Core Subject : Education,
Online Learning in Educational Research (OLER Journal) is a medium of communication for researchers, academicians, and practitioners that provides a means for sustained discussion of relevant issues that fall within the focus and scopes of the journal which examined empirically. Journal Online Learning in Educational Research is a biannual publication that highlights field research and library research in the broad area of Computer Mediated Learning which includes distance, online, electronic, virtual, distributed, blended, mobile learning, develoving media for online learning, and instument assessment for online learning. Computer-mediated learning occurs when an individual interactively learns (formally or informally, synchronously or asynchronously) about material via computer means where the learning materials and pedagogy are developed to take advantage of the available technologies. The goals of OLER are to: Promote a scholarly approach to the practice and profession of teaching in computer-mediated environments. Foster dialogue concerning innovative computer-mediated teaching, learning and assessment strategies. Enhance understanding and application of best practices in online teaching and learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the SiMaYang type II learning model assisted by the Kahoot application in increasing students' concept understand based on the APOS theory. This research is quasi-experimental with posttest only control group design. The sample of this research consisted of 67 students who were divided into three classes. The sampling technique used was the class random sampling technique. The research instrument was declared valid with a good difficulty level and reliable. Therefore, it could be used to collect data on students' conceptual understanding. Furthermore, the One-Way ANOVA test was used to test the hypothesis with a significant level of five percent. This research shows that the SiMaYang type II learning model assisted by the Kahoot application positively influenced students' conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the application results of the developed digital book oriented to multiple chemical representations. The method employed in this research was the Design-Based Research (DBR) method with the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development Model consisted of five stages to analyze, design, and develop a product. These stages covered the analysis of terpenoid material, the analysis of multiple representations of terpenoid material, and digital book design and development. The instrument used was a validation test questionnaire filled out by three validators. The result of this research is an Android-based digital book oriented to chemistry's multiple representations. The obtained robserved value was 0.83. Therefore, the developed digital book was declared valid and can be used as teaching material in the Natural Product Chemistry course.

Abstract

The research aims to produce direct current electricity teaching materials and their application through Google Classroom for students in vocational high schools. This research uses 4-D model development (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The resulting teaching materials were analyzed for their validity and practicality. This product was distributed to 50 physics teachers. The data were obtained through a validation sheet of teaching materials and a teacher's perception questionnaire on the practicality of teaching materials. The results showed that: (1) the teaching materials developed were valid because the validity of the lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching materials was in the valid category; and (2) practicality seen from the results of teachers' perceptions of lesson plans in the practical category, and the results of teachers' perceptions of worksheets, assessments, and teaching materials in the very practical category. So it can be concluded that the development of direct current electricity teaching materials using the Google Classroom application is valid and practical for use in learning physics

Abstract

This research produced an interactive learning media for Linear Programming material using a valid, engaging, and practical, realistic mathematics approach to facilitate distance learning. This research was development research using the ADDIE development model. The data analysis techniques used were validation analysis of media and material experts, students' responses questionnaire, and Effect Size test. The sampling used was cluster random sampling. The test subjects were fourth-semester students of classes A, C, D, E of the Mathematics Education Study Program of UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The media experts validation obtained an average score of 3.37, and the average score of material experts validation was 3.53, both within the "valid" category. The attractiveness test during the small-scale trial obtained a score of 3.52 (very attractive), and the large-scale trial obtained a score of 3.56 (very attractive). The effectiveness of the developed product obtained through the Effect Size test was 0.43 (moderate category).

Abstract

Education determines the success of a country. Every educational action requires results and learning interest. This research aims to determine the profile of students' learning interest in Integrated Science learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is the descriptive-quantitative. The research population are the students of SMP Negeri 02 Tebat Karai of Kepahiang. The research sample consisted of 20 students determined by the purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a close-ended questionnaire using the Likert scale. The data is reprocessed in a descriptive percentage. The results show that students average learning interest in Integrated Science learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is high. Although the results are relatively high, students learning interest needs to be improved further. If students have a high learning interest, they will have a curiosity. Students with a high learning interest can have achievements, even though the learning process is carried out online during the current pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze online learning media used in science learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a literature study method by conducting three stages of research, namely data collection, data analysis, and conclusions. This study analyzed 18 science journals in Indonesia. It is found that the science learning media used during the COVID-19 pandemic are e-modules, Google Classroom, smartphone sensors, and virtual laboratories through PhET and LiveWire. Each learning media application must be adjusted to the indicators and the level of education. The findings of this study can improve learning outcomes, learning motivation, critical thinking, problem-solving, concept mastery, and science process skills
