Abstract

Distribusi sembako (sembilan bahan pokok) secara efisien dan merata menjadi tantangan besar di tengah kebutuhan masyarakat perkotaan yang terus meningkat. Perkembangan teknologi digital menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, salah satunya melalui aplikasi berbasis e-commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, mengembangkan, dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi Sembol sebagai platform distribusi sembako yang terintegrasi. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memberikan akses yang lebih mudah, cepat, dan aman bagi konsumen, serta menawarkan mekanisme distribusi yang efisien bagi pemasok dan pengecer sembako. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan pengguna, desain antarmuka yang mudah digunakan, dan pengujian sistem untuk memastikan stabilitas dan kinerja aplikasi. Studi kasus dilakukan di daerah perkotaan dengan populasi yang tinggi untuk mengukur dampak implementasi Sembol terhadap efektivitas distribusi sembako. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Sembol mampu meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi hingga 35% dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional, mengurangi biaya logistik, dan meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Kesimpulannya, inovasi teknologi melalui aplikasi Sembol berpotensi menjadi solusi berkelanjutan dalam rantai pasok sembako di era digital, sekaligus mendukung peningkatan aksesibilitas sembako bagi masyarakat luas

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of QR Code service as a customer complaint system on Indihome, a flagship product of PT Telkom Indonesia. This service aims to simplify the process for customers to report internet issues without needing to contact the call center or visit the office. By scanning the QR Code, customers can easily fill out a complaint form that is directly linked to repair technicians. The results show that the QR Code service enhances efficiency and responsiveness in handling customer complaints, as well as providing convenience for users who no longer face the burden of call charges. However, challenges remain for long-term customers who are less familiar with this technology. This study also highlights the importance of effective socialization to both staff and customers to ensure the service is fully utilized in the future.

Abstract

Distribution of basic necessities (nine basic commodities) efficiently and evenly is a major challenge amidst the increasing needs of urban communities. The development of digital technology offers innovative solutions to overcome this problem, one of which is through e-commerce-based applications. This study aims to design, develop, and implement the Sembol application as an integrated basic necessities distribution platform. This application is designed to provide easier, faster, and safer access for consumers, as well as offer an efficient distribution mechanism for basic necessities suppliers and retailers. The methodology used includes user needs analysis, user-friendly interface design, and system testing to ensure application stability and performance. Case studies were conducted in urban areas with high populations to measure the impact of Sembol implementation on the effectiveness of basic necessities distribution. The results of the study showed that the Sembol application was able to increase distribution efficiency by up to 35% compared to conventional methods, reduce logistics costs, and increase user satisfaction. In conclusion, technological innovation through the Sembol application has the potential to be a sustainable solution in the basic necessities supply chain in the digital era, while also supporting increased accessibility of basic necessities for the wider community.

Abstract

Pompa sirkulasi mengalirkan cairan pendingin di dalam sistem pendingin secara terus-menerus untuk menyerap panas dari peralatan-peralatan yang membutuhkan pendinginan pada proses produksi di dove plant. Pengendali kecepatan putar pompa sirkulasi tersebut menggunakan inverter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh penggunaan inverter terhadap pompa sirkulasi serta melakukan perbandingan pemakaian daya listrik pompa sirkulasi menggunakan inverter dan tanpa inverter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah kecepatan putar motor berbanding lurus dengan frekuensi dan daya listrik motor. Perbandingan rata-rata dalam 1 hari pemakaian daya listrik pompa sirkulasi menggunakan inverter sebesar 6,56 kW sedangkan pemakaian daya listrik pompa sirkulasi tanpa inverter sebesar 10,98 kW. Penghematan pemakaian daya listrik yang didapat pompa sirkulasi menggunakan inverter sebesar 4,42 kW per hari. Pemakaian daya listrik pompa sirkulasi yang menggunakan inverter jauh lebih hemat dibandingkan pompa sirkulasi tanpa inverter dikarenakan penggunaan inverter dapat mengatur kecepatan putar motor yang mengakibatkan tegangan keluaran dan arus motor tidak selalu dalam kondisi maksimal dan konstan, sehingga pemakaian daya listrik jauh lebih rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of minor inspection implementation on increasing the economic value of PLTGU Unit 1 PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Belawan, in this case PLTGU Unit 1 is the name of the GT 1.1 generator, the limitations of this study are directed at the performance parameters of the generator such as, specific gas consumption (SGC), heat rate, thermal efficiency, and net power output, to determine the impact of minor inspection implementation on increasing economic value. The results of the study showed that after minor inspection, there was a decrease in the specific gas consumption (SGC) value from 0.0120 mmBTU/kWh to 0.0119 mmBTU/kWh, a decrease in the heat rate value from 3,043.85 kCal/kWh to 3,027.76 kCal/kWh, an increase in thermal efficiency from 28.25% to 28.40%, in terms of electrical energy production, there was an increase in net power output from the previous 94,310 kWh to 94,390 kWh, this indicates an increase in net power output which contributes to increasing the availability of electricity supply to the system. Thus, minor inspection has been proven to provide a real contribution to increasing the economic value of the power plant, and is recommended to be carried out routinely according to the maintenance schedule.

Abstract

The development of information technology drives digitalization in various sectors, including the culinary business. Medan Float Smoothies Store still uses a conventional sales system, which causes various obstacles in order recording, stock management, and financial reporting. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a website-based sales system to improve operational efficiency. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model approach. The results of the study show that the implementation of a PHP and MySQL-based system has succeeded in replacing manual processes, increasing transaction accuracy, and expanding market reach through online ordering features. With this system, customers can easily view products, make transactions, and get stock information in real time. The benefits of this study are increasing business efficiency, reducing transaction errors, and providing a more practical shopping experience for customers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi serah terima barang masuk dan keluar berbasis web pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kota Medan. Sistem ini dikembangkan sebagai solusi terhadap proses manual yang selama ini digunakan, yang sering menimbulkan ketidakteraturan, keterlambatan, dan kesalahan dalam pencatatan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi yang dapat mencatat aktivitas serah terima barang secara digital, dengan fitur pengelolaan data barang, pencatatan transaksi masuk dan keluar, serta pelaporan. Implementasi sistem ini menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan barang, sekaligus mendukung transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat menunjang kinerja BPBD Kota Medan dalam penanganan logistik kebencanaan secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

MSMEs are the backbone of the national economy, but many have yet to adapt to digital technology. MSMEs “Ghonim Kue” face challenges in reaching a wide range of customers because they still rely on conventional sales systems. This research aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of Ghonim Kue mobile application using the Design Thinking method. With several processes in it, among others, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing are processes in implementing the design thinking method. The creation of this application uses Figma software as a mobile display designer and is tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results of 26 users showed a SUS score of 66.15 which is included in the “Adjective scale Good and Accepbility Marginal High” category. This design is expected to be a digital solution that can increase the competitiveness of Ghonim Kue MSMEs in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged educational institutions to adopt digital-based learning systems to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to design and develop a web-based online learning (e-learning) application at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan using the Waterfall software development method. The application is designed to facilitate teachers and students in conducting online learning activities, such as uploading materials, submitting assignments, participating in discussions, and evaluating learning outcomes. The Waterfall method was chosen because it provides a structured and systematic approach to system development, consisting of the following phases: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Each phase is carried out sequentially to ensure the system’s accuracy and stability. Testing was conducted to evaluate system functionality based on user needs, including login features, user data management, uploading materials and assignments, as well as interaction through comments. The result of this study is a web-based e-learning application that can be accessed via the internet by teachers, students, and administrators. The developed system was proven to function properly during testing, with all features working as intended. This application effectively and efficiently supports the learning process and is expected to serve as an alternative solution in supporting education digitalization at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted the field of education, particularly in the implementation of online learning (e-learning). This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-learning system for online courses using the Laravel framework. The system is designed to facilitate interactive learning between instructors and course participants, featuring user management (admin, teacher, student), course management, learning materials, payment transactions, and student progress tracking. The system development methodology follows the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) approach, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Laravel was chosen as the framework because it supports structured, secure, and efficient web application development. The result of this research is a responsive and user-friendly e-learning system that effectively supports distance learning. This system is expected to serve as an alternative solution for providing an online course learning platform that is flexible and accessible anytime and anywhere.
