Abstract

Mental health is an important component that is closely related to social life, productivity, peace and stability in the environment, contributing to sosial life and economic development in Indonesian society. Mental health literacy is knowledge and beliefs about mental disorders that help to recognize, manage and prevent a person’s mental disorder. Mental helath literacy is also knowledge related to actions to provide mental helath benefits to individuals and others. Mental helath literacy is the ability to gain knowledge or information about mental health for adolescents, understand and can maintain good mental health. Mental health literacy includes the ability to recognize specific mental health disorders, knowing how to seek mental health information, knowledge of risks and causes of health disorders. The aim of this study is to improve mental health literacy in students and meet the criteria for eligibility aspects. This study used Reeves Design Based Research model. The subjects in this study were students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Kramatwatu. Collecting data using a questionnaire, in the form of an adaption instrument from a mental helath literacy question (MHLq). The results of this study indicate the level of mental health literacy in students obtained a value of 49% which is included in the moderate category.

Abstract

Ilmu kimia dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit dipelajari oleh siswa di SMA. Daya serap siswa pada pelajaran kimia hingga saat ini dianggap masih kurang memenuhi harapan. Model pembelajaran kooperatif diharapkan mampu dijadikan solusi agar siswa dapat memperoleh hasil belajar yang optimal. Pembelajaran tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD)dan tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif yang dapat diterapkan guru untuk menyampaikan konsep IPA di sekolah. Telah dilakukan penelitian di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Jayapura tahun ajaran 2011/2012, tentang Perbedaan Hasil Belajar Menggunakan Pembelajaran Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division dengan Tipe Think Pair Share Pada Materi Faktor-faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Laju Reaksi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswa kelas XI-IA2 yang diajar dengan tipe TPS dan kelas XI-IA3 yang diajar  dengan tipe STAD.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kedua kelas yang digunakan sebagai sampel, memiliki kemampuan yang relatif sama. Data hasil tes yang diberi setelah pembelajaran menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar kimia yang bermakna antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran tipe STAD dengan siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran tipe TPS. Pembelajaran tipe STAD lebih cocok digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tipe TPS. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar siswa, Student Teams Achievement Division, Think Pair Share, Laju Reaksi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1). Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru terhadap Kinerja Guru IPA SMP/MTs di Kota Jayapura, (2). Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPA SMP/MTs di Kota Jayapura, (3). Untuk mengetahui interaksi antara pemberian Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru terhadap peningkatan Kinerja Guru IPA SMP/MTs dan Prestasi Belajar IPA SMP/MTs di Kota Jayapura, (4). Untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru bagi para guru IPA dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya, (5). Untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru bagi para guru IPA dalam meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar IPA disekolahnya, (6). Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan kinerja antara Guru penerima Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru dengan Guru yang belum sertifikasi, (7). Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan Prestasi Belajar IPA antara Guru penerima Tunjangan Sertifikasi Guru dengan Guru yang belum Sertifikasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Hubungan antara tunjangan sertifikasi guru dengan kinerja guru IPA SMP/MTs di kota Jayapura menunjukkan hubungan cukup kuat (r=0,459), dengan prestasi belajar IPA siswa hubungan cukup kuat (r=0,458), terdapat interaksi cukup kuat antara pemberian tunjangan  sertifikasi guru dengan peningkatan kinerja guru IPA SMP/MTs dan prestasi belajar IPA SMP/MTs dikota Jayapura, efektifitas pemberian tunjangan sertifikasi guru terhadap kinerja guru IPA SMP/MTs di Kota Jayapura cukup efektif sementara ,efektifitas pemberian tunjangan sertifikasi guru terhadap prestasi belajar 1PA siswa SMP/MTs cukup efektif, terdapat perbedaan kinerja antara guru IPA penerima tunjangan sertifikasi guru  dengan guru  IPA yang belum sertifikasi dan tidak terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar IPA siswa antara guru IPA penerima tunjangan sertifikasi guru dengan guru IPA yang belum sertifikasi.Kata Kunci : Tunjangan Sertitikasi Guru, Kinerja Guru, Prestasi Belajar IPA

Abstract

The empirical facts found in class VII students showed that most students were less interested in the material being taught, monotonous learning so students seemed bored because they were less empowered. Quality learning outcomes require learning innovations that are appropriate and meaningful but still cool and fun. One of the innovations is the Hypno-Quantum Teaching learning model. The method used in this study was quasi-experimental with a sample of 80 people divided into two classes (control class and experimental class). The results showed that there were no differences in student interest but there were differences between hypno-quantum teaching and the class using conventional learning models, as evidenced by the value of 0.454 taken from the t-test.

Abstract

This study uses hypothesis testing with multiple regression and partial regression analysis. Multiple regression is used to test the fourth hypothesis concerning the relationship of giving certification allowance to motivation and work discipline of teacher, while for hypodesis testing one, two and three used partial test, that is to know relation of giving of certification allowance with motivation and relation giving certification allowance to discipline teacher work and motivational relationships and work discipline of teachers. The results showed that there was a relationship between certification allowance with motivation with significance value of 0.444 with medium category. There is a relationship between certification allowance and teacher work discipline with significance value of 0.469 with medium category. There is a relationship between motivation and discipline of junior high school teachers in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency with a significance value of 0.661 with strong category. There is a correlation between certification allowance with motivation and discipline of junior high school teacher in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency 0,502 with medium category. Keywords:  Provision of Teacher Certification Allowance, Motivation, Teacher Work Discipline

Abstract

This study aims to find out an overview of how the mathematics learning process on lines and angles in class VII SMP YPK 2 Manokwari, the level of teacher readiness, and to obtain an overview of the implementation of student-centered learning through the contextual learning model that takes place at SMP YPK 2. Manokwari on lines and angles. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that (1) The learning process of mathematics at SMP YPK 2, especially in the material of lines and angles, has gone well in accordance with the learning plan that has been made and in accordance with the learning steps, namely introduction, core activities, closing, and evaluation (2 ) The readiness of the teacher in preparing for learning is good (3) The implementation of learning that is centered on students through the contextual learning model has not been fully carried out due to time constraints and differences in the abilities of each student which are not the same as the lack of existing facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Cinnamon plant (Cinnamomum burmanii Blume) is a tall plant that contains secondary metabolites and is widely consumed by the community for generations which is used as a medicinal ingredient. The part of the cinnamon plant that is widely used by the community is the bark. Cinnamon bark extraction was carried out by maceration method in 96% ethanol followed by evaporation until a thick extract was formed. Furthermore, characterization was carried out and applied to hyperglycemic wistar rats by observing the decrease in blood sugar levels. The results showed that the moisture content was 9.62% and the yield was 14.74% and the phytochemical test showed that the cinnamon bark extract was positive for polyphenols and flavonoids. Cinnamon bark extract was able to reduce blood sugar levels of hyperglycemic wistar rats to reach normal which was observed from the third day after being injected with alloxan until the seventeenth day.

Abstract

The purposesof this research are (1) to know is there any difference on study interest between class who apply media based non computer with class who did not (2) to know is there any differences student’s result between class who apply media base on computer with class who did not (3) to know is there any improvement on student’s study result between class who apply media base on computer with class who did not. The population on this research is all student in class X odd semester in the year of 2012/2013 SMAN1 Wamena with the student’s 450. The sample that is used is student’s in class X A as an experiment class and class X B as control class. The collection data did by using test on study result and questionaire. Technique of data analysis used SPSS 16. The nominal result shows that nGrain experiment 0,6 and nGrain control is 0,4 the significan counting is > 0,05 and data is normal. The result homogeneityshow sig count is > 0,05 significance so both of these group have some variant or homogeny. The result of hypothesis test (test t) sig count is <0,05 achieve Ha and reject Ho. The result of this research are (1) There is any difference  on student’s interest between class who used media based on computer and class who did not (2) There is any significant difference on study result between who used media based on computer and class who did not (3) Student’s study result in class who used media base on computer is improve rather that class who did not.Keywords : Media Base on Computer, Learning Interest, Study Result, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan informasi tentang 1) keterlaksanaan pendekatan saintifik  dalam pembelajaran kimia, serta 2) kompetensi pedagogik yang dibutuhkan oleh seorang calon guru melalui keterampilan dasar mengajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif dengan menerapkan model kesenjangan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi dan penilaian dokumen terhadap 11 mahasiswa PPL dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: 1) keterlaksanaan pendekatan saintifik berada pada kategori tinggi (64,3% ), dan  2) mahasiswa PPL program studi pendidikan kimia Universitas Cenderawasih telah memiliki kompetensi pedagogik yang diterapkan melalui keterampilan dasar mengajar diantaranya: keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan menyusun skenario/tahapanpembelajaran, keterampilan mengadakan variasi, keterampilan membimbing diskusi dan keterampilan melakukan evaluasi. Kata Kunci : kompetensi pedagogik, keterampilan dasar mengajar, mahasiswa PPL, pendekatansaintifik
