Abstract

Klinik Pratama Alwid Baroqah is one of the health clinics located in Bengkulu City. Until now, the evaluation of medical staff performance has not been systematic, making it difficult for the management of Klinik Pratama Alwid Baroqah to make appropriate decisions regarding recommendations for contract extensions, termination of employment, or employment relationships. The Decision Support System for Evaluating the Performance of Medical Staff at Klinik Pratama Alwid Baroqah using Vikor Method can serve as an alternative in decision-making for evaluating the performance of medical staff at the clinic and can assist in providing performance evaluations of medical staff at the clinic, thereby making the evaluation process more structured and systematic. This Decision Support System was developed using Visual Basic Net programming language with SQL Server database. From the test data used, involving 10 medical staff during the evaluation period from July to December 2023, the results showed that with a Vikor index value range of 0.000–0.750, 8 medical staff had their employment contracts extended, while with a Vikor index value range of 0.917–1.000, 2 medical staff did not have their employment contracts extended. Based on the system testing conducted, it can be concluded that the decision support system application for evaluating the performance of medical staff at the Klinik Pratama Alwid Baroqah has been functioning well and successfully implemented Vikor method on the performance evaluation data of medical staff according to the evaluation period and year, and displayed recommendation results for decision-making regarding each medical staff member.

Abstract

Mental health is an important aspect that needs attention, especially in an Islamic boarding school environment that has high emotional and spiritual dynamics. However, the consultation system used is still manual and not well documented. This research aims to design and implement a web-based Student Mental Health Monitoring Consultation Information System (SiKonsul) at the Djannatul Huda Islamic Boarding School. The development method used is the Waterfall model with the stages of needs analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The system is developed using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database, and is presented in the form of UML diagrams to facilitate system visualization. The test was carried out through Blackbox Testing and usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results of 32 respondents showed an average score of 86.25 which was classified as "Excellent", indicating that the system is very suitable for use and acceptance by users. Thus, SiKonsul is expected to be an effective digital solution in improving mental health consultation services in a sustainable manner in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of the business world requires quick and precise decisions in determining the best-selling products to increase sales. KZ Allshop faces challenges in determining which products have the highest demand and should get more attention. For this reason, this research aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a decision support system (SPK) to help determine the best-selling products. SAW method was chosen for its ability to give weights to various relevant criteria, such as price, quality, and number of sales. This research collects data from various products available in the store and calculates the preference value of each product based on predetermined criteria. The implementation results show that SAW method can effectively identify the best-selling products, which helps management in making more objective and data-driven decisions. Thus, the use of SAW method in this decision support system can be an effective solution in improving the efficiency of product management at KZ Allshop.

Abstract

KUA Ulu Musi Sub-district is one of KUA offices in Empat Lawang Regency that plays an important role in recording and facilitating marriage processes, including issuing permits, recording, and issuing related documents. Until now, data processing at KUA Ulu Musi has been done manually through data recording books, and the number of marriages is written on a board provided as information. Given that the number of marriages fluctuates annually from 2014 to 2023, KUA sometimes faces difficulties in ensuring the availability of documents, managing wedding queues, and preparing the necessary facilities. The implementation of data mining in predicting the number of marriages using the least squares method at KUA Ulu Musi can provide information regarding the predicted number of marriages for the following year, enabling KUA to prepare sufficient administrative staff and personnel to serve prospective couples optimally and avoid case backlogs during certain periods. Based on test data with two data conditions—odd numbers (2014–2022) and even numbers (2014–2023) the predicted number of marriages for 2023 was 166, and for 2024, it was 168. From the accuracy level testing, the accuracy level calculation yielded a MAPE error percentage of 18.43%, indicating good accuracy. This shows that the least squares method is sufficiently reliable in predicting the number of marriages at KUA Ulu Musi.

Abstract

Expert systems are a branch of artificial intelligence designed to mimic the ability of an expert to make decisions or solve problems in a particular field. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system capable of performing diagnoses using the forward chaining method as an inference mechanism. This system is intended to help the public recognize specific problems, particularly in the field of health. Unfortunately, people often lack access to professional psychological services. This study aims to build web-based expert system that can help make an initial diagnosis of mental disorders using forward chaining method. This system is designed to collect symptoms from users, process them using a rule base determined by experts, and provide automatic diagnosis results. In its development, the system uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database to store symptom data, disease information, and consultation results. The inference process is conducted sequentially (forward chaining) based on the symptoms selected by the user until a conclusion is reached regarding the type of mental disorder and its likelihood. Testing results indicate that the system can provide reasonably accurate results in identifying users' mental conditions based on the symptoms entered. This system is expected to serve as a useful initial consultation tool, particularly in communities with limited access to mental health services. However, this system is not intended to replace the role of professionals but rather as a form of technological support to aid in early detection.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the complex social problems and is the main focus of development in many areas that affect various aspects of people's lives, especially in rural areas. Padang Kuas Village is one of the villages in Seluma Regency in Bengkulu Province. Based on test data of 88 residents of Padang Kuas Village in 2023, the results of the Cluster C1 data grouping (very poor group) consisting of 27 population data, Cluster C2 (poor group) consisting of 36 population data, Cluster C3 (almost poor group) consisting of 1 population data, and Cluster C4 (vulnerable poor group) consisting of 24 population data. Based on the system testing that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the Village Office can find out the level of poverty which has been divided into 4 groups, and the application is quite helpful in identifying residents who fall into groups according to the level of poverty.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important role in the Indonesian economy. Not only do they create jobs, but they also contribute to inclusive economic growth. There many types of MSMEs in Indonesia, with batik businesses being among the more prominent. Batik Rama Mukti still faces obstacles in product marketing, specifically relying on manual sales through offline stores and lacking awareness about benefits of digital marketing. This study aims to build an information system Batik Rama Mukti’s product marketing to support the development of a digital MSME. The research methodology uses the software development life cycle with the waterfall method, which includes several stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system is also built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and database management with MySQL. Additionally, Black Box testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) are conducted. Based on the Black Box testing, the system is functioning well and as expected. The SUS testing resulted in a score of 78.9, which falls into the good category. The results of this information system can facilitate both buyers and administrators in accessing it.

Abstract

The MJ Sweet MSME represents a small-to-medium enterprise engaged in the production and distribution of assorted cakes and confectionery products. In its operational practices, the enterprise continues to encounter substantial challenges in managing product data, sales transactions, and promotional activities due to the absence of an integrated information system. This research aims to design and implement a web-based sales information system intended to streamline the management of products, transactions, and financial reporting in a more efficient, structured, and organized manner. The system development process employs the Waterfall model, encompassing sequential stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing.The application was developed using the PHP programming language, MySQL as the database management system, and the Laravel framework, which together enable the creation of an interactive, responsive, and user-friendly interface. System evaluation was conducted through the Black Box Testing approach to validate the functional conformity of all system components with the established specifications. The testing outcomes demonstrated that all system features operated optimally without any functional discrepancies. Overall, the developed system effectively enhances sales operational efficiency, improves data accuracy, and provides significant convenience for both administrators and customers in executing online transactions.

Abstract

The use of GDSS in concentration selection using TOPSIS method offers a systematic and data-driven approach to group decision-making. This enables more informed decisions that are widely accepted by all group members, thereby enhancing satisfaction and achieving better outcomes. This new system will be designed to be web-based using PHP and MySQL with computerized programs. Based on the results of the design, implementation, and testing of Group Decision Support System (GDSS) for selecting student concentrations using TOPSIS method, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1.GDSS system that was developed successfully helped the process of selecting student study concentrations objectively and efficiently. By considering various criteria (academic grades, student interests, lecturer recommendations, job opportunities, facilities), the system was able to recommend the right concentration choices. 2.TOPSIS method proved to be effective in calculating concentration alternatives based on the principle of distance from positive and negative ideal solutions. 3.The use of the system accelerates the decision-making process. The average time required to determine a concentration has decreased drastically from approximately 1–2 days (manually) to less than 20 minutes with the system's assistance. 4.The implementation of a web-based GDSS makes the system more flexible and easily accessible to all parties involved, including faculty, students, and administrators

Abstract

The Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Minahasa Regency currently still uses a traditional method for recording guest book entries, namely manually using paper. This method leads to several issues, such as inefficiency in data retrieval, the risk of information loss, and difficulty in summarizing visit data. To address these issues, a web-based guest book information system was developed using the prototype software development method. This method was chosen because it allows the system to be developed incrementally with active user participation during the design and evaluation stages. The designed system includes key features such as digital guest data entry, the ability to search for data based on specific criteria, and automatic generation of visit reports. Testing results show that this system can simplify the process of recording and managing guest data at the DPRD Secretariat of Minahasa Regency. With the implementation of this system, it is expected that there will be a significant improvement in work efficiency and data accuracy.
