Abstract

The movement of stock returns is a complex phenomenon that can be influenced by a number of factors, both macroeconomic and global factors. This study aims to explore the relationship and understand the extent to which these factors affect stock return movements, especially in the context of macroeconomic and global dynamics. The population of this study consists of companies listed in the IDXENERGY sector. Purposive sampling is used as a sample selection technique and 30 companies that meet the criteria are obtained. Panel data regression analysis with a significance level of 5% was conducted using Eviews 13. The research findings show that GDP has a negative impact on stock returns, while exchange rates, DJIA Index, and world oil prices have a positive impact on stock returns

Abstract

Research on the conversion of methyl oleate (Methyl 9-octadecenoate) into shorter chain alkane compounds through the stages of methyl 9-octadecenoate into 1-octadecanol, 1-octadecanol into 1-octadecene and 1-octadecene into alkane compounds and short chain alkenes with a length of C12 > have been done. The conversion process uses ZSiA and Ni/ZSiA catalysts which are placed in a fixed bed system reactor column and operated at temperatures of 400, 450 and 500 oC. ZSiA catalyst was made by washing natural zeolite with distilled water, soaking with 2 M HCl solution, adding 5% Na2SiO3 w/w, soaking with 2 M NH4Cl solution, calcining at a temperature of 500 oC while flowing nitrogen gas for two hours at a flow rate of 20 milliliters per minute; oxidation during a two-hour oxygen flow rate of 20 milliliters per minute; and impregnation of Ni metal onto the catalyst sample's surface using Ni(NO3)2 6H2O metal 2% w/w. Subsequently, reduction was done for two hours while hydrogen gas was flowing at a rate of 20 mL per minute. The resultant catalyst was subjected to various analyses, including AAS analysis for metal cation content, gravimetric analysis for acidity, NOVA 1000 surface area analyzer for specific surface area, and X-ray diffractometer (XRD, Shimadzu-6000) analysis for crystallinity

Abstract

Licensed aviation security officers, known as Aviation Security, are responsible for managing and providing security services at airports. One of the main roles of Aviation Security (AVSEC) is to ensure the quality of security services at the Yogyakarta International Airport Security Check Point (SCP) for passengers. In research conducted in the November-December 2022 period at YIA Airport, it was found that a number of Avsec officers were still not friendly enough in providing services to consumers. The aim of this research is to understand the impact of the quality of Security Check Point security services by AVSEC officers on the level of passenger satisfaction at Yogyakarta International Airport. Apart from that, this research also aims to assess the extent to which the quality of Security Check Point security services by AVSEC officers influences passenger satisfaction at Yogyakarta International Airport. This research adopted a quantitative approach and was carried out at Yogyakarta International Airport. Respondents in this study consisted of fifty aviation security officers. To collect data, researchers used observation, questionnaires and documentation methods. Data management is carried out through simple linear regression analysis

Abstract

The Covid 19 (Coronavirus Disease That Was Discovered In 2019) pandemic has encouraged people to have high digital literacy. Since entering the New Normal Era, people as buyers must also avoid and make transactions using cash and make more use of digital payments, one of which is through digital wallet platforms. The aim of this research is to explore the antecedent factors that influence the intensity of digital wallet use and also to look at the moderating role of customer trust. This research was conducted on 194 respondents who are digital wallet users. This research uses quantitative methods using covariance based structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis tools. The research sample was Gopay/OVO/Dana digital wallet users aged 17 to 45 years and had used digital wallets for at least 6 months. Several variables in this research were confirmed to be antecedent factors for the intensity of digital wallet use, where attitude was proven to have a positive influence on intention to use and of all the factors that influence attitude, perceived usefulness is the most dominant. Some of the recommendations from this study are to continue to increase the benefits that digital wallet users can experience so that they will improve attitudes to increase the intensity of payments using digital wallets

Abstract

This article aims to review the relationship between proponents of Islamic politics and the New Order government. This article uses historical methods, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research results show that the emergence of the New Order government cannot be separated from the support of military groups and Islamic political forces. The Islamic group's support for the New Order government was related to this group's desire to be involved in implementing state policies, especially in the field of government politics. This desire turned out not to be as expected, because the struggle of Islamic groups in political channels received restrictions and pressure from the government because it was considered to threaten national integration and development

Abstract

Cyclic natural rubber (CNR) and polyamide (PA) cannot blend homogeneously due to their differing polarities. CNR is nonpolar with low surface tension, while PA is polar with high surface tension. To achieve a homogeneous and compatible CNR/PA blend, a CNR-g-OA compatibilizer is required. This study aims to investigate the influence of CNR-g-OA and nano bentonite on the physical and chemical properties of the PA/CNR mixture. The research findings indicate successful grafting of OA onto CNR, resulting in CNR-g-OA formation. Based on electron microscope structural analysis, the CNR/PA mixture yields a homogeneous and compatible blend. In conclusion, CNR-g-OA and nano bentonite can enhance the quality of the PA/CNR blend by producing a homogeneous and compatible mixture

Abstract

AUKUS is a trilateral defense pact between Australia, United Kingdom, and United States formed in September 2021. Derived from the countries’ initials, AUKUS serves a security partnership to strengthen integrated deterrence. The pact focuses on enhancing nuclear-powered submarines and developing trilateral cooperation on emerging technology. This study’s discussion focuses on regional security complex analysis in AUKUS viewpoint to the rivalry between United States and China in Taiwan. The method used descriptive research with qualitative approach analysis. Tension between these two countries is seen as a manifestation of their respective national interests. The resolution of the regional security complex here can be observed through the strategies prepared to deter China and how AUKUS could achieve advantages regarding Taiwan's status

Abstract

The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is a democratic legal state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021 concerning the Use of Restorative Justice in the Process of Criminal Offenses is a regulation that regulates the use of restorative justice. This study will discuss the following topics: the impact of handling criminal prosecutions through restorative justice in accordance with the Republic of Indonesia State Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021; challenges and initiatives associated with this approach; and the impact of handling criminal prosecutions in accordance with the provisions mentioned above. The use of restorative justice in stalking cases can be applied to mild, moderate and severe stalking situations if there is peace between the parties mediated by police mediators and community leaders, according to the results of studies and discussions. Investigators face several challenges, including: the reporter's demands are higher than the applicant's capabilities; the perpetrator is a recidivist who has a previous criminal history; the perpetrator and victim are less cooperative; consideration of victims is not carried out transparently; and previously there had been a conflict between the perpetrator and the victim
