Abstract

The researcher focused on three issues, namely: the principal's contribution to improving the performance andprofessionalism of teachers in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Palu, the strategies used by principals MAN 1 and MAN 2 Palu inimproving teacher performance and professionalism and the impact of the principal's strategy on improve teacherperformance and professionalism in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Palu. Researchers are trying to present the existence of acentral figure namely: the principal, who is considered to have contributed to improving teacher performance andprofessionalism in MAN I and MAN 2 Palu. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Datacollection is done by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. While data analysis techniques, researchersuse data reduction, data presentation and verification. To check the validity of the data is done with credibility,transferability, dependability, confirmability, using various sources, theories and methods so that objective data areobtained. Research informants, namely: the principal, curriculum waka, and five teachers from each school.The results showed that: (1) The principal's contribution in improving the performance and professionalism of teachersin MAN I and MAN 2 Palu were: a) The principal as a supervisor, b) As an evaluator, c) As an educator. (2) Principals'strategies in improving teacher performance and professionalism in MAN I and MAN 2 Palu are: a) Awaken theperformance of teachers by fostering a sense of belonging to the institution, b) Collaboration with other institutions inattending workshops and training, c ) Increase the teacher's task, d) Motivate, e) Conduct persuasive communication, g)Give orders in accordance with the duties and functions, h) accept suggestions and create group discipline. (3) Theimpact of the principal's strategy on improving teacher performance and professionalism at MAN I and MAN 2 Paluare: a) Teachers always make learning plans, b) Teachers use varied learning methods, c) Teachers create a conduciveclassroom climate, d) The teacher is able to use learning media that can attract student learning interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Work Stress which includes Environmental Stress, Organizational Stress, andIndividual Stress on the Performance of Civil Servants 2 in the Palu Model. The problem raised in this study is whetherthere is an influence of work stress consisting of Environmental Stress, Organizational Stress, and Individual Stress onthe Performance of Civil Servants 2 in the Palu Model. From the above problem, a research hypothesis is proposed thatit is assumed that work stress which consists of Environmental Stress, Organizational Stress, and Individual Stressaffects the performance of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palu Model Employees. This type of research is a verificationstudy, sampling technique using saturated or census sampling. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri2 Model Palu. The total sample is 51 respondents.To prove this hypothesis, researchers used multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the study found thereis the influence of work stress consisting of environmental stress (X1), organizational stress (X2) and individual stress(X3) on the performance of employees of MAN 2 Palu Model. This can be seen from the environmental stress (X1)with sig. 0.014, organizational stress (X2) with a sig value of 0.025 and individual stress (X3) with a sig value of 0.038which is smaller than alpha 0.05. The most dominant environmental stress variable has a significant effect on theperformance of MAN 2 Palu Model employees.It is expected that the Leaders of MAN 2 Palu Model should pay attention to environmental, organizational andindividual factors because these three factors can have an effect on employee performance. It is expected that the MAN2 Model Palu Leaders pay attention to, and maintain the stability of work stress caused by environmental,organizational and individual factors through motivating activities such as ESQ, recreation, out bonding, relaxationtime, division of work hours, discussion forums, suggestion boxes and openness of leaders ultimately has implicationsfor optimal employee performance. MAN 2 Model Palu must give extra attention to employees who are in the officeenvironment. Dirty, hot environmental conditions and work demands that are regulated by time make it easier foremployees to experience pressure.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that Islamic religious education teachers are already professional in carrying out theirduties and responsibilities. Most of the students who attend SMK Muhammadiya Marawola, seem to have goodReligiosity. There are several ways of Islamic religious education teachers at Muhammadiyah Marawola VocationalSchool in improving the religiosity of Muslim students, namely by planning, implementing, and evaluating.The implication of this study is that Islamic religious education teachers work together with the guardians of students tomonitor the attitudes and behavior of students outside the school environment. Thus the religiosity activities that havebeen applied have the benefit of changing the attitudes and behavior of students in the environment where students live,especially for both parents.

Abstract

Efforts to Increase the Inculcation of Islamic Religious Value of Students in SDN 3 Dolo (Overview of the terms ofEducational Interaction) are generally carried out in various ways, both through schools and from private teachers ofIslamic religious education. This is manifested through: (1) Routine Teaching Routine Reading short surah of theQur'an; (2) Memorization of short verses of the Qur'an; and (3) Media usage.By increasing the inculcation of Islamic religious values towards students, there are several obstacles, such as thedifferent levels of understanding of each student, which are specifically found in the process of memorizing short surasof the Qur'an. The difference in the level of understanding in absorbing lessons that occur in students is caused bystudents' different educational backgrounds. Because not all students who come from Kindergarten (Kindergarten)education are based on religion so that in the field of reading Iqra 'or memorizing al-Qur'an' also the level is alsodifferent. As a solution to overcome these problems, teachers, especially Islamic Education Subject Teachers, have theappropriate techniques to overcome these problems, for example by holding Les Sore (Supplementary Lessons).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) cooperative model, know thedescription of communication skills, examine the effect of the implementation of the TGT (Team Games Tournament)type cooperative model on the communication skills of students in class V of SD Tammu-Tammu. This research is aquantitative study using true experimental deisgn, namely the pretest-posttest control group design. In this study thereare two variables: the independent variable is the implementation of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) cooperativemodel and the dependent variable is the student's communication ability. The population in this study were 53 gradestudents of Tammu-Tammu 201 Elementary School, totaling 53 students. Furthermore, the determination of the sampleusing probability sampling with the type of simple random sampling is divided into two groups, namely theexperimental group and the control group of 20 students each. The instrument was validated by expert lecturers. Thedata obtained were analyzed with two types of statistics namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics includingdata normality test, data homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS for windows 20.The results of the analysis show that: (i) the implementation of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type of cooperativemodel in social studies consists of the stages of class presentation, group learning, games tournaments and group awardsgenerally well implemented. (ii) the students 'communication skills in the experimental group before learning had anaverage score of students' communication skills of 69.85, after being taught by implementing the TGT (Team GamesTournament) type cooperative model an average score of 88.65 increased. In the control group before learning theaverage score of students' communication skills was 67.9 and after learning increased by 74.0. (iii) The implementationof the TGT (Team Games Tournament) cooperative model influences the communication skills of the fifth gradestudents of SD Negeri 201 Tammu-Tammu.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this study regarding the style of language used by Sapardi Djoko Damono in his work isPaper Boat Poetry Collection. This paper intends to describe the use of the art used by Sapardi Djoko Damono in theAnthology of Paper Boat Poetry. This paper uses a descriptive method, which describes the composition contained inthe anthology of Paper Boat Poetry created by Sapardi Djoko Damono. This study uses Miles Huberman analysis (datareduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing). Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that in PaperBoat Poetry Anthology created by Sapardi Djoko Damono found various majas, including a) rhetorical style whichincludes alliteration, Asonance, Asindeton, Polisindeton, Histeron Proteron, Pleonasme, Prolepsis or Anticipation, andHyperbolic. Then, b) figure of speech which includes the style of Equality or Simile, Metaphor, Personification,Metonimia, Antonomasia, and Hypalase. The majority of majas that are used in the Paper Boat Poetry Anthologycreated by Sapardi Djoko Damono are alliteration majors.

Abstract

Adolescence for girls takes place in the age of 12-21 years. This period is known as a time full of problems, not only foryoung women themselves, but also problems for parents, families, and their environment. Even further, post-marriagedisharmony in a household has a complex effect that results in the increasingly weakening of the quality of humanresources at a macro level. In adolescence the role of a mother is very important and primary because she is naturallygifted with subtle and gentle feelings, so it is more appropriate to be a coach for her teenage child who ispsychologically turbulent.Methodologically, there are two data collection techniques that will be used in this study, namely questionnaire and indepth interviews. The questionnaire filling will be accompanied by researchers. Thus the research error rate can bereduced as small as possible and the percentage of answers returned is higher. The interview was conducted informally.In this way the information obtained is expected to be more and more in-depth and more representative of the realsituation. Furthermore, the research data will be analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The quantitative analysisused is descriptive analysis such as percentages, averages, and modes. While the qualitative analysis applied is domainanalysis and taxonomic analysis.The results showed that in general the level of knowledge of housewives about premarital education for their youngwomen, was at the moderate level of 57.3% and low 23.3%. while in general the knowledge of young women aboutpremarital education is at the moderate level of 56.0% and low at 28.7%. Perceptions / attitudes of housewives towardspremarital for young women as much as 50.0% are low and 32.7% are moderate. Young girls' perceptions / attitudesabout premarital education were also generally low at 52.2% and moderate at 36.7%. Then, the role of familyinstitutions is generally of a moderate level, namely as much as 68.0% while those already classified as high are asmuch as 24.7%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a 2013 curriculum-based test assessment to measure the critical thinking skillsof science teachers at the State Junior High School in Donggala Regency. This type of research is research using theResearch and Development (R & D) method which refers to the Plomp development model which consists of severalphases, namely: (1) Initial Investigation Phase, (2) Design phase, (3) Realization, (4) ) Test, evaluation and revisionphases. As a sample in this study were 30 Natural Sciences teachers at Donggala Regency Public Middle School. Datacollection methods in research and development include: (1) Preliminary studies, (2) Making 2013 curriculum-basedassessment tests and (3) Testing and refinement of assessment tests. The test used is a description test to measure theability of science teachers in developing critical thinking skills through a 2013 curriculum-based assessment test. Thedata analysis technique used is a descriptive qualitative technique with validity, reliability, difficulty and differentiationlevels.The results of the study concluded that the development of the 2013 curriculum-based assessment test could measurethe critical thinking skills of science teachers at the State Junior High School in Donggala Regency. This is shown fromthe results of the evaluation of the test instruments by material experts, design and practitioners showed very goodcategories with an average percentage of assessments between 85.47% to 90.71%. The results of the validity test of thecritical thinking tests of the ten indicators used as items in the study were valid using a 5% significance level, thereliability test results obtained an average value of 0.95 which is greater than the average rtabel so that the level ofreliability is very High, for the level of difficulty of the category classified as Medium category and the category ofDifficulties and the test of distinguishing questions based on the analysis of the tests are classified as Very Good, Goodand Enough.

Abstract

Karl Mannheim adalah tokoh yang dianggap sebagai penggagas teori sosiologi pengetauan. Teori-teorinya tentang relasipemikiran, gagasan, dan bangunan keilmuwan seseorang dengan realitas sosial yang mengitarinya, dapat dijadikansebagai “pisau” analisis dalam mengkaji pemikiran seorang tokoh secara kritis, tidak terkecuali pemikiran Karl Mannheimsendiri. Menurutnya, persepsi yang disusun dan diorganisasikan dalam formulasi ilmiah—yang merupakan syaratkemunculan pengetahuan—tergantung pada kerangka rujukan (frames of reference) yang tersedia pada momen historistertentu. Karena itu, konsep, diskursus, dan arah tujuan pengetahuan tergantung pada situasi sosio-historis anggotakelompok intelektual yang bertanggung jawab atas perkembangan sebuah disiplin pengetahuan. Usaha untuk menemukanide-ide yang tidak berubah dan absolut merupakan suatu hal yang amat diragukan manfaatnya. Sumbangan terpentingdari pemikiran Mannheim adalah bahwa tak ada pengetahuan yang lahir dari ruang hampa, melainkan ia dikonstruksioleh situasi sosial yang mengitarinya. Oleh karena itu, usaha untuk memahami pemikiran seorang tokoh tidak akan pernahsempurna tanpa memahami latar belakang sosial yang berada di balik pemikiran tersebut.

Abstract

his article shows the renewal of Islamic education by Harun Nasution in terms of educational philosophy. Aaronstrongly believed that the superiority of human reason. Harun then asserted that reason can understand the purpose ofrevelation, so that reason and revelation can be in line and in line in creating civilization. According to Harun that alQur'an and hadith both give a high position to reason and seek knowledge. According to him that this high appreciationof reason gives rise to a liberal theological style in Islam, in addition to the revelations coming down to help the humanmind in knowing things that lie beyond the reach of human reason. This has earned ijtihad according to him is the thirdsource in Islam, in addition to al-Qur'an and hadith. Ijtihad in various fields has given birth to the face of Islam in manyaspects, such as: theology, worship, morals, mysticism, philosophy, history and culture. Knowledge that is only one ortwo aspects or one aspect will only lead to incomplete understanding, misunderstanding, narrow and rigid.
