Abstract

Correspondence administration is one of the key aspects in supporting the smooth functioning of bureaucracy in government institutions, including at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Minahasa Regency. The current manual management of incoming and outgoing letters often leads to various issues, such as delays in recording, data entry errors, and difficulties in retrieving archived correspondence. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for managing incoming and outgoing letters to optimize administrative processes within the DPRD Secretariat. The system development follows the prototype method, which allows users to provide direct feedback on the initial system model for iterative improvements. The result of this research is a web-based application that facilitates effective and efficient recording, archiving, searching, and reporting of correspondence. With the implementation of this system, it is expected that the letter administration process at the Secretariat of the DPRD Minahasa Regency will become faster, more accurate, and well-documented.

Abstract

Decision support system is an information generating system aimed at a particular problem that must be solved by the manager and assists the manager in decision making. Making a decision with many criteria requires a special handling method, especially if the criteria for making a model before the decision is taken. The SMART method is more often used because of its simplicity in responding to the needs of decision makers and analyzing responses. So the formulation of the problem in this study is how to implement the smart method of making honorary decisions. With the aim as comparative data in making decisions on honorary signs for members of the Indonesian National Police, Bengkulu Region. It is hoped that this application will always be up to date so that this application follows the development of Android-based technology with the flutter framework by utilizing the smart algorithm.

Abstract

The computer network at SMK Negeri 06 Kaur is currently connected to the internet. However, the utilization of LAN network, especially the internet, at SMK Negeri 06 Kaur is not yet optimal, as there are still frequent network disruptions such as slow connections and a large amount of inappropriate content being accessed. This study aims to implement wireless network management based on a captive portal at SMK Negeri 06 Kaur. The study employs the Network Development Lite Cycle (NDLC) method. The implementation of captive portal-based network management is expected to improve network performance, enabling users at SMK Negeri 06 Kaur to access the network using a single username on a single device, with bandwidth allocation based on account profiles, and bandwidth management conducted via profiles connected to a simple queue. After implementing captive portal-based network management at SMK Negeri 06 Kaur, the network operates stably and effectively, with results including network speed limits and usage time limits.

Abstract

The computer network at SMAN 10 Kota Bengkulu is currently connected to the internet network, the utilization of the LAN network, especially the internet at SMAN 10 Kota Bengkulu has not been maximized, because there are still frequent network disruptions such as slow networks that cause many sites that cannot be opened when many users. This study aims to conduct web-based bandwidth management using Mikrotik at SMAN 10 Kota Bengkulu. The study used an experimental method. With the existence of Mikrotik-based network management, it is expected to smooth the network. So that the benefits of the network can be felt by users of SMAN 10 Kota Bengkulu. Bandwidth management at SMA N 04 Kota Bengkulu can be done via the web, with one user name only being able to access the network on one device, bandwidth management with this web will produce an account according to the account profile, bandwidth management is done using the web. After managing bandwidth using a Mikrotik-based web at SMAN 10 Bengkulu City, the network can run stably and well, namely with throughput results = 4.06, Average delay = 0.648, jitter = 0.018 and Packet Lost = 0%.

Abstract

Information security has become a top priority in higher education environments due to the increasing risks of cyber threats. The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) developed Cyber Security Maturity (CSM) version 1.10 as an instrument for assessing cybersecurity maturity, covering five main domains: Governance, Identification, Protection, Detection, and Response. This study aims to explore the implementation of CSM BSSN in Indonesian higher education institutions and identify implementation challenges due to limited IT human resources and funding support. The research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology with a thematic analysis approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with key informants at one of the Private Universites in Indonesia (disguised as Alpha University) and literature studies from scholarly articles on the implementation of various information security frameworks such as Indeks KAMI, ISO 27001:2013, NIST, and COBIT in higher education. The findings indicate that limitations in IT human resources and funding are the main challenges in implementing CSM BSSN, particularly in the Governance, Protection, and Response domains. This study provides practical recommendations for higher education institutions to adopt CSM BSSN, including strategies for optimizing IT human resources and funding management.

Abstract

Hyperthyroid disease is a type of cancer in which cancer cells multiply in the thyroid issue. Diagnosis of hyperthyroid disease is difficult because the symptoms of thyroid disease can vary depending on the rise and fall of thyroid hormones which inscrease the use of oxygen by body cells. However, the limited number of doctors in handling this disease make it difficult for user to consult directly about this hyperthyroid disease. So to overcome this problem, an expert system is needed to diagnose thyroid disease based on patient clinical data online to help patients or the public to consult independently. This expert system use fuzzy mamdani Method using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of expert system can provide convenience for useer to diagnose early hyperthyroid disease.

Abstract

The general public requires high-quality tailoring services that are fast and within their budget. However, many consumers still struggle to choose the right tailor due to a lack of objective information about quality, price, and services offered. The implementation of the TOPSIS method in providing tailor recommendations in Bengkulu City can offer the best tailor recommendations in Bengkulu City based on consumer criteria such as price, facilities, and turnaround time, as well as provide information on each tailor in Bengkulu City, including address, contact number, operating hours, facilities, and prices. To facilitate the implementation of the TOPSIS method, a web-based application was developed using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database. The application for implementing the TOPSIS method in providing tailor recommendations in Bengkulu City can be accessed online via the URL link http://tailorkotabengkulu.online/. Based on the system testing conducted, it can be concluded that the application for implementing the TOPSIS method in providing tailor recommendations in Bengkulu City has functioned well as expected and is capable of providing tailor recommendations that align with consumer preferences.

Abstract

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) is a mental disorder that causes children to have difficulty concentrating, as well as impulsive and hyperactive behavior. ADHD generally appears in children under 12 years of age, but ADHD that occurs in children can be carried into adulthood. This condition can impact a child's achievement if not treated early. Soeprapto Mental Hospital is one of the specialized hospitals that provides facilities and infrastructure in mental health and drug services for the community in Bengkulu Province. Based on the results of observations conducted at Soeprapto Mental Hospital Bengkulu, an average of 2-5 children per month are found to experience ADHD. One way to diagnose this disorder is to consult with an expert. The Expert System for Early Detection of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) at Soeprapto Mental Hospital Using the Certainty Factor Method was created using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and can be accessed online through the link https://adhdrsjksoepraptobkl.online/. This expert system for early detection of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) can help the public, especially in Bengkulu Province, to consult by entering the patient's symptoms to obtain information on early detection of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. Based on testing conducted using the black box method both offline and online, it was found that the application's functionality ran well in terms of input, output, and the applied CF method. From the results of alpha testing conducted at Soeprapto Mental Hospital, it can be concluded that this expert system application can be a solution in the process of early identification of ADHD symptoms so that it can be used as a further consideration and faster intervention.

Abstract

Mathematics, particularly geometry, is often considered difficult to understand by elementary school students due to its abstract nature and the high level of spatial visualization it requires. The low interest of students in learning mathematics indicates the need for more innovative and enjoyable learning approaches. This study aims to develop a learning medium based on Augmented Reality (AR) in the form of an educational adventure game to help students understand geometric concepts visually and interactively. AR technology was chosen for its ability to display three-dimensional objects in the real world, thereby enhancing students' spatial understanding. The application integrates elements of a 2D platformer game and interactive quizzes aligned with the Kurikulum Merdeka, and is intended for students in grades IV to VI of elementary school. Enemy characters are designed to resemble geometric shapes to make it easier for students to recognize the forms in a fun way. The AR feature enables 3D visualization of the shapes, complete with names and formulas. The development process follows the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC), consisting of six stages: initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release. Black-box testing showed that all 24 features and buttons functioned as expected, achieving a 100% success rate. Usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire involving 26 students from MI MPK Kertonatan, resulting in an average score of 69.61. This score falls into the marginal - high category (Grade D) and was rated ok by the users. This AR-based learning media is considered feasible to use and has the potential to enhance students’ interest and understanding of geometric concepts interactively.

Abstract

Hotel Adeeva is one of the hotels in Bengkulu City that provides various services, such as room rental, meeting money rental, party money rental, restaurant and others. The computer network at Hotel Adeeva Bengkulu City is currently connected to the internet network, the utilization of the LAN network, especially the internet at Hotel Adeeva Bengkulu City is not optimal, because it is still used for staff and employees, while guests cannot enjoy it. This study aims to implement wireless LAN authentication using the PHP API at Hotel Adeeva Bengkulu City. The study uses a quantitative experimental method. With the existence of a wireless LAN authentication system using the PHP API, it is hoped that the LAN network, especially the internet, can be enjoyed by all (staff, employees and guests). So that it adds value to the services at Hotel Adeeva. The Wireless LAN authentication system based on the PHP API uses the Mikhmon application, so that it can manage users in terms of bandwidth, users and active duration
