critic, interpretation and historiography. Many data had collect to this research likes each year of report of Bungus Samudera office and interview recording. The critic proces had only comparing data. The thirth method proces is analysis of fact and historiograhy depend of sistematic of the writing likes chapters. The result of the research is Fishery Harbour Samudera Bungus had low grate coming of the ship and fish production comparing of other fishery harbour in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan yang menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan siswa yang kurang dalam menghadapi pembelajaran sejarah, sehingga ada terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang tidak memahami tujuan mempelajari mata pelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa paham peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dikembangkan oleh peneliti dengan indikator yaitu menjelaskan, menguraikan, merumuskan, merangkum, memberikan contoh, menyimpulkan, memperkirakan, menerangkan, menarik kesimpulan, meringkas, membuktikan, dan mengembangkan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Padang berdasarkan indikator menjelaskan adalah 75%; berdasarkan indikator menguraikan adalah 75,5%; berdasarkan indikator merumuskan adalah 76,5%; berdasarkan indikator merangkum adalah 83%; berdasarkan indikator memberikan contoh adalah 74%; berdasarkan indikator menyimpulkan adalah79%; berdasarkan indikator memperkirakan adalah 69,5%; berdasarkan indikator menerangkan adalah 73,5%; berdasarkan indikator menarik kesimpulan adalah 77%; berdasarkan indikator meringkas adalah 80%; berdasarkan indikator membuktikan adalah 76,5%; dan berdasarkan indikator mengembangkan adalah 76,5%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkanbahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Padang tergolong baik.
