Abstract

Humans are social beings who crave and desire a healthy and normal life. There are humans who are lucky and should be grateful for being born normally without having any physical or mental disabilities, but there are also humans who are born with both mental and physical disabilities. On the other hand, there are also humans who are born normally and do not have disabilities, but in the course of their lives, there are unintentional accidents that make these humans disabled or disabled. The state is present in protecting and fulfilling the needs of disabilities in various aspects of life. According to Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities states that persons with disabilities are any person who experiences physical, intellectual, mental and/or sensory limitations for a long time in interacting with the environment may experience obstacles and difficulties to participate fully and effectively with other citizens based on equal rights. Abstract

Interest in learning is a person's tendency towards something he wants and creates a feeling of pleasure about that something. Interest is very influential on the achievements achieved, people who do not have an interest in a job, it is impossible to master it properly. If someone feels something is profitable for him then his interest will be higher, and it can bring satisfaction from within, if someone feels dissatisfied, then interest in something will also decrease. If the interest is ingrained in the student, the willingness to learn will drastically arise by itself. . Interest in learning means that if someone is interested in a lesson, he will have a feeling of interest in that lesson. He will study diligently and continue to understand all the knowledge related to that field, he will follow the lessons enthusiastically and without any burden on him. Like the children at the Shade of Kasih Kemuliaan Orphanage, they want to increase their interest in learning, especially in English lessons. And really need help to increase their interest in learning. The process of providing this assistance was carried out in the PKL 2 mini project activities, namely by using the Groupwork method as a social work technical approach aimed at helping individuals who experience problems with face-to-face services. Several stages consist of Assessment, Program Planning, Intervention, Program Evaluation and the last stage is Termination. The focus of solving client problems is to convince the client to be even more active in the learning process. The purpose of this strategy was declared successful with significant client changes including in the learning process which increased interest in learning for him.

Abstract

The emergence of cell phones/smartphones has made many children more fun and busy with the features on these devices, individuals prefer interaction via social media networks rather than having to meet face to face. The emergence of this smartphone also has a new effect on user behavior, namely smartphone addiction behavior or a person's dependence on the continuous use of a smartphone without considering the negative impact. Cellphone/smartphone addiction is a form of attachment or addiction to cell phones that may become a social problem such as withdrawal, and difficulties in performing daily activities or as a disorder of impulsive control over one's self. This is also experienced by the people in the Kedai Durian Village. Children in this community think that playing smartphones for long periods of time is a natural thing to do. Therefore, the assistance process will be carried out in PKL 2 activities using the groupwork method with stages consisting of Intake, Assessment and Intervention Planning, Member Selection, Group Development, Evaluation and Termination. The focus of the completion that will be carried out is by getting used to doing positive activities such as drawing, painting, making handicrafts. This is done as a strategy to get rid of smartphone addiction. This goal was declared successful because the children had started to be interested in doing positive activities by drawing with their friends instead of playing on smartphones.

Abstract

The current social problem is the problem of juvenile delinquency, the impact arising from juvenile delinquency behavior and wise use of social media among adolescents, namely juvenile delinquency and the use of social media. As we know that there are many bad effects of juvenile delinquency and tend to be negative as well, promiscuity that causes free sex can be fatal to health. Free sex can occur because of the influence of the environment and one's wrong choice of environment in which to hang out. Juvenile delinquency is all behavior that deviates from the norms and values of criminal law committed by adolescents. This behavior can be detrimental to himself and those around him. The negative impacts of juvenile delinquency also vary, ranging from mild ones, such as disturbing the order and tranquility of the environment, to more extreme levels. So in this case we chose the topic for this socialization so that orphanage children don't get caught up in juvenile delinquency. Our goal is to socialize so that the orphans of the Indonesian International Child Assistance Foundation (YBAII) do not commit juvenile delinquency or keep the orphans away from negative things from their surroundings so that they are always on the right path and do not violate existing norms.

Abstract

Recovery  is  a  process  that  a  drug  addict  must  go  through  if  he  wants  to  be  completely  cured  of  his addiction.  Recovery  does  not  mean  just  stopping  using  (drugs),  recovery  must  be  understood  as  the creation  of  a  newlifestyle,  thus  it  will  be  easier  for  someone  to  decide  not  to  use  (drugs)  again.  In recovery  there  are  three  things  that  must  be  considered,  namely  avoiding  high-risk  situations,  learning how  to  relax,  and  telling  the  truth.  Recovery  demands  total  honesty,  that  is,  if  you  want  to  recover,  you have  to  be  one  hundred  percent  honest  with  the  people  who  support  you,  such  as  family,  doctors, therapists,  etc.  If  you  can't  be  honest  with  them  then  the  recovery  won't  go  well.  Being  totally  honest means not givinghis addictive  nature  a place to hide. If you lie, it means you have opened the  door for relapse.  An  opportunity  to  change  life  can  be  seen  as  an  opportunity  to  change  life.  Changing  lives  is what makes recovery difficult but also profitable. Recovery is difficult because a person has to change his or her life, and all changes are difficult, even if it turns out to be good. Recovery is beneficial because a person gets the opportunity to change his life. If we take the opportunity to change, then we will look back and  reflect  on  our addiction as  the  one  good  thing  that  ever  happened  in  life.  In  recovery,  people  often describe  themselves  as  grateful  addicts.  Why  should  someone  be  grateful  to  have  experienced  an addiction  because  starting  from  that  addiction  they  are  then  helped  to  find  the  peace  and  serenity  that many people seek. Recovery (recovery) can encourage a person to change his life

Abstract

Social problems are long-standing problems that exist today, both in developing and developed countries. Social welfare as an institution that provides organized and systematic assistance services equipped with methods that provide assistance services to  social needs both individually and in groups. This study aims to determine the method of implementing child assistance and family assistance at the Pinang Baris Children's Creativity Studio (SKA) and assistance for children facing the law at the Center for Child Protection Studies (PKPA). The type of research used is a qualitative method, and the results of the research were taken using interview techniques with several assistants in both locations, each of whom is responsible for a different field, so that we know that in the implementation of guidance as well as assistance to the need for Social Welfare Services in SKA and PKPA, there is still has a deficiency in its stages. For example, there is no contract between the client and the supervisor, then in advocacy services for children dealing with law, PKPA only gets services before and when the legal process is under way.
