Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the validity, reliability, difficulty index, differentiation index, and the effectiveness of distractors on the even semester Indonesian language test questions of class VII SMP Negeri 11 Ruteng, Manggarai Regency in the 2022/2023 academic year using the Iteman version 4.3 programme. The method used was descriptive quantitative. The validity results show that the 40 items of multiple choice questions compiled are valid questions. The reliability results of 40 questions tested on 25 students obtained an Alpha Cronbach score of 0.788. Thus, the question is declared reliable because the amount of the reliability index is more than 0.60. The average index of difficulty (ITK) of all items is 0.433, with 9 questions at the easy level, 10 questions at the medium level, 12 questions at the difficult level, and 9 other questions at the very difficult level. The average index of discriminating power (IDB) is 0.246 with 13 questions declared feasible, 5 questions declared moderate (feasible and do not need to be revised), 7 questions declared good enough (feasible and need to be revised), 15 questions declared unfit. The results of the effectiveness of the distractors showed that 39 of the questions were functioning and 1 question option was not functioning

Abstract

The role of concrete as a material to strengthen buildings with long-term durability is an important goal of construction. Abaca fiber has the potential to strengthen concrete network materials. The purpose of this study was to identify the tensile strength characteristics of concrete using abaca fiber. The method used is through experimental studies in the laboratory to test the tensile strength of concrete blocks. This research was carried out in the Materials and Structures Laboratory using five stages. The results of this research have found that the potential of abaca fiber as a binder for cylindrical concrete aggregates with a certain fiber length and fiber volume allows the concrete to be stronger and have high resistance compared to ordinary concrete. In the split tensile strength section, the results obtained show that abaca fiber concrete provides stronger resistance than ordinary concrete if the fiber length is 50mm high and the fiber volume is at 0.15%. The same results are shown in the flexural strength of the beam without reinforcement, namely concrete with abaca fiber has strong toughness if the fiber length content used is 50mm and the fiber volume is at 0.15%. Overall, abaca fiber is very influential on the resistance of concrete if the fiber length and fiber volume are at a certain point, namely 50mm and 0.15%

Abstract

This research aims to describe the understanding of geometry concepts of fifth grade elementary school students regarding angles through the application of the Manuk Dadali Dance media. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this research were fifth grade students at SDN Sedati Gede 2 Sidoarjo, including one subject with high ability, one subject with medium ability, and one subject with low ability. The data collection techniques used were written tests and interviews, while the research instruments used were written tests related to corner material which contained description questions and interview guidelines. The results of this study show that students with high ability were able to complete all the written tests correctly, students with moderate ability were not able to solve one written test question related to the addition of two or more angles correctly, and students with low ability were not able to write down the meaning of one rotation angle full exactly

Abstract

This study uses firm size as an intervening variable to investigate the relationship between intangible assets and sound corporate governance and a company's financial success. This study takes a quantitative approach, using a sample of banking companies. Annual financial reports from 2018 to 2022 that are posted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) include secondary data. Over the course of the five-year study, which comprised 46 organizations as subjects and 20 samples, 100 yearly financial report data were collected. In this study, purposive sampling is employed. Gathering and evaluating data for descriptive statistics, model appropriateness testing, Path analysis, traditional assumption testing, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing constitutes data processing. The outcomes of statistics Experiments reveal that intangible assets and sound corporate governance do not affect a company's size at the same time. The company's size and effective corporate governance both have an impact on its financial performance. The financial performance of the company is unaffected by intangible assets. The Sobel test results demonstrate that the impact of intangible assets and sound corporate governance on a company's financial success cannot be mitigated by a company's size

Abstract

In the era of globalization doing business, organization always needs to be competitive, succeed and maintain sustainability as long as possible. Organization shall implement continual improvement in their excellent quality of management strategy to achieve their goals. Organization also needs to adapt to the international best practice. International Organization for Standardization or ISO is one of the best standard to be referred and implement their standard in the organization. In many cases implementation of ISO facing issues related to leadership commitment. Several research argued that leadership is not the main factor to be success in implementation of the ISO standard while other researcher argued that the leadership is playing very significant role to achieve ISO certification. This gap lead to this literature review research. Literature review shown that leadership is proven playing significant role to keep organization meeting the ISO requirement. This result imply to every organization to keep leadership to be number one priority to implement ISO or else the organization will face totally failure is implementing ISO Standard

Abstract

Low back pain (LBP) is a complaint that dentists often encounter because of the tendency to work with static movements for a long duration of time. There are some indicated factors that may involve in the occurrence of the LBP, one of which is the level of physical activity. This study aimed to confirm and understand the association of physical activity level to the incidence of low back pain. The research method was analytical observation with a cross-sectional design. The study used questionnaires on physical activity level and low back pain which were distributed to 76 samples of dentists in the Yogyakarta City area. The data was further analyzed with a chi-square test. The results showed a value of 9.147 with degree of freedom 1 and significance of 0.002. This value is greater than the table's chi-square value of 3.841, which means that there was a significant proportion association between physical activity level and low back pain occurrence
