Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a vital role in improving community welfare through independent and professional village business management. One potential service is the provision of village internet, which supports digital transformation and information transparency. However, Wonorejo BUMDes still faces obstacles in managing these services, such as the ordering process and payment verification that have not been digitized. This study aims to design a web-based village internet service information system to improve transparency, efficiency, and public access to information. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation and maintenance. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and tested using the Black Box Testing approach using 18 test scenarios (test cases), as well as the System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation which produced a score of 77.44, which is included in the "acceptable" category and reflects user satisfaction. The results of the study indicate that the developed system is able to meet user needs and encourage active community participation in monitoring and improving the quality of BUMDes services.

Abstract

School libraries play an important role in supporting the learning process, but library data management at SMK Negeri 5 Bengkulu City is still done manually. This situation leads to various issues, such as slow administrative processes, risks of data errors, and difficulties in tracking book inventory and loan activities. To address these issues, this study aims to develop a web-based Library Data Processing Information System using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The research method used is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Waterfall approach, consisting of the following stages: requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and implementation. The system is designed to facilitate administrators in managing book data, member information, borrowing, and returns, as well as generating reports automatically. System testing was conducted using the Black Box method, which demonstrated that all features function properly according to user needs. The result of this research is an information system that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of library management, reduce manual errors, and simplify the report generation process. Thus, this system is expected to be a solution to library management problems at SMK Negeri 5 Bengkulu City and serve as a reference for the development of similar systems in the future.

Abstract

Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) play a crucial role in delivering primary health services, including the monitoring and management of malnutrition. Malnutrition remains a critical issue affecting child health and development, especially in vulnerable regions. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Malnutrition Information System at Puskesmas Kota Manna to improve the efficiency and accuracy of nutrition data management. The system is developed using the Waterfall methodology and utilizes PHP and MySQL as core technologies. Through this system, data recording, reporting, and analysis of malnutrition cases are carried out in a more structured and integrated manner. The implementation results show that the system helps healthcare workers monitor child nutritional status, accelerate decision-making processes, and reduce data entry errors. The study recommends user training and infrastructure improvement to ensure the system's optimal adoption across various healthcare areas.

Abstract

The development of information technology is essentially aimed at making it easier for communities to access accurate information. In the context of village administrative governance, manual population data management often causes various issues such as recording errors and inefficiency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based population information system using the waterfall development method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is built using PHP programming language, MySQL database, Visual Studio Code editor, and XAMPP server. The result shows that data recording processes become faster, more accurate, and less prone to duplication. The developed website, https://kantordesarantaukadam.online, allows population services to be efficiently performed and accessed online by village officials and residents. Hence, the system improves the quality of public services and supports the digitalization of village administrative processes.

Abstract

Masjid Akbar Guli Lor functions as a center for religious and social activities within the community. However, its kencleng (charity box) program faces challenges in financial administration, including inaccurate reports and poorly recorded congregation data. This study aims to develop an integrated financial administration information system for the kencleng program to improve accessibility and transparency of donation funds. The method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall model approach, consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The system is built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework. Testing was conducted using black box and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. The black box testing results show that all system functions operate according to the design. Meanwhile, the SUS test involving 30 respondents recorded an average score of 77,25, which falls under the "Good" category, indicating a high level of usability. Thus, the information system successfully assists the management of Masjid Akbar Guli Lor in managing kencleng finances in a more structured, transparent, and accessible manner, thereby enhancing congregational trust in giving infaq (charity).

Abstract

The rise of online gambling in Indonesia has led to a serious addiction crisis, exposing the limitations of formal institutions in addressing the issue. This study explores symbolic interaction in the “Stop Judi Online” Telegram community and examines how members form new identities through these interactions. Using a qualitative netnographic approach under an interpretive phenomenological paradigm and symbolic interactionism theory, data were collected via participant observation, in-depth interviews, and digital documentation from members. Analysis involved triangulation and staged coding. The community has developed its own symbolic system with terms like “day-1,” “kapok,” and “reset,” which signal identity transformation. Member narratives follow a recurring three-phase cycle: fall, turning point, and recovery serving as a symbolic rehabilitation blueprint. Telegram’s anonymity enables a safe space for honest self-reconstruction. Symbolic interaction fosters identity change through shared meanings. The study suggests integrating this model into formal rehabilitation by adopting anonymity and peer-driven participation.

Abstract

Eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy are leading causes of blindness that can be prevented if detected early. This study aims to develop an eye disease classification system using a vision transformer architecture using fundus images. The data used consisted of 4,028 fundus images evenly divided into four classes: cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and normal. The vision transformer model underwent preprocessing, augmentation, fine-tuning, and evaluation using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score. Test results showed that the vision transformer model was able to classify eye diseases with high accuracy and stable performance across all classes. This model was also able to effectively recognize the characteristics of each disease, demonstrating the superiority of the vision transformer in understanding the global visual context of medical images. This study suggests that the vision transformer can be effectively used in an automated eye disease detection system using fundus images, although further optimization is still needed for use with devices with limited resources. This system is expected to facilitate early detection and reduce the workload of medical personnel.

Abstract

Class imbalance in multi-class employee attrition prediction is a major challenge in human resource analytics, causing bias towards the majority class and poor performance on the minority class. This study proposes a multi-objective genetic algorithm (GA) framework using NSGA-II to address multi-class imbalance in the IBM HR Analytics Employee Attrition & Performance dataset. By optimising precision, recall, and fairness (normalised Demographic Parity Difference), this framework generates synthetic samples for minority classes (Resign, Retire_Termination) through two-class adaptive clustering and a weighted fitness function (β=0.3). Experiments were conducted with the XGBoost classifier, comparing GA with the SMOTE baseline. Results show that GA achieves a macro F1-score of 0.65 ± 0.02, surpassing SMOTE (0.56 ± 0.03), with significant improvements in Resign (F1-score 0.59 vs. 0.51) and Retire_Termination (F1-score 0.42 vs. 0.24). The fairness value of GA (0.82 ± 0.02) was higher than that of SMOTE (0.75 ± 0.03), indicating fairer predictions. Visualisation of the Pareto front and convergence of GA illustrates the trade-off between objectives and algorithm robustness. Key contributions include a GA framework that integrates fairness, advantages over SMOTE, and flexibility for HR applications.
