Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kondisi massa optimum koagulan terhadap pH dan kekeruhan pada pengolahan air sungai Cisangkuy menjadi air domestik nonkonsumsi serta menganalisis karakteristiknya sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan menjadi air domestik nonkonsumsi dengan menggunakan adsorben dari kulit pisang raja bulu (Musa paradica). Tahapan dalam penelitian ini terbagi menjadi beberapa bagian, tahap pertama adalah menganalisis air sungai sebelum perlakuan apapun dengan paramater pH, bau, kekeruhan, kesadahan, kadar besi, mangan dan kadmium. Tahap kedua adalah menentukan optimasi koagulan dari kulit pisang raja bulu (Musa paradica) dan tahap ketiga adalah melakukan penyaringan air sungai melalui media filtrasi. Analisa karakteristik air sungai Cisangkuy dengan parameter bau, pH, kekeruhan, kesadahan, mangan, besi, dan kadmium setelah dibandingkan hasilnya dengan analisa air sungai sebelum pengolahan, semua hasilnya menunjukan penurunan, dan memenuhi baku mutu yang berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 82 Th. 2001. Adapun persen penurunan dari setiap parameter, yaitu kekeruhan 87.50%, pH 25.4%, kesadahan 24.28%, Fe 95.55%, Mn 70.51%, dan Cd 98.50%. Kata kunci: air sungai, absorben, Musa paradica.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konten teks konsep senyawa karbon berdasarkan struktur makro dan representasi kimia gambar. Dilakukan terhadap buku teks kimia SMA/MA menggunakan kriteria struktur makro Siregar dan kriteria keterhubungan representasi kimia GKitzia. Hasil analisis konten pada buku A dan buku B menunjukkan penyajian konten dan cakupannya tidak seluas dan sedalam konten pada buku teks standar. Namun konsep-konsep yang disajikan sudah sesuai dengan kurikulum. Berdasarkan struktur makro, alur penyajian konten pada buku teks standar sebagian besar menggunakan alur induktif, sedangkan pada buku A dan buku B menggunakan alur deduktif. Representasi teks dari ketiga buku lebih dominan simbolik. Hasil analisis representasi gambar yang disajikan pada buku teks standar sudah memenuhi kriteria, namun pada buku A dan buku B belum memenuhi kriteria standar. Dari ketiga buku, lebih banyak menampilkan gambar dengan representasi simbolik. Makna yang terkandung dalam representasi dari ketiga buku sebagian besar bersifat implisit. Keterhubungan representasi dari buku teks standar dan buku B hampir sepenuhnya terkait dan terhubung dengan teks, sedangkan pada buku A hampir sepenuhnya terkait tetapi tidak terhubung. Ketiga buku lebih dominan tidak memiliki keterangan atau caption dari setiap gambar. Hanya buku standar yang memiliki representasi multipel, dengan keterhubungan yang ditunjukan dengan jelas tetapi kurang terhubung.

Abstract

The existence of halal and good food is a basic requirement for Muslims. Maintaining the quality of food from the integrity of nutrients and keep it away from the source of disease is one effort to create good quality food. This will be more valuable if it can be done with natural materials that exist around the community itself. Growing environmental awareness and social sensitivity on the young generation of Muslims is something that can not be separated from education in college. This research is aimed to develop bio-plastic making device based on ganyong (Canna edulis) with the utilization of used and cheap goods. The method used in the research is Research and Development (R & D). Develop Spin Coating devices to suit the needs of edible printing. The effectiveness of measurable measurements of physical bio-plastic factor measurements resulted in strength, thickness and durability. The results of this study show that the results are quite optimal, especially on the thickness factor. The thickness of bio-plastics produced using modified spin coating is <0.5 mm with rotation at a certain speed, ie at 12 volts and 60o - 80oC. The result of bio-plastic obtained can be used as food wrapper which in this research is applied as dodol wrapping. So the quality of nutrition dodol can be more durable.

Abstract

In this study, two lignan compounds were isolated from acetone extract of Phyllanthus niruri L. nirtetralin B (1) and phyllanthin (2) using several chromatographic methods followed by molecular structure elucidation mainly based on 1D and 2D of 1H and 13C NMR spectrum. The isolated compounds were tested for their antimicrobial properties against the plant pathogenic fungus, Fusarium oxysporum, using the agar plate well diffusion method. The microdilution method determined the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and the minimum fungicide concentration (MFC). In addition, the microconidia germination inhibition test was carried out using the agar diffusion method. As a result, compound 1 had MIC and MFC values of 4 and 16 μg/mL, respectively. While compound 2 showed the same MIC and MFC values of 16 μg/mL. Further testing on the inhibition of germination of F. oxysporum microconidia showed that compound 2 inhibited microconidia germination 100% at a concentration of 2 × MIC. In comparison, compound 1 at the same concentration was only able to inhibit germination by 29%. This study revealed that compound 2 is a potential new fungicide derived from local medicinal plants. However, further research is needed to identify the interaction mechanism between the test compound and the fungal pathogen F. oxysporum to develop new antifungal agents.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim. A good Muslim is a Muslim who follows everything ordered by Allah SWT and leaves all the prohibitions of Allah SWT. One of them is by consuming halal products. The application of halal literacy in education is very influential in improving the quality of faith in Allah SWT and increasing knowledge about halal literacy and making decisions regarding the selection of halal products. Halal literacy can be applied to science material, one of which is about the human digestive system. In addition to halal literacy, higher-order thinking skills are needed in the 21st century. This study aims to determine how halal literacy and higher-order thinking skills in matters of the human digestive system affect consumer decisions about halal products. This study used a quantitative approach involving 31 students from class XI IPS 1 MAN 1 Garut. There are two independent variables in this study, namely halal literacy and higher-order thinking skills, and the dependent variable, namely decision making about halal products. Questionnaires and multiple choice questions were given to students to find out the variables to be studied. By using multiple regression statistics, the results show that there is a relationship between halal literacy and making decisions on halal products, but with higher-level thinking skills there is no relationship with making decisions on halal products. Meanwhile, together between halal literacy and higher order thinking skills there is a relationship with making halal product decisions, namely 51.2% to be precise. Other factors influence 48.8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan indikator literasi halal dan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dengan memanfaatkan literasi sains dan kimia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi halal memiliki dampak positif pada kepedulian lingkungan dan dapat memandu individu, terutama siswa, dalam membuat keputusan konsumsi yang cerdas dan sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Integrasi literasi halal ke dalam pembelajaran IPA memerlukan pengembangan indikator literasi halal yang dapat memandu siswa dalam memahami prinsip-prinsip sains dan menerapkan pemahaman tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, literasi halal bukan hanya tentang pemahaman konsep keislaman, tetapi juga melibatkan analisis terhadap label produk dan sertifikasi halal. Pengembangan indikator literasi halal menjadi penting untuk menciptakan landasan yang kokoh bagi siswa agar dapat mengaplikasikan pemahaman mereka dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan.

Abstract

This article discusses issues and problems related to halal products in the school environment, with a focus on the integration of halal products, student awareness, and accessibility of halal products. In the context of school education, the main challenges include the need for a holistic approach in providing halal products, clear policies regarding halal products, and a deep understanding of the concept of halal products. Adequate availability and accessibility of halal products in the school environment is also an important focus in creating an inclusive school environment for Muslim students. With a holistic understanding and increased awareness, it is hoped that the school environment can support students' religious needs more effectively. This research methodology is based on systematic literature analysis from leading sources, which is then synthesized to present a comprehensive picture of the issue of halal products in schools. Thus, this article provides comprehensive insight into halal product issues in the school education environment.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the validation and feasibility of the Alkaan Speil game interface. The method used in this study is design-based research (DBR), which encompasses three stages: analysis, design, and development. The validation test results yielded a calculated r-value of 0.93, indicating a high level of validity. Furthermore, the feasibility test, which includes content and material aspects, software engineering, and audio-visuals, resulted in a percentage of 84.08, suggesting that the Alkaan Speil game is effective as a learning tool for alkane material with a higher-order thinking approach. The findings of this research present significant implications for educational technology and pedagogy. The high validity score of 0.93 for the Alkaan Speil game underscores its robust design and affirms its potential as an innovative educational tool. The feasibility test results, with an impressive 84.08 score, further reinforce the game's effectiveness in facilitating higher-order thinking skills in the context of learning alkanes. This underlines the game's capacity to enhance understanding and engagement in chemistry education. While the current study was confined to the application's development phase, the implications extend to the need for comprehensive testing of the game's efficacy in a real-world educational setting. Future research should focus on deploying the game in classroom environments to empirically assess its impact on learning outcomes and student engagement, thereby contributing to the broader knowledge base of educational strategies in science teaching.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang penerapan literasi sains pada materi zat aditif dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran halal siswa terhadap makanan kemasan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara literasi sains dan peningkatan kesadaran halal. Dalam pembelajaran zat aditif, literasi sains diterapkan untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep dan konteks zat aditif dalam makanan kemasan. Proses ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan faktual, tetapi juga membantu siswa dalam berpikir kritis dan analitis, memungkinkan mereka untuk memahami, mengevaluasi, dan membuat keputusan berdasarkan informasi yang mereka peroleh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan skor kesadaran halal siswa setelah penerapan literasi sains, membuktikan efektivitas metode ini dalam meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya memilih makanan kemasan yang halal. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting untuk pendidikan sains, salah satunya mendorong sekolah untuk lebih meningkatkan literasi sains siswa dalam rangka meningkatkan kesadaran halal dalam mengonsumsi makanan kemasan.

Abstract

Food and drink are basic human needs that must be met every day. In Islam, the food and drink consumed must not only be halal (permissible), but also must be thayyib (good and beneficial). The introduction of the concept of thayyiban halal food has become an important element that has penetrated people's mindset. In an educational context, an understanding of this concept is very important to instill from an early age. This research aims to investigate the halal literacy profile of students in concept of halal food and thayyib in primary schools. A survey method with field observation was used to collect data from 40 students in grades 4, 5 and 6 at Beribu Foundation Elementary School. Data was collected through halal literacy questionnaires and interviews to gain in-depth understanding. Data analysis uses a descriptive approach to provide a clear picture of students' understanding of the concept. The research results show that there are variations in students' understanding, where most are close to correct understanding while others require deeper understanding. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the halal literacy profile of students at the elementary school level and can be a basis for developing better education in the concept of halal food and thayyib in the future.
