Abstract

This study aims to find out the difference in historical learning outcomes based on parental parenting. This research is quantitative research with a type of comparative study research. The research population as well as being a sample of research is all students of class XI IPS at Sma Negeri 4 Solok. Data collection techniques use Questionnaires to obtain parenting data and documentation to obtain data on historical learning outcomes. The data was analyzed using the Anova test. The results showed that the results of learning the history of learners using democratic parenting were most dominant and had a higher average score than other parenting, which was 79.74. In addition, hypothesis testing showed Fhitung = 6,855 and Ftabel 3.15. Or Fhitung > Ftabel so that the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that there are differences in the results of learning the history of learners based on Parenting Parents at State High School 4 Solok.

Abstract

The main thing in the process of raising goats so that they can get benefits quickly is regular feeding. Based on the pleasant experience of the goat breeders complaining about the difficulty of getting natural food during the dry season. Or if there is a compilation of rainy season food available, then the breeder will eat it in feeding the goats every day. To do this, there is now a modern and easy way to raise goats that is quite easy and profitable is that cattle use fermented feed so they do not look for food every day. This method is not yet known by many goat farmers in both villages and cities in the country including in partner villa villages namely Jorong Padang Ambacang Nagari Batu Balang will be able to bring benefits that are more optimal and easier in raising goats. Community service aims to provide konowledge and skill to partners or goat farmers in animal husbandry management and application of science and technology to produce animal feed by fermentation. Methods of Implementation of activities carried out by applying appropriate technology and improving business management. The appropriate tecnology application implementation scheme is a training program to make alternative/ artificial fermentation. While management improvement training is realized in the form of counseling and training. The results of this service have been able to increase community knowledge about goat breeders in the terms of livestock business management and animal feed manufacturing through fermentation.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of the Group Investigation model on students’ learning outcomes in the subject of Indonesian History to students in class XI IPS in SMAN 5 Padang in the ability to understand causality in historical events. This type of research is quantitative with the experimental method. Data obtained from the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS SMAN 5 Padang. The study population consisted of 3 classes, the selection of samples was taken based on cluster sampling. The hypothesis proposed was there is an influence of students’ learning outcomes by using the Group Investigation model on students' abilities about understanding cause-effect in historical events. The data analysis technique is done by normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was an influence of the Group Investigation model on students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian History subjects in class XI IPS at SMAN 5 Padang. After pretest and posttest, there were differences in mean values. The average value of the experimental class pretest was 6.62 and the control class was 4,074. The average value of the experimental class posttest was 7,629 and the control class was 5,074. Analysis of the normality test showed that the two samples were normally distributed, namely Lhit <L. tab, experimental class was 0.786 and control class was 0.819 with L. tab was 0.886. The sample homogeneity test results have a homogeneous variant, namely F.hit 1.3 <1.7. The results of the t test show Thit> Ttab which is 6.8166> 2.0555 so that H1 can be stated and H0 is rejected. Based on the results of the study that there is an influence of the Group Investigation model on students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian History subjects in class XI IPS SMAN 5 Padang.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest of students’ learning in history subject, which was 38.73%. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementing of the Quantum Teaching model in order to increase students' learning interest in history subject. This type of research is classroom action research. The subject of this research was students of class X IPS 2. The technique of collecting data and instrument research is to use observation techniques using observation sheets of students’ learning interest. This study consisted of 2 cycles where there were 2 meetings in each cycle. The data analysis technique in this study uses percentage analysis techniques which then the results of the data are given meaning. The results of this study indicate that the Quantum Teaching model can increase students’ learning interest where in each cycle there is an increase in students’ learning activities from 38.73% in the initial observation to 66.97% in the first cycle and increase 85.96% in the second cycle. The increase occurred in each indicator of learning interest both on indicators of interest, involvement, feelings of pleasure and interest in learning history. Because of increasing the percentage in learning of each aspects of learning activities in each cycle, this research was stopped in the second cycle. It was stated that the Quantum Teaching model could increase students' interest in learning history subject.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of students' understanding in history subject, especially on cause-effect point. It was evidenced by the students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian History subjects that are still under the KKM (77). This is because the teacher is still dominant using conventional learning models. For this reason, we need a learning model that can improve students' understanding on cause-effect material. The solution offered is the cooperative learning model of the Students’ Team Achievement Division. This study aims to see the effect of implementing the Student Team Achievement Division learning model on the ability of students to understand cause-effect material in history subject. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The population of this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 3 Pariaman, in number to 150 people. The samples obtained were the XI IPS 2 class as the experimental class and XI IPS 3 as the control class totaling of 60 people. It obtained through random sampling techniques. Data collecting is done by giving pretest and posttest by using objective questions as many as 40 items. Data analysis was performed using the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. After these two tests were carried out on the two sample classes, there were the pretest and posttest which have differences in the mean values. The average value of the experimental class pretest was 8.54 and the control class was 7.37. The average value of the experimental class posttest was 10.54 and the control class was 8.20. Analysis of the normality test showed that both samples are normally distributed, where Lhit <Ltab in the experimental class was 0.833 and the control class was 0.840 with Ltab was 0.886. The homogeneity test results showed the sample has a homogeneous variant where Fhit <Ftab was 1.374 <1.713. The results of the t test showed Thit> Ttab which was 3.163> 2.068, so that it can be declared H0 accepted while H1 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is the influences of the use of the cooperative learning model of the Students’ Team Achievement Division on the results of history subject of Indonesian History to students in class XI of SMAN 3 Pariaman.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of using interactive course lab teaching materials on students' ability to understand concepts in historysubject. The problem of this study is the low level of students' knowledge of the concept material which is indicated by the low learning outcomes of IPS X grade students of high school in Padang Panjang are still many under the KKM (75). The teacher still does not use interactive teaching materials in learning. For this reason, we need an interactive teaching material that has not been used in Padang Panjang High School which is expected to improve learning outcomes. In connection with that Alvani Maizal Asri (2018) has made an interactive teaching material in his research entitled "Development of interactive teaching materials using the course lab application on Indonesian History subjects. The solutions offered in this study introduce the use of interactive teaching materials in historical learning and also as a follow-up to Alvani Maizal Asri's research to continue the next phase of Development. This type of research is experimental research. The population of this study was class X IPS with a sample of 181 people taken by random sampling. Data retrieval is done by pretest and posttest by using multiple choice questions as many as 40 questions. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test (t test) and effectiveness test. The findings of the study at SMAN 1 Padang Panjang showed the average value of the difference between the experimental class students' learning outcomes 11,14 and SD 2,75 while the average difference in learning outcomes of the control class students was 10.14 with SD 2.25. Analysis of the normality test showed that the two samples were normally distributed, namely Lhit <Ltab which was 0.814 <0.886. The omogenicity test results show that the smapel has a homogeneous variant, the Fhit was 1.58 <Ftab was 1.701. The results of the t test show Thit 3.96> Ttab 2.05 so that it can be stated H1 is accepted H0 is rejected. While the results of research at SMAN 2 Padang Panjang showed the average value of the difference in learning outcomes of experimental class 12 students with SD 3.03 while the average difference in learning outcomes of control class students was 10.7 with SD 2.54. Analysis of the normality test showed that the two samples were normally distributed, namely Lhit <Ltab which was 0.821 <0.886. The omogenicity test results showed that the sample had a homogeneous variant, namely Fhit 1.58 <Ftab 1.69. The results of the t test show Thit 2.197> Ttab 2.03 so that it can be declared H1 accepted H0 rejected The results of the study show that there is an influence of the use of interactive teaching materials on the results of history learning of high school students in Padang Panjang. This interactive teaching material is effective to use because the average N-gain value at SMAN 1 Padang Panjang is 0.42 with moderate criteria, as well as in SMAN 2 Padang Panjang, the average N-gain value is 0.33 with the medium category.

Abstract

Kebanyakan penduduk desa menjalankan usaha beternak kambing secara rumahan dan tradisional, sehinggga hasilnya kurang maksimal. Sistem yang digunakan adalah usaha sampingan yang tidak dikerjakan secara intensif. Mereka beternak kambing hanya beberapa ekor tanpa target omset apapun. Padahal kalau ditekunni secara modernn serius potensi usaha peternakan kambing di desa sangatlah besar. Supaya usaha ternak kambing cepat berhasil menggunakan cara beternak kambing secara modern dan propfesional seperti fermentasi pakan ternak kambing  termasuk cara beternak kambing yang baik dan benar. Cara berternak kambing di desa mitra yakni di Jorong Padang Ambacang Nagari Batu Balang Kecamatan Harau Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, pada umumnya masih menggunakan cara lama yang bersifat tradisional, sehingga keuntungan yang didapatkan kurang maksimal. Permasalahan mitra 1 sebagai pengusaha mikro yang bergerak dalam bidang perternakan kambing etawa masih bersifat tradisional. Untuk itu, perlu pengembangan usaha pertenakannya seperti fermentasi pakan dan menerapkan manajemen pertenakan. Permasalahan mitra 2 adalah, disamping permasalahan manajemen pertenakan kambing  juga perlu pendampingan dan permodalan untuk memulai usaha pertenakan kambing etawa. Melalui penerapan teknologi dan inovasi terkini, cara ternak kambing modern dinyatakan lebih intensif. Berikut beberapa cara ternak kambing modern yang perlu diterapkan sebagai solusi permasalahan mitra, diantaranya manajemen kandang kambing, manajemen bibit kambing, manajemen pakan kambing, dan manajemen pemeliharaan kambing. Skema pelaksanaan kegiatan program Ipteks yang dilakukan bersama kedua mitra difokuskan pada dua bidang, yaitu penerapan teknologi tepat guna dan perbaikan manajemen usaha. Skema pelaksanaan penerapan teknologi tepat guna adalah teknik pembuatan pakan alternatif/buatan (fermentasi). Sedangkan kegiatan perbaikan manajemen usaha diwujudkan dalam bentuk pelatihan. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan adalah pelatihan manajemen kandang kambing, manajemen bibit kambing, manajemen pakan kambing, dan manajemen pemeliharaan kambing.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of applying recitation learning method on students abilities in understanding of historical facts. The abilities were seen from student learning outcomes in written test. This was a quantitative research with experiment method. Data obtained from the learning tests result of students grade X IPS 1 SMAN 13 Padang. Population of this research consisted of three classes, and the sample consisted of two classes: grade X IPS 1 as experiment group and grade X IPS 3 as control group. The result of this research indicated that there was an influence of the application of recitation learning method on the historical learning outcomes of students grade X IPS 1 SMAN 13 Padang. The analysis of normality test showed that the population of the two samples normally distributed, while the homogeneity test showed that the sample had a homogeneous variant. Therefore, we can conclude that there was an influence of the application of recitation learning method on the historical learning abilities (outcomes) of students in SMAN 13 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan yang menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan siswa yang kurang dalam menghadapi pembelajaran sejarah, sehingga ada terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang tidak memahami tujuan mempelajari mata pelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa paham peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dikembangkan oleh peneliti dengan indikator yaitu menjelaskan, menguraikan, merumuskan, merangkum, memberikan contoh, menyimpulkan, memperkirakan, menerangkan, menarik kesimpulan, meringkas, membuktikan, dan mengembangkan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Padang berdasarkan indikator menjelaskan adalah 75%; berdasarkan indikator menguraikan adalah 75,5%; berdasarkan indikator merumuskan adalah 76,5%; berdasarkan indikator merangkum adalah 83%; berdasarkan indikator memberikan contoh adalah 74%; berdasarkan indikator menyimpulkan adalah79%; berdasarkan indikator memperkirakan adalah 69,5%; berdasarkan indikator menerangkan adalah 73,5%; berdasarkan indikator menarik kesimpulan adalah 77%; berdasarkan indikator meringkas adalah 80%; berdasarkan indikator membuktikan adalah 76,5%; dan berdasarkan indikator mengembangkan adalah 76,5%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkanbahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Padang tergolong baik.
