Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana bentuk resistensi perempuan pada film Secret Superstar karya sutradara Advait Chandan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori semiotik model Roland Barthes dan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk memecahkan masalah berdasarkan data-data yang ada yakni dengan menyajikan data, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan data. Kemudian data yang sudah diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teori semiotik model Roland Barthes. Pada teori semiotik menurut Roland Barthes yang menggunakan model siginifikasi tahapan yakni denotasi, konotasi dan mitos. Selanjutnya peneliti menganalisis resistensi perempuan yang ada dalam film Secret Superstar. Resistensi perempuan menurut James C. Scott terbagi menjadi dua yaitu resistensi terbuka dan resistensi tertutup. Film Secret Superstar bercerita mengenai perjuangan perempuan melawan ketidakadilan dalam hidupnya yang disebabkan oleh diskriminasi dari pihak penguasa (laki-laki).

Abstract

Persentase penduduk yang hidup di bawah garis kemiskinan nasional menunjukkan sebesar 9,59 persennya adalah penduduk laki-laki dan 10,06 persen adalah perempuan. Salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam mengurangi tingkat kemiskinan pada perempuan yaitu melalui Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Republik Indonesia (KPPPA RI) yang  meluncurkan sebuah program unggulan bernama Three Ends. Salah satu aspek dari program ini yaitu mengakhiri kesenjangan ekonomi yang dimanifestasikan ke dalam Program Industri Rumahan (IR) yang bertujuan memberdayakan perempuan pelaku IR agar dapat mengembangkan usahanya. Kota Pangkalpinang dipilih dalam penelitian ini karena merupakan sentral perekonomian dan memiliki tingkat garis kemiskinan paling tinggi di Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat pemberdayaan pelaku IR di Kota Pangkalpinang melalui analisis model gender milik Longwe yang terdiri dari lima aspek yaitu 1) Kesejahteraan, 2) Aspek, 3) Penyadaran, 4) Partisipasi, dan 5) Kontrol. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mixed method berupa deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 32 orang pelaku IR yang telah terjaring program. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program IR belum optimal dalam memenuhi beberapa aspek longwe seperti akses, partisipasi, dan kontrol. Hanya aspek kesejahteraan dan penyadaran yang terpenuhi.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the characteristics, etiologies, identifications, impacts, interventions, and some factors that contribute to individuals and students with hearing impairment. By using qualitative approach from data obtained from books and journal articles, it is found that there are four characteristics of individuals with hearing impairment. Hearing impairment often occurs due to genetic and non-genetic factors, and appears when the babies are in the period of language development (prelingual deafness). For facilitating individuals with hearing impairment, there are two methods; they are methods of communication and education. Three studies were found to be associated with hearing impairment. This is a basic step of literature review that relates to hearing impairment, further studies can focus on the factors contributing to hearing impairment based on educational or social context.

Abstract

This study is conducted to collect sufficient information about the development of inclusive education in three Asian countries; South Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia. The research method applied in this study is a literature study. This study collects several previous studies to answer the development of inclusive education in Asia. The development of inclusive education that relates to the early history of inclusive education to its current practices. Every child has the right to obtain a proper education. This right is protected by law in every country. One of the programs carried out to achieve Education for All is special or inclusive education. This education program is a strategy used to protect the rights of disabled students to obtain a proper education without discrimination. Several studies have shown the obstacles and developments experienced by inclusive education. Every country has its own obstacles and progress. This study is expected to be an insight to know how the development of inclusive education in South Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia

Abstract

This article focuses on Turkish girls who wear the veil and their sense of belonging in Germany. Data was collected in five different cities in the federal state of North Rhein Westphalia from girls who were from 13 to 21 years old. Focus group interviews, socio-economic questionnaire and life history interviews were the source for the data. The data was analysed with Grounded Theory (Charmaz 2019). The analysis interprets how being Muslim, wearing the veil, and gender intersect in defining belonging to a nation.

Abstract

The term “intersectionality” appears back in the day of oppressing still incurred upon black women, the condition that has been spoken up for hundreds of year but never come to an end. Kimberlé Crenshaw as an advocate of American civil right for black women is voicing her thought regarding the intersection of race and gender from the clashes in treatment upon black women among the society. The theory of intersectionality questions the power of black women that is in bare minimum, likely none, in opposite to the power of white men as the highest in the society. Thus, the theory is used to analyze the intersections of human being in the term of race, gender, and sex as well.This research found the intersectionality of race and gender from the perspective of Crenshaw over the characters in the novel “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows” written by J.K. Rowling. The findings show the intersections of human and non-human creatures appeared in the novel along the terms of wizarding world of Harry Potter.

Abstract

This paper describes the development of creativity in the preparation center for TA-TK Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Solo. The preparation center is one of the learning centers in early childhood education institutions. This center is a place to play for reading, writing, math, and other activities that support children's preparation for primary school. However, it should be noted that provision for early childhood to continue primary school is not only reading and counting skills, but also children's creativity needs to be developed. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the preparation center in developing children's creativity in Al Azhar Syifa Budi Solo Kindergarten. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the four elements of creativity (person, process, press, product) are contained in learning at the center of creativity. The purpose of developing creativity in Al Azhar TA-Kindergarten is to build children's character and to recognize children's talents and interests. The teacher is the main key to developing children's creativity. Because the teacher plays a role in designing activities, selecting games, presenting games, and evaluating the results of children's play. There are efforts to improve teacher competence, namely by participating in seminars, workshops, training and competitions which are participated in by teachers.

Abstract

This paper describes the development of verbal intelligence in English at TK Negeri Gemolong Sragen. English is an international language that must be introduced to children to face global competition in the future. Therefore, this study aims to determine the teacher's strategy in stimulating the verbal intelligence of early childhood in Kindergarten Negeri Gemolong. This research method uses qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's strategy in developing children's English verbal intelligence is carried out by intracurricular and extracurricular activities. Intracurricular activities are activities that are carried out based on scheduled, regular and structured activities carried out by the teacher during the learning process. In intracurricular activities the teacher uses collaborative methods from several existing methods consisting of the habituation method, the playing method, the singing method. The standard of achievement in English for children in Gemolong Kindergarten, namely self-introduction material, body parts, numbers 1-10, colors, animals, and fruit.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang pendidikan seks di PAUD Aisyiyah Cabang Kartasura. Setiap tahun selalu ada kasus kejahatan seksual yang terjadi. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya perhatian masyarakat, guru dan pemerintah mengenai pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam menerapkan pendidikan seks di PAUD Aisyiyah Cabang Kartasura. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan seks dibagi menjadi 2, yaitu pendidikan seks dalam materi pembelajara dan di luar materi Pendidikan seks yang masuk dalam materi pembelajaran yaitu ketika tema diri sendiri. Materi yang diberikan pada anak antara lain nama-nama anggota badan, tata cara berpakaian, tata cara bersuci, bagaimana bersikap pada orang asing. Sedangkan pendidikan seks di luar materi pembelajaran yaitu pemisahan toilet, pemisahan tempat tidur, pemisahan pergaulan, melatih anak untuk memakai baju muslim, penyuluhan kesehatan, keteladanan serta parenting untuk wali murid.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the language features of men and women in the animated video in the Tekotok Youtube Channel. In addition, to describe how the videos describe men and women. The research method used was qualitative research. The data source used in this study was speech from the figures in several animated videos from Youtube Channel Tekotok taken randomly. The results showed that based on the language features raised by the Lakoff, the majority was not in accordance with the speech mentioned by woman character where there were no Color Words, Empty Adjectives, Hedge, Intensifiers, Question Tags, and Emphatic Stress. Even some of the language features are contrary to what was delivered by Lakoff’s theory. For example, the Hypercorrect Grammar feature in this context is Indonesian not found. Likewise with the Super Polite Form, for example, there are several swear words of feed delivered by the woman character.
