Abstract

Pembangunan nasional di bidang pendidikan merupakan upaya meningkatkan kualitas manusia Indonesia. Dengan dikeluarkannya Undang-Undang Nomor 14 tahun 2005 tentang profesi guru mendorong penulis mengadakan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah persentase tingkat kesiapan guru kimia SMA di Pematangsiantar dalam menghadapi uji sertifikasi guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap guru-guru kimia di lima SMA di Pematangsiantar. Untuk instrument angket dilakukan proses uji coba angket dengan cara uji validitas angket yaitu distribusi responden, validitas isi, daya beda butir pernyataan: setelah diperoleh item yang valid kemudian dilakukan reliabilitas dengan harga r adalah 0,965. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan guru kimia SMA di Pematangsiantar dari segi komponen persepsi guru kimia terhadap uji sertifikasi guru berada pada tingkat siap 51,97%; komponen pemahaman guru kimia terhadap prosedur pelaksanaan uji sertifikasi guru berada pada tingkat siap 54,09%; komponen pemahaman guru kimia terhadap UU no.14 tahun 2005 tentang guru dan dosen berada pada tingkat siap 46%; komponen pemahaman guru kimia terhadap peraturan pemerintah no.19 tahun 2005 tentang standar nasional pendidikan berada pada tingkat siap 52,36%; komponen pemahaman guru tentang komponen yang ada dalam uji sertifikasi berada pada tingkat siap 41,30%. Dengan melihat tingkat kesiapan guru kimia SMA di Pematangsiantar dalam menghadapi uji sertifikasi guru, maka seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam bidang pendidikan khususnya guru perlu lebih memahami kembali semua komponen yang ada dalam uji sertifikasi guru demi kemajuan mutu dan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia sebagai tujuan dari semua program dan kebijakan yang dikeluarkan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia.Kata kunci: Sertifikasi Guru, Komponen Pedagogik, Komponen Kepribadian, Komponen Profesionalisme, Komponen Sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to identify physical and social environmental conditions in the APO residential area of Bhayangkara Village and to determine the quality of the APO residential environment in Bhayangkara Village.This research method is descriptive analytical with a quantitative approach using secondary data analysis supported by field surveys. Research locations in the APO region of Bhayangkara Regency, North Jayapura Regency, Jayapura Regency. The sample location consists of two  neighborhood association. The unit of analysis in this study consisted of housing units.The results showed that the pattern of settlement in the APO area was concentrated in hilly valleys and hillside with a fairly high building density. The quality of the physical environment of the APO area in Bhayangkara Village has decreased due to the high level of building density indicated by the Building Base Coefficient (CDB) value of 78% and the Environment Friendly Coefficient (EFC) of 6.4%. the social environment is still relatively good, this is indicated by the still interaction between residents living in this region.Keywords: Environmental quality, Settlement, physical environment, Socio-cultural environment.

Abstract

Ethnobotanical and taxonomical studies are conducted to uncover the scientific name, uses as well as utilization of Diwoka (local name) popular to the Dani people in Wamena. The local name, Diwoka, is determined by its scientific name Piper macropiper Pennant. Piper macropiper has been used by the Dani people to serve as spices when foods are cooked traditionally by stone-fired earth oven (bakarbatu) or prepared in other ways such as stir-frying vegetables, fish, and meat. The leaves can be consumed uncooked the way salad is consumed beside it is functioned as medicine as well. The distribution of this type of plant is found in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Australia (Northern territory), Brunei, and Sri Lanka

Abstract

Pola belajar ketika siswa di SD atau SMP yang tidak sama dengan pola belajar di SMA sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap keberhasilan proses belajar. Hal tersebut terlihat dari siswa SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura yang rendah minat bacanya berkaitan dengan latar belakang siswa yang tidak biasa membaca. Pola Literasi yang digulirkan Pemerintah belum begitu efektif, oleh karena itu perlu guru bahasa Indonesia memikirkan suatu cara yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk gemar membaca dan memiliki karakter kerja keras.Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah Buku Kendali Tagihan Literasi dapat membentuk karakter kerja keras?Metode penelitian kualitatif deskripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura berjumlah 194.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) buku Kendali Tagihan Literasi menumbuhkan karakter kerja keras siswa. 91% siswa telah menyelesaikan kegiatan literasi dengan membaca buku sebanyak minimal 4 buku dalam 1 semester. Kata Kunci: kartu kendali, literasi, budaya tutur, kerja keras

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini  adalah untuk mengkaji perbedaan metode pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan berikir kritis  siswa pada pelajaran Biologi. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pola desain kelompok kontrol pre tes – pos tes (The Pre Test – Post test Control Group Design). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dalam penyampaian pembelajaran Biologi sangat sesuai. Oleh karena itu penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dapat diterapkan dalam setiap bahan ajar geografi bernuansa spasial.   Kata Kunci:  Metode pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan, metode konvensional, hasil belajar dan kemamapuan berfikir kritis siswa

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan judul “Pengaruh Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Motivasi Kerja Guru IPA terhadap Hasil Belajar pada Materi Fotosintesis Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dekai “ untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja guru IPA terhadap hasil belajar pada materi fotosintesis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dekai. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dan metode dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap hasil belajar pada materi fotosintesis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dekai sebesar 39,2%. Pengaruh motivasi kerja guru IPA terhadap hasil belajar pada materi fotosintesis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dekai sebesar 55,9%. Pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja guru IPA secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar pada materi fotosintesis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dekai sebesar 70,75%.Kata kunci : Kompetensi Pedagogik, Motivasi Kerja Guru IPA, Hasil Belajar, fotosintesis

Abstract

Papua's local wisdom module is really needed to improve learning outcomes with contextual and tangible control where so far there has been lack of teaching materials based on local wisdom. This research is a research and development (Research & Development) that aims to find out how to develop integrated science modules based on local Papuan wisdom materials on the interaction of living things with the environment in class VII students of Nurul Huda Yapis Jayapura in knowing improvement in learning outcomes after using the module. The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with an experimental design using a pre test post test one group design, which uses one research class with a sample of 37 students. The results showed. (1) The results of the feasibility test for the prepared learning modules, based on material validation, obtained an average of 90.6%, media validation with an average of 92%, educator responses 96.25% and mean responses of students by 90.7%. In general the average for the module feasibility test is 92.10% which means the module is very suitable for use in learning. (2) There is an increase in students' learning outcomes after using a module based on local Papuan wisdom, based on the n-Gain results in RPP 1 is 0.57, RPP 2 is 0.71 and RPP 3 is 0.75. The n-Gain average for the three RPPs is 0.68 with a moderate category which means the use of science modules based on local Papuan wisdom is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a development of learning model (R & D) with ADDIE approach, expected to overcome the problem of classroom learning. This research produces the following: 1) development stage in the form of: analysis, design, develompent, implementation, and evaluation of the field, 2) NOKEN approach expressed very valid by validator, 3) The effectiveness of biology learning through NOKEN approach is very good, more than 80% student activity and more than 20% grade test completion, 4) NOKEN learning approach has a response rate of over 90%, with an indication of interest to students. Based on the results obtained, NOKEN learning approach, can be used as one of the alternative pendektan new learning as an effort to improve the quality of learning in class, especially class X biology subjects Environmental balance material

Abstract

The atomic structure material has certain characteristics and difficulties, including the need for a lot of knowledge and analytical skills that students have. Therefore, students need to be given the right learning model in order to increase their interest and learning activities.The learning model that can be done is to carry out learning by applying a cooperative approach, one of which is the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type. The effectiveness of using the TGT model can be increased by providing question cards media. The question card media used in this study is a card containing Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions that require students' higher order thinking skills.The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the TGT type cooperative learning model with the help of HOTS-based question card media on atomic structure material on higher-order thinking skills and student learning outcomes of physics education.Based on the results of research and calculations, it can be concluded that the provision of question card media in the TGT model on the atomic structure material is effective on student learning outcomes with Sig values. (0.028) <0.05, then there is a difference in learning outcomes so that it can be concluded that the experimental class is more effective than the control class. Supported by the highest lowest scores in the experimental group, namely 75 and 100 with an average of 90.02, while the control group was 65 and 100 with an average of 84.2.

Abstract

This research was made to know the relation and the influence of constructive approach to the learning result of students in grade 8th SMP N 11 Jayapura for the vibration  and wave lesson of 2012/2013 academic year. This research is quantitative research. The population of this research are all of grade 8th students of SMP N 11 Jayapura. The technique of data collection that used is purposive sampling, with 32 students as the sample to know the relationship between the constructive approach with the learning result, correlation analysis has been used to prove it with the result tcount > ttable, equal 4.044 > 2.042, it means there’s any relationship between constructive approach to the learning result, while to know the influence between constructive approach to the learning result, regressive analysis has been applied with the result Fcount> Ftable , equal 16.358 > 4.17, it means there’s an influence between the constructive approach to the learning result of the students. Key word: constructive approach, the learning result.
